Stop Motion Studio Pro

Works great for LEGO, but keep in mind that the camera settings change depending on the type of camera you have. Its nearly perfect, but the video get choppier and choppier if you have a lot of frames in the project, but thankfully it goes back to normal afterward, but I would wish that it didn't get choppy, It makes it hard to ease in and out.

A great app overall, but it does come with it's various problems. But the thing that I dislike the most about it, is that you cannot export singular frames to your device. This is a feature I would *love* to see, and since I want to upload my frames to another device, this is an extreme problem.

I would really like to see the ability to pre-set the image capture dimensions or ratio (eg 1:1, 4:5, 16:9, 9:16) and orientation (ie portrait, not just landscape). Using the editor to rotate and pan every image is arduous. My daughter used Stop Motion Studio Pro for a school assignment and did well. (Except the teacher said she couldn't use some of the Pro features because that would be unfair for the students using the base version. *ugh*)

I was amazed at how easy and intuitive this app was to use. I got great results making and playing a short video. I played around with green screen. So far, so good. Then I made a storyboard video for a longer project. It was the first time that I: used cut and copy, rearranged images, and imported images both as frames and as a background for green screen. Now I can't render the video for watching and, if I make a new video, it acts the same. Old videos still work. No help from restarting phone

This is a great stopmotion app! As usual with any app, I have some problems. First, I use this to make all my YouTube lego stopmotions (LegoCityFilms), and it's great. There's not too many updates though, and when there are, they aren't very app changing. It's mostly just stability. If you put audio too close together, it cuts out and it's quite annoying. Also, if you make a video long then 5 minutes, the preview lags heavily, and I have to export to other apps just to see the finished product.

I just downloaded this app and almost everything seems fine. The three stars hopefully will get the developer's attention as, on a 10" tablet, the 3 or 4 on-screen control buttons are halfway off-screen. They are still usable but it seems unprofessional. I'll be back when I use the app more or when the buttons are fixed. (R.E.Harris) Later: Look! The buttons are fixed! A developer that puts his effort where his pride is. So I bumped the review from 3 stars to 5.

Definitely worth the $5. I use it to make movies for school, or just for fun. You can edit your frames in any way imaginable, plus there's a green screen feature so that you don't have to waste time on backgrounds. You can also turn down the green screen sensitivity, so that it doesn't block out everything. Plus you can add your own pictures, audio, and backgrounds, and save your movie to Google Drive or to downloads. If you're looking for the perfect studio, then stop looking. You found it.

The update was nice, but something that I noticed was that the sound effects were not syncing up with the actual footage. It would always come a second or more too late. I hope it can be fixes because I need to start uploading my races soon. other than that, I love the features and it is a great app for people who want to get into stop motion.

Excellent Stopmotion App. I however have a few suggestions that I was wondering if you folks could implement: 1) Have a "Go to last frame" option in preview. When you have more than 1000 frames of footage, continuously scrolling sideways till the last frame is a problem. 2) Include an option to preview the last 3 captured photos in 'camera'. Onion skinning doesn't show you the earlier lighting, only previous actions. The play button plays the video too fast to help. Otherwise, great job guys!

This app was amazing. When it would work. I've run into a bug, the app for some reason will not let me watch my movie while in the editor screen. The app will repeatedly flash the loading bar for a long time. The same bug occurs when I try to edit audio. I've noticed that others have had this issue. But other than that bug, this app is absolutely amazing. Please fix this bug as soon as possible.

Great App, works well and has some cool features. Bug that I have found in latest version: While using manual camera settings if you click out of the app to change music for instance, once you return to the app to continue it resets all your camera settings. Quite frustrating but I know now to not do anything else with my phone until I am done with my project. You could also write your camera settings down in case it happens.

I LOVE this app! at first i got the free version and i it was pretty good, but I wanted to have all all of the features so i got pro and it is the best! the green screen is also a good feature. I use legos to make movies and short videos and it is SO much fun, but there are a few bugs that need fixed, i would have done 5 star if they where fixed, if you use erase or edit a lot it will say "unfortunately stop motion studio has stopped, please open again" if you fix this i will change to 5 star

Great app with so many great features. Unfortunately it's not as good for android. Sometimes my videos have a delay and I'm unable to sync the audio with the video. Also there's no audio fade option on android. I really hope they can fix these bugs and give us an update soon. I worked 2 weeks on 1 project and it was all for nothing because of the lagging on my note 9. Please fix this

This has to be the app that I spend the most time on. it's so great and so much fun to be able to make any story come to life and have so many different tools within a few movements of a finger. Great app everyone. I would ask if one day The ability to color drop from your current picture when drawing on any individual frame so maybe you can match the exact color of a character's face and draw what you want more precisely with exact colors since it can be hard to match.

This is the best stop motion app for mobile, no doubt about it. You can delete unused frames, copy and paste frames, use green/blue screen, add your own sound effects and music, add title cards, and (if you are willing to do a bit of fiddling) erase certain things out of individual frames, and that's not even scratching the surface of what you can do. It's practically limitless. If you want to make stop motion animations without having to spend too much money, this is the best way to go. 5/5 👍

Good app, nice interface, just two problems(that's why i gave it four stars). It has a problem with the layering, cause my cursor gets stuck in grabbing mode in all my apps, and I have to restart my chromebook to get it out. :/ Also, the manual focus on my chromebook doesn't work(is it just because i am using a chromebook?). Please fix this, because over all it is a very good app.

This is an exceptional app. I use it for my channel! It takes only like 10 minutes to upload, but it always lags in the first part and it takes more if I were to upload a longer stop motion. I also wish you could add colored text! Overall pretty good, but the one annoying bug is when I try to play the stop motion or audio and it just flashes the loading bar. Overall 4/5 great app!

It's great! Ive been using this app for years and the tools used for animating are increadible. However, I wish there was a blur effect you could put in during post. Motion blur is what makes certain styles of animation come to life. If you guys could add a blur setting in the editing section, that would be fantastic!

This app is really good for stopmotion bit it has a few bugs. For example some of my audio files don't show up in the sfx library. No matter how many times I redownload them it convert them to different formats they just don't show up. Other than that everything works just fine.

Everything is great(for me), except the things below. Problems: 1) There should be a "Save settings"option. I had to take my stop motions in different chunks and everytime i locked my phone (not power off) the settings i had chosen for my camera would be set back to the default one and i would have to set it back myself, manualy. 2) The white balence must be kept the same. It kept going changing from normal to yellow in a scene. 3) When a connect a bluetooth device, it goes to the preview page.

this would be a good app if you could export your files easily.i have tried literally a dozen times per animation video to do a simple export as an mp4 file. half of the time it takes 3-7 tries, half of those time the movie never works. I've tried exporting it via email, dropbox, and directly as a download to my phone. Terrible. the short films are for a school project and now the project wont be finished.

Very disappointing, and oh so promising. Everything is absolutely perfect except for when I tap on a specific slide for editing, the new edited frame then shrinks to a much, much smaller size than the rest of the slide show and ruins any fluid animation every time. Customer support was also very promising after I contacted them with this issue, but were also very disappointing because they were unable to figure out the root cause. This is a common glitch that badly needs fixing. What a bummer!

This application is ok, but it is very limiting. Sometimes, audio will just cut out for a split second at random, and there's nothing I can do to fix it except to redo the audio. That and the sounds here get very compressed for whatever reason. Does an ok job for what it's worth, but otherwise it's an "ok" application from me.

This app is good and is handy in creating stop motion, however, it irritates me a lot because whenever I use the eraser tool, after using for it for a few frames the app has an error in the middle of erasing and that frame gets darker. This is extremely irritating. The free version doesn't have these kinds of errors, so why should the one people have to pay for do this? Fix!!!!

This is the best stop motion app I've ever seen. Runs smoothly, but be careful to download stuff off of the app and delete the copy on the app to keep it that way. The interface is smooth on tablets and phones, so no worries about that. Again; one of the most useful stop motion apps ever.

This app made making stop motions super easy but recently I haven't been able to add audio or play my movie because the loading bar appears and doesn't load and my screen glitches out until I close that project all the other projects are fine and after uploading the unfinished project to YouTube and watching it I found that it was just fine on YouTube so that means that it's the app that is having problems. I restarted several times and it still didn't work. Would be 5 stars. Please fix.

Before the update I would've put 4 star but the drawing thing is broken now, so I can't make my videos to the standard I would like. It's stuck at 30 opacity. Otherwise a really good app, but the update deleted another thing I needed. The thing I would like added the most is more sounds. I would love a more cackling sound. And laughing. Stuff like that. I'd also like more stuff for the foreground.
