Something went wrong please try again later. This is the error message I get every single time I attempt to log into the app. I've changed my password and even uninstalled the app but I can't log into it no matter what I do. I can access the web version but that's horrible and lacks the content that is available on the app. Oh and I've allowed split tunneling since I'm using a VPN and still there's no change.
I'm a long time Stockpile user on computer and I am frustrated when they announced that they are moving mobile. The app, at this point, looks clumsy and the ability to browse stocks is *not* ideal on phone. I would very much preferred the web based platform instead.
Pretty easy to use & nice to be able to buy fractional amounts of stock. HOWEVER it is always a mystery what the exact price is for what you're buying and selling since regardless of what time of day you request the buy/sell it doesn't happen until the end of the day. Most of the time that is to your detriment because you're making a decision based on old information and often end up buying stock at the highest price of the day
Great app. Very intuitive and user friendly. I think theyve worked out some buggy stuff w the app based on other reviews. Love the how-to invest articles to get you started. I also like that there isn't a charge for transactions
Another user hostile app. No menu, you have to tap and hope. View does not rotate, locked to portrait. Could find no way to log out, other than to close the app from the open app screen.
Its simple to use, fave thing is how it gives an in depth explanation of how stocks work. But it does have some bugs with the credit card scanner.
Excellent for beginners. Has clear instructions on how to use the app, navigation is easy, charts are basic but understandable, choices for purchase are easily categorized. Definitely doesn't contain sophisticated charts but it's perfect for quick reviews and keeping track of favorite stocks.
I'm new to this app my friend told me about it so I got it now I'm creating an account but I can never get past terms and conditions page to create the account...I would appreciate if I could get some assistance because I've re-download the app I've restart my phone but I still get stuck at that point
Amazingly awesome app! Especially for beginners! Not only does it make investing easy it teaches you about the stocks, trades, and market overall for a better understanding. Also, the staff is very professional and helpful.
The web interface could be so much better. They should try adding more information available on when you bought stocks and history of stocks. Also the app seems to be bugging out a lot. Will not let you log in with your fingerprint anymore and no app password saves and constantly logs you out with no option to stay logged in. If they could add a two-factor protection that last 30 days like other apps do that would be highly useful. Have used customer service and they're responsive and helpful
Easy to use. User friendly format. Has some major stocks and you can buy partials. Hope they expand.
Bugs out far too much compared to website log on. If you're going to force the switch you could make sure you have a working product.
Can't sign up. When I open the app it asks if I am an adult. There is nothing to click on. Evidentally no Beta testing was done. This is garbage.
Very user friendly and simple to use. Easy to navigate interface and all of the stocks, REITS and ETFs that I need are listed.
Yeah it's fine I guess. Takes a while for the app to let you buy and sell and use money that you recently put in your account. It also makes it really easy to invest percentages of stocks. Although it's pretty annoying that it keeps putting things in my watch list even after I press unwatch, if that gets fixed I would consider giving 5 stars.
I'm new to stocks buying/selling. This app is great for a new user to the world of stocks. The help they offer on understanding stocks and where to start is good. I will update this review later with more, for now I need to study the art of buying and selling stocks because I do not possess the knowledge to give any better review. But I've never had an issue with stockpile buying or selling and ive never experienced app crashes or other bugs. Good job devs thanks for your hard work.
Good, it's a great start and information is great. Just feel like not enough stock options. I look up different ones all the time. But like I stated great information and easy to follow along.
I can not resize text on the screen, some stocks are unlisted and browser login is too complicated.
Good App for Custodial Accounts for the kids. The graph could use an upgrade though. At least a candle chart.
So this is a simple app for beginner investors which lags a bit if you own more than 20+ different stocks. What would improve this app 1000% would be an option to sort the stocks you bought(by market value, alphabetical and so on) and fix the lag issue. If this happened I would be more inclined to give it a 5 star.
This app is based on good concept and provides the ability to gift people investments... It also provides an avenue for those that don't use conventional banking as you could have a prepaid debit card and still be able to invest... Despite the good mentioned above, it bugs out all the time... Sometimes, there's no biometrics, or I wouldn't see the list of stocks in my portfolio, or it'd be hard to scroll up and down and sideways... I would like to see the devevelopers improve that...
Can't even create an account I click yes this is correct and that's that it doesn't do anything does not load change screen just nothing
Its been a good experience for me. Seems easy to use, not been hard to follow with regards to buying and selling. Seems to have some good info for beginners too. I read some but not all, but it did make me feel better to read.
Stock picking on a budget. Great to have a minor account. Interface is hard to use first time. Application process hard to follow and long. Recommended to buy stocks for your kids though
So far, my new account has been "almost there" for about 8 hours. I'll be glad to change my rating if my account ever gets out of the blocks.
I liked it at first being able to quickly look up and chart a symbol, but aside from that not very intuitive. Can't figure out how to add a symbol to a group, delete a symbol, or when zooming in on a chart to today, it moves out of the window and can't scroll to it. I haven't tried to trade yet, and won't, due to all the negative experience posted.
Very glitchy and bare bones. I had issues when initially setting up the account, trying to add auto deposits, trying to make additional deposits, and received incorrect emails about having insufficient funds. They really have a lot of kinks that need to be worked out. Only using it because it seemed like a good way to get my kids started with investing, but I will likely switch to someone else.
Way too many problems! Everything I tried to do on the app would give me an error. Also kept having me sign up, even though I did three times! **UPDATE** I've uploaded my photo ID a week ago. Got an email, needed another photo, uploaded another one but still nothing. Are you just collecting information to sell to the highest bidder? It sure isn't being used to set up an account because I've been trying to set one up for almost a month now. I would like any of my info stored, deleted.
Switched to Fidelity It was on their description that they trade at 4pm which is expected, and I like the user friendliness of the whole app. But it is missing some important features such as being able to see the P/L easily and you cannot see how much percentage the stocks have changed. Also nowadays brokers have $0 fees, not stockpile. They charge $1 fee per transaction. Another thing, it takes forever to transfer money from bank to your account.
Every time I try to log in using Samsung pass I get "sorry, something went wrong. Please try again later." For going app only, this is terribly handled as I have an easier time logging in by clicking on the e-mail links that open the app than going right through the app which is frustrating and just makes the switch to app only for proper stock related things look rushed at best.
