the app is awesome. however.. I absolutely HATE the fact that I can't buy all our tickets with one card. We prefer booking and paying through the app (didn't even have trouble once-just lucky I guess?) but then I have to put in every card number, everytime. in the end we just go with the cash price and lose the points. It would be easier to allow us to make the purchases on 1 card, even if we only get allocated one ticket's points.

I absolutely hate your app! It used to work perfectly. I could go to the cinema closest to me, see what was showing, click on the movie to watch the trailer to make a choice. Now you have broken the user friendliness as you have to see what is on then go to the movies and find it to watch the trailer. What a useless waste of time!!!! If you go via the movies you have to search thru dozens to find the movies on at your cinema and you can't compare times. The feedback link is also broken!!!

You have one of theeee most frustrating apps I've ever used. I don't think I've ever had an easy, faultless experience buying tickets on the app. Everytime there's an update I am so excited that the issues may have been ironed out. And every time I end up having to go online with my PC to buy the tickets because the app just fails me. Today in particular I could not pay for my tickets because the browser part of the payment just blanks out, this happened 3 times at 3 different stages of payment, just a blank browser screen after filling in my payment details or proceeding to the next screen in the steps. Then when I wanted to do the bookings online, ofcourse my seats were still taken, by my previous attempt. Had to hit refresh for 10 minutes before that finally resolved itself. Thereafter it would not let me apply my vitality discount because it thought I'd already bought tickets for this movie, even though all previous attempts had failed. Called customer support and got a fantastically helpful "wait 20min and then try again" after which the credit card payment failed without any explanation why. I wanted to give up at this stage but there was at least a retry payment option on the site so it finally went through. After 5 attempts. This is appalling. After every experience booking tickets via your online platforms, I actually require a spa day to relax again! Where are your User Experience Designers?

App sometimes crashes when doing payments, which will take half an hour+ of arguing with staff at the booking counter to rectify the booking. Not to mention several other issues I've had trying to book with the app. It's nice WHEN it works. When it doesn't,expect major frustrations trying to sort out messed up bookings, double payments off your account etc

The app was bad before, but after the UI update it is absolutely abysmal. Not allowing a user to see a movies information from the cinemas tab is both unintuitive and nonsensical, and being unable to see showtimes when you expand a movies information after filtering by cinemas is the same. Please read up on both Human Computer Interaction and on Mobile Design before attempting to fix your app, though at this point it is doubtful that you are capable of creating anything decent.

Consistent crashing when bookings are attempted. Tried the cache flush...Tried the entire App storage flush...Tried uninstalling and reinstalling and still no success...Checked permissions...checked connectivity. Gave up on ster kinekor. Time to finish that home cinema. So many issues since their rebirth and still no happiness. You would think that more effort would go into this if they wish to continue making money. No wonder more and more migrate to online services.

Serious bugs. Keeps asking for verified email address. You have it. Cannot get started without verification. Delays in allocating points Even staff at theater don't want to use app to book. They prefer to use their machines.

After payment made with verification from Bank, the app froze and did not fully register the booking. Now it is a huge inconvenience to correct the issue and even a refund is troublesome. Allegedly they aware of the glitch but to my disappointment they do not have a process in place to assist clients who are affected. DO NOT USE THE APP TO MAKE A BOOKING

I love the app it's extremely better than the website. Seriously fix your website. One problem though is that after 10 at night when you want to view the next day movies it doesn't show at all. It like the app is set to go off after the last show is screening.

I have never been able to book a ticket on this app. it is very slow and unresponsive. the customer experience was completely disregarded in the making and releasing of this app. so sad that we have to be subjected to interacting with this app. pity there are little to no competitors in this space sterkinekor. every time I use this app or interact with the brand it is begrudgingly.

Works really well easy to book tickets. Only thing is that it does not allow you to purchase only popcorn or only drinks you have to buy combos. They should introduce where you can purchase different items and not only a certain combo.

This is honestly the worst app I have ever used. It works maybe 1 in 10 times, declines payment even before you get to the payment gateway and put in your card details, Tells you that bookings are not made for no reason, Doesn't let you book again with loyalty or discovery cards because it tells you that you've already used it (for a booking that wasn't even made), Takes long to load,Sometimes the app itself opens and automatically closes, This happens 90% of the time we use it. So frustrating

App gets worse with each iteration. Slow and ponderous. Not user friendly. Selecting loyalty cards one at a time. I feel sorry for anyone with more than 1 kid. Ever heard of multiple selections using checkboxes? Then just no way to get past the card selection to seat selection; no reason given. Eventually get to payment, and then a payment failed message. EXCEPT that I later get an email for the booking and my credit card shows that funds have been reserved. 50 min to book 4 vitality tickets.

If you enter you SK club card but do not complete the booking and then decide to book a different movie instead, your club card is unavailable as it is registered as already been used. If you have made a booking the booking is added to your google calendar. This is an amazing feature, too bad Ster Kinekor can't get this right. It adds the event to your calendar but with the wrong time.

I would give this a zero if it was possible. The app simply crashes everytime you select your tickets, never managed to book a ticket. I gotta say every time ster kinekor makes an app they get worse(less reliable). The app version from 3 years ago was the last version to actual work reliably.

This is one of the worst apps I have ever had the displeasure of using. I would rather be repeatedly stabbed in the eyes than have to use it ever again. Whoever was in charge of UX should find a new career. Abysmal.

I am absolutely disgusted and disappointed. I always use your service and I've been a loyal customer but this is the second time I have attempted to purchase tickets on the website and payment is taken from my account but no ticket confirmation as your app once again has had a problem. this is the SECOND time it's happened. the first time it took more than a month to have my refund. not a happy person right now

Much smoother than usual experience with this app. Seems like they've been working hard to improve the app and its stability. Still a bit cautious to give it a higher rating, because it has been extremely temperamental in the past.

After many years of trying to get it right, Ster-Kinekor have finally done it! This app is awesome! You can also buy tickets and snacks here. The app remembers your loyalty cards & payment/ccard info, and provides a barcode ticket which you scan at the cinema to enter. No more queues or paper. Awesome!! Well done SK.

App is good in searching but I really wish one could know without having to click each time slot button that the movie is fully booked, having click and find that it's full and then again going back to cinema list to view times for the same cinema again, its time consuming and not really a good UI expirience

The app has ONE job - book movie tickets. 50% of the time it cannot do this due to technical difficulties. Even when finally able to book tickets often the payment system malfunctions and hangs. Then you get confirmation tickets are bought but the app claims the payment did not go through. USELESS

This app has never been up to scratch. The new one is only marginally better. I can't change my birth date and to start with, I had to scroll thousands of dates back to get to 1974, making me feel like I'm an old fossil. Thanks. And even then it kept the info as 01 January 2000. Cheers. I feel better now. Even I try and change my personal info, it's now telling me my email is not in a correct format. But it was accepted initially so what's the problem? There is nothing wrong with it!!
