Ive used a few stock simulator apps. This one was a nice idea with some potential- but the execution fell short. Sorry, it is not a program that can compared to the others now available. Test out some of the more popular stock sim apps and you will see quickly that this one does not contain enough features to do most of the things an app such as this should be capable of.
This works well for looking at market indicators for the beginning investor. I would give it 5 stars and continue to pay the monthly subscription fee, IF they include stop loss orders, more than one buy point (for dollar cost averaging), partial sells, multiple moving average lines on the primary chart, smaller buy arrows, and a date selector feature. This new app has promise to it, hope it can live up to the potential.
Not bad. But some improvements needed viz. introduction of more shorter day timeframes, more indicators like pivot points and the drawing tools definitely needs an upgrade.
Overall a good app. I just wish they added the Indian index also. If we are able to select the period(Date) of our choice then it would be great. Hoping 5Min time frame in the future update.
Just purchased sub, unable to change chart time frame scaling. The drop down just snaps closed. Does not wait for selection. Samsung s21 ultra on verizon. Android/one ui patched and up to date
No zoom in/out? Arrows cover candles so you cant see them. Cant scale in? Edit: scale in means buying more than once without selling first. Another thing is that stocks should be random and unnamed. I know Netflix did well so it takes some of the learning out of it. I can just hold it.
While the app works well and is useful for practicing, if you click the tutorial and exit the app, it attempts to load the tutorial next time you open the app and does not allow you to press the progress button. I've tried closing and opening again to no avail, and cannot use the app anymore.
application is good but premium option for many menu functional such like , more technical tools , indicators , candlestick time frame those all. overall it should be nominal charges or with ads it will be worth , but I don't think so premium option worth for it .
Cannot change to different type of chart, for example candle stick. Overall, GREAT app. It does something the others don't. Allowing you to test strategies quickly without waiting years, instead... Minutes! Amazing job guys :)
I really got addicted to playing on the hourly candles. I wish there were visually obvious vertical lines separating the days to avoid risky swings easier and 15, 5 and 1 minute candles. also a simple way to draw vertical support and resistance lines would be huge for me. once you mark a price level the line should just extend into the future indefinitely. then I could really plan out a trade. very addictive on the weekends!
For an app with such a high subscription fee, I thought they would include a 1min or at least 5min timeframe with more diversity of stocks to pick from. With what is is right now, would value at around $5/mo unless changes above are to be made. Otherwise, app is great and good to test out new strategies before hitting the market
Good for practice on past 10years historical data. I hope it can accept some user-defined config. For example, I always keep the order to have 2:1 profit to risk ratio and each risk is 2% of my capital. Current position sizing is not auto calculated based on the risk. Ref R-multiple concept. Another one is I hope to reset the trade history when resetting portfolio.
The buy / sell arrows are too big. It would be nice if users could hide them. It would also be good to allow multiple buys to scale into positions. Otherwise it's a great app.
Very good. Additional features like performance statistics (i.e. win loss and risk reward ratio) and screen split for multi time frame analysis would enhance the experience.
Review of premium - UI not great and finally crashed. Cant see your total stock holding overview and requires many clicks to see status of each holding. Would be better if you added an overview page or even just have ability to see you favourites.
im thinking it would be nice to press go as 'go faster' and not pressing go is a ...... mes. 'needing' to press the button is kind of a hastle but it is still good when you 'want' to go fast. ps. love it though! oh well one line of code and a radio button would do this but oh well. uninstalled.
Good, but there's no way I'll buy a yearly subscription. Make it a one-time purchase with only historical data and then one version with subscription for those who want updated data.
This app is easy to use and has a great interface. It uses an in-game clock so it's not the best for getting in the habit of checking your stocks regularly but it's great for short sessions to test your skill. Honestly, the best app of it's kind on the app store!
So much of work the app developer has done for this app. However, i would request the app developer to add below features: 1) Add ichimoku indicator (complete one) 2) Add the feature of manual import of data as well. for example, if i have a 5 year data for EURUSD in 1-min format, then i can add it to the app. 3) Add the feature of lot size instead of just percentage sizing of positions for entry and exit. 4) Add playback start date feature, so that user can start the playback from where he want
A laughable and woefully unrealstic training app. Made about 25 million in my first few minutes with the app. Also the cost for premium is astronomical and the free stuff doesnt make it seem like the paid stuff will be any better. There are better apps for a lot cheaper.
the triangles of the orders are very large and cover the bars, should move from 1 bar, not a 2, should also have stop loss and take Profit, if you arrange all this, it will be the best app is your style, while I prefer another
Its a good app but it needs some features for sure. I'm happy there's not much technical analysis tool because technical analysis doesn't work and it shouldn't be allowed if people's want to learn how to trade
needs more tools like for setting an exact Moving Average, and possibly more shorter time frames like the 1m, 5m, and 15m charts. Otherwise this app is the best I've even use yet
fast forward thru historical stock market charts and buy/short .... its a good app, but like most market training tools, its too easy to get rich cuz you can always get a fill at any size with no slippage
No real direction. For the price of premium, I'd expect a tutorial or something. If you're new, absolutely nothing on the screen makes sense. You buy, then sell and it doesn't really do anything.
This app is truly amazing at its core concept. The ability to trade 24/7 based off real data is helpful, especially on large timeframes. Of course, this wont help with slippage and fills, but great concept; however, I am definitely not paying the price point you have. The app is unfinished, there are too few indicators, and not enough options in regard to pyramiding into positions. If this becomes more polished, I would consider buying it 1-time purchase of $20, but definitely not yearly sub.
