Useful battery life info. The app is limited by the dual functions of the buttons on the device. To use the unit fully you must look at the display, something that is inconvenient or even dangerous at times. I just need t ro control my audio apps reliably, but sometimes it is stuck in a mode that prevents me from navigating my audio, and I haven't learned how to know when the modes change without studying the display.
the good: no ads, straight forward interface and have nice features on control and setting. the slowdowns: frequent disconnect... software issue or hardware? Can have an update on both? and no Tuner setting card. I know it wasn't easy to be bugs free but these should be resolved with updates in phases. I have deleted this app and disconnect issue solved. So it is due to software bug or incompatibility when using my Galaxy Note 9.
Mixed bag of results. The headset works better without the software. The software makes it disconnect constantly. Some occasional garbling with Spotify, but I don't think it is the device"s fault. The last update is from 2017!!!
Works well overall. However it would have been awesome if camera controls were added to it so that I could use it as a camera remote on my android phone. I would be happy if sony includes this feature in a future update
The device is incredibly buggy and hangs/disconnects constantly. This software adds a few bells and whistles but does nothing to resolve that.
Still works great, but can you guys update it for Android 12 so it doesn't bug me everytime I load the app up that it was designed for an older version of Android
Bad experience with 2 devices connected. Always disconnected. There is no update anymore with bad app and firmware on bluetooth devices.
A sony product and Software of Amazingly Poor Quality. last update in 2017. frequent disconnection. connects to Apple device by bluetooth but needs this poor quality App for Android! Designers have not thought this through. Really poor customer experience
At first when I was using these headphones they kept losing connection. Now they seem to fix that problem and works great.
When iconnect the headphone to my mobile's Bluetooth the status of the app still disconnected and hardly cpnnect and i am not ablento use call log option while the app is showing disconnected
Disconnected several times, I used sbh54, last year warrantly changed two times, Total three devises same problem disconnected itself, some times logo connected but not hearing,, jumping harassing,,
It was very good and useful.you can see the percentage of charging and control your handsfree easily and completely with this app
Shows as disconnected in the app on my oneplus 7 pro but actually connects using Bluetooth. This app shows disconnected and hence cannot use advance features
Somewhat basic, nice. It was not working from many days but suddenly started detecting my headset.
Great device, rubbish app. Keeps saying headset is disconnected when in fact it is connected.
Alwayes disconnected and when speaking hazer sound is created. Very pathetic. No update for longtime.
somehow while its paired with my one plus, suddenly gets disconnected and I have to open the sb54 app and connect it again, several times a day
NFC and bluetooth doesn't work the idea of this is to make it easy connection. my 120$ flushed down the toilet
Even though i have an xperia xa1 plus the connection problems are persistent on the device. I returned it to the store and got my money back
Nice app just works amazing with Android 5. But please do add ambient sound mode to this app. It will be brilliant.
When I search for sony mw1 app it brings me here, and this app doesn't pair with it. The older mw1 app is not available now.

wrost app i have ever used, automatically got dusconnected after every few minutes, then you have to connect mannually ....
It crashes 100 times per day.. And disconnecting the headset.. App need a bug fix

Without this app my Bluetooth was not working properly. But now ots working excellent.
always get disconnected in between. please provide updates if not available then please work on updating new version

Don't know if it's software or hardware issue, the fact is that it's the worst expensive accessory I've ever bought. Constant and random disconnections, inconsistent notification sounds, buttons randomly unable to work, terrible. UPDATE: I add one more star, because it seems that I made it work. The two last firmwares are to blame. I downgraded to firmware 1.4.A.1.9 and now it seems to be working fine. The app itself keeps prompting me to update my firmware, but I just won't!.. The fact that I made it work does not mean that I like the device. The whole downgrading procedure is not that simple and should not have happened in the first place.
