As a 28 year old, unfit and unhealthy man. I decided I needed to make a drastic lifestyle change, considering I am getting no younger. I started this app in February 2021, going from around 1-2 miles a day, then slowly up to around 6 miles a day. I could not make this change without this app!! I struggle with motivation and mental health, but this Step Tracker kept me motivated, especially with it's milestones, challenges and achievements!
I have used this app for a year now. I've reached a lot of the goals so one thing I would add is more goals to reach, or extend the goals already in place. Other than that, it has been inspirational in getting out there, walking just a little bit more to reach my daily goal. It's exceptional in that I know how far I've come, from illness and depression. Thank you step tracker!
Compared to another I know is pretty accurate this one can't tell distance anywhere near reality. 13k. became 18k! It averages minutes per km as you go along which isn't what I wanted. And as it didn't 'upload' (?) At one point addedixrd in earlier readings and suggested I was walking at 40kph!. Not interested in any adverts but they did get in the way a bit.
Really great app, but too many ads! I expect ads in apps and have no issue with it, but there is something like too many. This is definitely it! Ads before, while and ending the app is too many.
Great feedback. I am working through a physio programme. To increase core strength. To release trapped nerves from the spine. To become more mobile. Step tracker shows progress, including when I have over-done things. Good charts, easy access. Thank you Step Tracker xx
Not accurate for me. A 11.5 km walk was shown as 10 km. There could be any number of explanations for this but I have a good phone and it should have been more accurate. UPDATE: The developer's response is satisfactory. I will raise the star rating if it improves. As I admitted in my original post, there can be multiple explanations for this; so not rushing to blame the app.
When I started to use this app it was accurate. When I decided to get rid of the ads and paid for it everything messed up and every time when I'm walking same route same distance it's off on correct measurement. I started hate it.
Does what I need and want. What I was hoping for in this app, basic not a bunch of B.S. stuff that complicates the adjectives and daily process. If u want ton of different vital levels and so forth probably not the app for u if u want to keep up with miles or kilometers daily, weekly, monthly, yearly then this is app for u with cool distance accomplishment levels... THANKS AND HOPE THIS HELPS GOOD LUCK ... STORIEBOOK OUT!!!
Good consistent step counts. However since most people need/ choose to replace phones every 2~3 years an option to transfer app history would be a major plus. I'm going to see if I can find a similar app with this feature.
I ❤ this app. Not a lot of bells an whistles. Easy to use and straight to the point. It doesn't interfere when you use other apps. Also it has a voice that tells you when your 1/2 to your goal when you do a challenge.
I've found that this app is far more accurate in my footage measurements than fit bit. I have no idea where fit bit is getting all the extra footage from. Thank you Step Tracker for being accurate, realistic and challenging.
So far so good! Only used once at the moment but was easy to operate, ran in the background while I listened to Youtube and only interrupted once to say keep it up after I slowed down a bit.
Overall the app does what it's supposed to but I've found the app will pause a workout at random periods and will only record part of my walk and will only start counting again when prompted. Because of this I've uninstalled and found another app.
A little tough to understand at times, but it does its job, and I mean it seems very accurate so I'm happy to stick with it. I like the achievements you can unlock too, and I feel this can motivate someone to carry on exercising and go that extra "mile", so to speak.
I like Leap Fitness is already a favorite of mine because of the Intermittent Fasting app I use and am super happy with. So after my Fitbit Versa 3 watch broke today I was upset because I was really on a mission to do walkathon training. Pleased to find this app can keep me motivated with my steps/distance/ duration mode and it's completely free. I don't worry about calories though because just walk 10k-20k steps 5-6 days a week keeps me in tip top shape. Thanks for making this so user friendly.
This is an awesome step tracker. If your just curious how many you walk on a regular basis or if you need a little push to start moving. It really works for everyone. I really enjoy the option to compete with people near you. That definitely gives an edge for wanting to do better. And I really enjoy the drink more water reminder. That's just fun!
Brilliant. Packed with features others don't have (mapped steps, ongoing steps/calorie counter, etc). For a hiking enthusiast, priceless. I've used a number of these pedometer apps, but this one is so good, I already uninstalled the rest. I use an ad-blocker so I cannot comment about those. Easy to use. Enthusiastically ecommended.
Easy purchase, no need for smart watch, and great features even for the free version. Great price for full version as well. Easy recommendation.
I really like this app. I do wish though, the voice would not come on telling me about my progress(at least have the option of silencing it) because if I'm talking on phone it interrupts my conversation. This app has helped me improve my health coming out of heart failure-i walk 4 miles a day, 3 days a week 😊
Very glad I found this. It is easy to set up. It is based on steps and tells you when you pass 3000, 7000 etc. Each day it gives you total miles walked. It also has a timer to alert you to drink water that you can adjust to amount you want and time. You can turn off GPS, or use it for trails. You can set goals for calorie burning.
I just started using this app and it's full of pleasant surprises. It's step counter seems more accurate than the competition. It has a nice interface and I am about to discover about its GPS feature. I can imagine what it does and I'll activate it when I go jogging today. Overall, very happy with this app
