Stop Call Me - Call Blocker

Okay, I just started using this app and right now I have any choice but to give it five stars. Reason, it's working. It's that simple. All you have to do is have it block all calls that aren't on your contact list, and you're done. And you can blacklist crazy calls. This app unlike others, I've used doesn't need to be the default app for calls. My new phone, the Motorola One 5G won't allow third party apps to be the default call app, like many apps require to work properly.

For the last several weeks I have been getting a dozen or more spam Medicare calls every day. They come from seemingly random numbers. I tried Verizon's Call Filter both free and paid versions but it blocked less than half of these calls. Stop Calling Me had the feature I wanted which was to send any number that was not in my contact list to voice-mail. I ended up buying the Pro version because it was not very expensive but the free version worked just as well.

Works great! I actually upgraded to pro. Kept getting alot of weird calls and this allows me to block every one except contacts. Or, if I want to set up a certain way I can. Recommendation: block entire area codes/prefixes and to stop all the 3rd party trackers like fb in your app. Duck duck go tracker blocker showed just how many is in this app and details. It's like this in the paid version. It's none of their business and your paid customers should not be subject to that. 2 stars bc of that.

When this app is running, it does kill unwanted calls. Although I did disable battery optimization for this app, it still periodically stops running. The FAQs are a great feature but not up to date. The Samsung-specific advice in the FAQ is old. Android 12 on my S21 does not have any of the same Android settings terminology. I'd like to pay the one-time cost for the ad-free version but I want to see this app become more stable in a future version. My rating will go up when/if that happens.

I'm still having issues with masked & blacklist calls going to vm when they should be rejected. FAQ says this: "Add application to whitelist for all accelerators, cleaners and memory optimizers using on your device. We strongly don't recommend to use any kind of accelerators, optimizers & memory cleaners. Cause they are completely useless on modern versions of Android." WTH does that mean? The answer they give isn't recommended? It's the only complaint I have, it would be 5 star if not for that

Most aggravating app on Google Play. Nothing but ads. I can't believe apps like this are even allowed. You can't even go into settings without them forcing you to watch more ads. Don't waste your time. Unless you have plenty of time to watch ads.

Can't believe how well this works! I was getting dozens of spam calls everyday after I stupidly signed up on several job seeker websites without reading the fine print. They basically were just there to sell my info so that I would be bombarded with unwanted calls and texts. I would block one number and they would just call me from another. I haven't gotten even ONE spam call or text since I downloaded this app yesterday morning. Usually I would have more than 20 by now. Highly impressed!

Too good to be true... perfectly works in my smartphone and blocks unnecessary calls. The best part is the level of customization this app offers to set block call options. Giving a 5 star in the first day of use only. Kudos to the development team.

It would "stop" and a few calls would get through before the last update but hasn't since. If anything changes I will update. Working great ATM. 3/12/22 Update....still has issues, constantly unloading from memory and with the last update, once I turned off notifications it won't even stay loaded.

Receive crazy number of spam calls a day. This is perfect for me . I block ALL calls except my contacts. Can be exasperating if I've made appointments and have not added their number yet to contacts. Definitely worth it to me though. Best I've tried so far!

When I 1st started using this app, it was great. Then in the last month it keeps shutting itself off and allowing calls to come thru. Now, all of a sudden it's just stopped working daily multiple times a day.

Works pretty well and better than others I have tried. Dont think any of them will ever be a 5 for me. Wish it could block spam text messages based on part of the text and not just the number since spammers buy huge pools of numbers. Text is how they are now getting around these apps.

A great app but you have to enter each spam number yourself. It doesn't find spam for you. Problem is, you enter a spam number and blocking it doesn't stop them from spamming you on the thousands of their other numbers. Too bad it doesn't stop the COMPANY from calling instead of their many phone numbers These blockers block all the wrong ways. The number you block will be blocked but they don't care, they'll get you on their other numbers. Bummer! It stopped working!!!

The application works great. To enhance I wish it could block any numbers calling from a specific area code. It would greatly help with the spam calls as they keep rejuvenating their number but with the same area code.

Update 4-28-22. I have not had one call. But i also jave not got a call from my dr. So i put them in my contacts. right now my stress level is way netter as i was getting calls every 10-15 minutes from a persistent 309-400 number that kept changing the last 4 numbers. So that has stopped and im going 3 stars and will update tommorrow. The only thing i can do is click: block all calls except contacts. Otherwise all the 309-400-**** numbers call me every 15 minutes. I tho

I like this app. This is by far the best app I had. My phone does not ring it catches the calls I do not want, it catches all my scam calls I like this app a lot. Thanks to the developer who made this app. It rings and it says scam likely 😒 🙄 and I have to go into the app and block 🚫 it as white list or black list w/e that supposed to mean. But I block it.

This app keeps dumping the memory by itself. It doesn't work with Bluetooth devices either. All spam calls get through. I emailed them to inquire about the issues and they said they would check it and get back to me. That was months Ago. Stop calling me is the wrong name for this app..... because "they" keep calling me and getting through! Delete delete!!!!!!!!!!

This app is great, I was paying 4.00 a month through my cell company and they didn't block anything, I think I got more calls with it. My calls have slowed down to 1 or 2 a day and they get blocked. It is great

I was getting spam scam thank you ma'ame calls every few minutes. Now if I don't know you.. I'll keep it that way. No name doesn't come thru anymore. If you're not one of my known contacts, not on my contact list.. this blocker bouncer takes care of them... bye bye spammers. Thank you for my peace!!

No complaints so far. I haven't had a single reminder about my car's warranty expiring or had to tell someone to stop calling because I'm not interested in whatever they're trying to sell me. Update: I'm getting a lot of calls from Medicare Advantage. They must have figured out how to get around the app.

Apps still works great! If not better! Have peace of mind nit getting calls when I'm at my busiest and hands full. Great app. Have recommended to all my contacts.

This app is amazing just set it to send all calls from numbers that weren't on my contact list and I haven't had to deal with one telesales call or anything else like that I only talk to the people I know and want to talk to now!!!!!

This app is good because it works, but sometimes it disappears and the disturbing calls starts to flock in. Thats why iam giving you 4 stars, work on the problem to get 5 stars.

I live this app. I only get calls from my contact list. You will get messages if you have your voice mail set up because spammers have a program that will send them directly to your VM. When I got a new phone I didn't set it up. Never have seen an ad in this program.

this used to work perfectly but recently the last month or so i have been getting tons of scam calls not in my contact list despite my settings being so everything but my contacts is denied. not sure why its stopped working but guess i need to find a new app

Very good app. Serving the purpose satisfactorily. Excellent performance. My experience with this app is very nice. I recommend my friends to use this app. Very useful to me. I feel very comfortable because this app protected me from annoying calls. Thanks a lot ☺️☺️

I never give t stars as nothing is perfect, however this app deserves 4.5. One of the reasons are that I had a Q and within 15min the dev emailed my back with a detailed explanation. I use a Pixel 6 and the app works perfectly. SUPPORT THIS DEV!

Works great. Unfortunately I have to disable during my work hours because it blocks some of the people in my whitelist and I cannot figure out why. But as soon as I reenable I'm well protected.
