It has difficulty remaining paired with the device even though my phone has been in my hand the whole time I've had the device on. Consequently, it isn't recording the amount of treatment time I'm actually using the device properly. I caught it twice and managed to get the app to "update" the time once and reconnect once. The last time was when the treatment time was over and the app won't update (even after being reconnected) now. So, it's going to report that I didn't use the device properly.

This app does not work very well. I have to continually uninstall then reinstall to get it to connect to my unit. I've tried everything. Everyday I open the app when I turn the machine on and every time it says device not connected. Very frustrating. Other than that it's a nice feature to have in conjunction with the device.

Glitchy! Nearly every single day, the app fails to record my use and compliance with my treatment. I have found a workaround by turning the device on again after my treatment is complete if it has not been recorded. The problem is that the app reports compliance to your doctor. If you don't notice this glitch or don't find a fix for it, your doctor is informed that you are not compliant, even if you have been compliant. Hopefully, this glitch can be fixed.

Paired easily with my device. Allows me to see how long is left on the treatment. Time is fixed on treatment, we should be able to change that. Another thing we should be able to do from the app is restart treatment I find it sometimes hard to reach the device. I don't use any of the other features.

So far the app is working okay. I did have a problem with it disconnecting from the device. I had to uninstall and reinstall to get it working again. Before it will pair with your device you can either scan the barcode on the back of the device or enter the serial number (also found on the back of the device). Like others I find it much easier to track my progress using the app than trying to read the lcd screen that is hard to focus on.

It's a good app, when it works. Accesses your calendar to set reminders for treatment and tracks your progress. But when your phone restarts for any reason it loses connection with the stimulator. Then you have to uninstall, restart the phone (if you don't the reinstall picks up the old files and you can't connect), reinstall and reconnect the device. And then it works fine until your phone restarts again. And it will restart again. Oh, and don't forget to delete the reminder on your calendar.

I love the calendar with colors. It's unfortunate that the software has to be synced every time you use it. If you do a partial treatment, then go back later to finish, the calendar gets confused. It will change colors, again as if confused, about the previous day or two. Luckily, it updated to green a day later.

First day (yesterday) it worked through 86% of my treatment and now it can't find the device. My Bluetooth is on and so is the location. I did the complete time because I watched it turn off when it was done. Then it put the information for today. I've restarted my phone multiple times. It's on and counting down right now and can't find it. Then when I try to get help in the app it says I don't have an internet connection when I clearly do. Time to hire new IT people!

Not sure why the bad reviews. This works well for me. Only thing is there's a delay. Let's say I wear the belt for 30 mins and then I launch the app. The app will need to sync for a few seconds and then it'll display the 30 minutes earned. Now let's assume I wear it for a total of 2 hours and then put it away. In order for those 2 hours to show in the app, you'll need to launch it (after the 2 hour period has completed), wait a couple seconds and then it'll record/ show the 2 hours in the app.

Been using this device and app since Feb 17, 2020. Today (4/10/2020) was the first day I had connection issues. I did my prescribed time - usually if it can't connect, I'll turn it on after it's done and it will sync. Not today. I was at 100% compliance before this. My PROM isn't even showing at the bottom anymore and when I click on today's date, the app errors out and closes.

I've needed the device for the last 3 months during this time the app was "buggy" at best. Frequent crashes, poor communication/display on the calendar and bluetooth disconnects were the issues The app totally stopped working this week. Numerous installs, reboots and phone clean-ups didn't help. I called tech support and they said yes there's a problem. We will let you know when we fix it, not sure how they didn't ask my info! The device is expensive, share some $ with the app developer!

Works fine for me, but I have two complaints: 1. My Doc prescribed it for two 2-hour sessions but the calendar is stuck on one 2-hour session. You can tap on a green calendar icon and see if you did it for 2 or 4 hours but the app should visually show this by a half green circle or have it not green. 2. The device itself turns off too quickly to grab the phone, open the app and let it sync. Maybe a 2-minute working beep on the device would be nice

The App and the Cervical spine bone stimulator device provide a needful function for post Cervical spine surgery patients. However, the Bluetooth connectivity process is poor, slow, and often failing. It's so bad that I usually have to go into settings and intentionally trigger a connection so this app updates. Even then, the update from the device to the phone takes over a minute, sometimes failing to perform any updates at all. This app is poorly engineered, needing a complete rewrite!

App doesn't recognize my full time of usage. Had to reload it twice. It completely took over my calendar with notifications to use it. I'm a grown person and don't need to be reminded to put this on. It also messed up my notification settings so that no noise was heard when I had a message. I've Uninstalled the app and my phone is back to running normal. Even though I've Uninstaller the app my yearly calendar is still loaded with daily reminders. Not happy about this.

The device does not accurately show the actual time spent using the device. This is sporadic. Have called customer service twice to report. I have a Samsung S8 Active. Customer service said Samsung had a softer upgrade that is causing the issue. Curious why Samsung is not responding to the software glitch,not able to correct the "buggie" software. OR does the software issue coming from another source that need attention to resolve. Orthofix needs to find a fix fast! It's their responsibility!

This app connects to your medical device via bluetooth. It does NOT maintain a good connection during use! Often it will not even connect! This app needs major improvements! When the app does connect to medical device, the ONLY way to keep it constantly connected is if you keep this app CONSTANTLY visible without letting your screen timeout! If the screen times out or if you open a different app to run at ther same time, this app loses its connection to your medical device EVERYTIME! Also,...

While for the most part the app works, there are many times it doesn't refresh. It does not display updated information as to time remaining. Also, the calendar does not update to green at the end of a treatment. It stays yellow until the next day's treatment starts.

Doesn't do much. It'll give you a record, but quite frankly that's so they can keep track of your compliance... In other words are you using it. There also seems to be a bug in the time when it switches to the next day. One time I put it on at midnight and the results show 8 hours for yesterday and 0.2 hours for the 4 hours I used it. Ditto on another night when I put in on after midnight- 8 hours for yesterday and zero hours for yesterday. Simple to fix, but...

Briefly looking at other reviews I did not see anyone complain about battery drain. My phone battery was completely drained in five hours. Phone is old but I never charge during the day. Uninstalled and my phone is fine. As an added annoyance, the app had been keeping track of my device until a week ago. So after using a month on my iPod which seems to work better than on my phone, it no longer kept device so now I have to pair the device every time I use it.

Able to use the belt when it's most convenient for me at times. Able to lay down, walk around or sit while wearing the belt. Can start an stop it during the treatment. Very convenient.

Started using the app on Sept. 30th. Worked great until Oct. 29th when the device would not connect. I tried to pair it again by scanning the bar code and then entering the serial number manually but it will not pair. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it still will not connect. At least the device itself shows percentage of compliance.

Best device work for about a week now doesn't work at all. On my phone it shows up that it's there in the Bluetooth and I connect to that and then I try to connect to the device but it says Bluetooth isn't working on the device the serial number might be wrong it might not be on when I put all those in several times and it is on.super annoying I have uninstalled it and installed it several times nothing works.

Working great until day 6, it wouldn't sync. I uninstalled it and reinstalled and still wouldn't work. So I just keep doing the treatment, and hopefully, it will sync.

Utter rubbish. I've had this device for 7 days now and the app only recorded data for the first 4 days. Every since then it's shown "DEVICE NOT CONNECTED" clicking any days on the calendar causes the app to crash. Tried removing and clean install with no improvement. Device still not connected and crashed.

I don't know if the device is doing anything but the rep says it works. It's very annoying if you have to bend down because it flips over your head. Maybe if there was a wire or something inside that you could fit it to your size it would be better. The app is my biggest problem. I constantly have to uninstall and install it because it just doesn't connect at least 40% of the time. Customer service is very nice but they can't help either. One star because of the app.

I can't tell whether the Stim actually works (20 days in) but it is similar to the concept of Earthing. My rating pertains to the app software as most reviews alluded to. It is also heavy around my neck after cervical spine surgery and needing 4 hrs each day. Again, I would think that the company should be aware at this time that an update rewrite of the app is in order. Also if the device is not on, you can't get info.

When I first started using my device on December 13 ,2019 the app worked for around 2 weeks. Now it doesn't update for each use. I've uninstalled 5 times and still won't update on the calendar. This app is useless. It doesn't work at all. Either it says that I only completed 76% or less or I didn't do any at all. I wouldn't give it one star but had to for this review. I just wanna make sure that my Dr is well aware of this app.

Great idea but does not work well in practice. The app and the device do not communicate well which causes inaccurate results being sent to doctors. I hope the device works better than this app.

App crashes. Doesn't log the treatment that was done already. Device itself doesn't hold a change resulting in having to charge the battery midway through a treatment causing the logged treatment time to reset to 0 hours completed.

Reinstalling the App is now a full time job . The App usually says the device can't be found/not connected when it's on and hanging around my neck! You'd probably get more reviews if you didn't make our names public. Update April 6, 2021. I'm getting a message to pair with the app. The device is on, my phone has bluetooth on and it's still says not found. I'm not calling the 800 number to be told to do what I've already done 20 times in order to reset it.
