StockTwits - Stock Market Chat

I love ST. I've been an active member for almost two years. A month or so ago, the app became unstable on my droid. Freezing and closing out within seconds of opening. Sometimes it will let me stay on for a few minutes. I deleted the app and reinstalled. Now it's even worse. It stays open for seconds. I can't search anything or scroll without it freezing. It's unusable for me now. I see others are having the same issues. Please don't respond with a contact for more info. I've explained it.

Sooo many bugs in this new version and now you can't just search for a ticker and click it. You have to go through your huge list. Very annoying. Think it's time to get rid of this garbage. Seems useless now that they updated it

This app used to be helpful. Now it has issues opening a page and is super slow. 80% of the time i get "error recieving stock data" ...prior to the update it worked fine no issues... i used to use this app ALL THE TIME.... now its once everyother day IF it works

They keep changing the layout and with each iteration, they ruin the recipe. It was perfect in 2018 but has been slowly destroyed since. Today it won't even work after their update.

Apparently, the latest update that I received doesn't allow you to search for previous posts while inside the chat room of the Ticker you may be in at the time. Before, there was a magnifying glass located in the top left above the posts to quickly search your post history with. Well this be put back in place? I believe it's called Advanced Search

Edit: app is now unusable. Crashing constantly. Would like to rate higher but consistently having issues with the app not responding to touch inputs. It also overheats my Galaxy S9 and is a HUGE battery drain.

It was working so well, not it doesn't even load properly. Don't know why they came out with this new update. Can't even find my old post on a specific ticker like before after this update. Could've kept it simple like before.

Dropping this to a 1 star this app will not stay open for any longer then a minute or two. Constantly crashing, never did this before. Will bring the rating back once updates happen to fix the issue.

Please improve the functionality and look of the GUI. Using Webull as a template would be a great start. App crashes often, buttons disappear etc and etc

Decent app but lately it forgets my pause/live feed preference each time I open a ticker. It used to remember. Kind of annoying.

Absolutely unusable, the app glitches and freezes before auto closing. Horrible!!! ZERO.... Unfortunate it makes you give them a 1. It used to work fine.

Very difficult to use this app. All the bit.ly links shared on telegram or Instagram just open the app and not on the specific screen. I don't know how to follow people. This app has worst user experience.

If you want to buy crypto with high fees and not be able to transfer it to a secure wallet, coinbase is the dumpster you want to climb into. Absolute trash. Good luck.

App crashes within 5 seconds of opening. Used to work fine. Whoever did the last update should be fired.

App will not stay open in Android platform for more than 30 sec. Problems appear to start when ads or gifs appear with a post.

The charts could be better but overall im pleased with it. I use it daily. It has a lot of volume.

Same review many many months later... Block feature doesn't always work. Dark mode hardly works. App could be so much better. Give me tabs for things I own, things might I want to own. One I could use just for pennies. And so on... Ability to then sort by various features. Don't see the point of paying when it can't work right for free. Give me incentive or a reason to contribute.

Uses a TON of mobile data. Gigs! STILL doesn't rotate orientation to landscape or even 180 vertical. Seems like a basic function any app should do... Also can't stay in dark mode. Switches back to normal randomly.

decent app, I dont like to complain about apps that are free to use. The only thing that can be a problem is the watchlist. It doesn't save your custom sort. 3/30/22, after using it for several months, I stopped using it and uninstalled. Its performance is not consistent, it is laggy and will close itself. Technically, there are other apps out there that have more features and stable. It is mainly a social media app. Though its quite entertaining to read posts between bears and bulls.

ads are getting worse, playing sound when I'm working and trading. I love the community and the watch list. I don't like the new version since it makes the watch list useless.

Worked excellent until the recent update. Now it force closes and crashes every 20 seconds.

App keeps freezing on open, or go into a chat and doesn't load. Update so far so good after the big got fixed

Dark Mode isn't working anymore With the newest patch i can't use my phone's (xiaomi) dark mode anymore. The native dark mode of stocktwits is extremely ugly, my phone was doing a much better job at creating a dark mode from the light mode. Please enable that we can use our phone's dark mode again.

I finally created an account with my desktop computer. However, I downloaded the stocktwits mobile app from the Google play store and it won't accept my log in information. I enter the correct username and password but I keep getting error messages. Maybe it's because I have to select those images with a traffic lights or mountains. The mobile app doesn't show these images. But the computer does. Very annoying.

Notifications never work. Have to have an iPhone to get alerts. Garbage.

Sometime when i login into my stockwitz account..everything will just go blanks.and wen i logout and try to login it will jst be displayin login failed why??
