We do not developer SF, only compile it for android.
Stockfish Chess Engine works on all GUIs having open exchange protocol, created by Gerhard Kalab.One installation works on multiple GUIs.
Install engine and run your favorite GUI (Graphical User Interface), chess board.UnInstall app to remove engine. Updating the app updates the engine.Being a library this app does not need has a view/layout, need a Chess Board App.The engine will appear in the engine list of the GUI

Stockfish is always an excellent engine. The low rates are from people who don't know they need a GUI.

Some Stupid reviews here...this is an engine...you need an app to work it in...your car won't drive if you got only an engine and no body an wheels etc😬
Do not download....it shows a page with URLs and then if you click on one it shows unavailable

Downloaded, but just got a page with 3 links that do nothing. No idea how to proceed. Use Chess Free (excellent interface) and Droidfish (very powerful). Can hardly recommend this. Need to be mindful of simple souls like me.
