I like this app for the good audios, articles, diary and mood log. I appreciate that the logs are customizable, though I'm still learning how to use the features. There are so many options it's overwhelming at times. Ex: there is a list of healthy activities you can check off. But the things they refer to are not all ready to find, such as listening to a particular audio or reading a certain article in app. This could be solved by adding links where each is mentioned.
I really like what this app has too offer. I have only used it twice sso far, and both times my emotional intensity went down. The second time it has stayed down. I'm just confused as how to use the app on the calendar date shown. But with help, I'll figure it out. You've done a super job putting together this app.
I just downloaded the app and haven't had a chance to use it, but what stands out immediately is that an anti-anxiety app should perhaps try for a bit calmer, simpler look. The font and colours are actually making me anxious. I'll still give it a shot, but a more minimal look would go far in improving user experience.
I have experienced real support from this app, when caught up in anxiety in middle of the night, as well as relaxing before going to sleep. Therefore very disappointed that it does not work anymore on my new phone...
I want to thank all who brought up this app and to the therapist i want to say thanks, when i downloaded this new update i was not very happy cause some things were resturctured and i couldn't cont. from where i stopped in the past, but i have realized all i needed was time, I'm now getting used to it everyday, and it's even more easier and better to use, the new features are nothing short of amazing, and the audios can be downloaded for offline, words are not enough to say how thankful i am.
This is a helpful app. However, when I included my own personal message to be displayed, the app removed it after a few days or so. The developers of this app shouldn't offer that feature if the messages are just going to be deleted.
Love this app's meditation audio files (MP3s are also available from the site directly). The educational info is extensive and well written. I wish I could figure how to create theme-based playlists to zone out listening upon waking and at bedtime till I've finally created the me I want to be. This is one of the best value-based apps in this category if not THE BEST. Other apps force pay walls before delivering value. This one first delivers value then allows for voluntary donations. Get it!
Will not operate. The app opens but no matter what I tap on, nothing happens. Chrckrd if it needs an update but doesnt. Really need the Stop anxiety now section and I am tapping on it like a hammer... the irony, creating more anxiety
Surprised it suddenly got a recent update. I thought this was forgotten completely. The panic assistance audio helped me so much for years and years now whenever I start panicking.
I've been using this app for years. I've recently been looking for similar apps, but there honestly don't seem to be many. I just keep coming back. I'm on a super tight budget, so I can't afford even the cheap meditation apps, and this one has always helped me out. That's why it's 2:30 in the morning and I'm downloading it on my new phone.
This app has saved me from terrible period in my life. My anxiety was so bad I was afraid to go to sleep, so I wasn't sleeping much for 2 months and I didn't know what's happening with me. I had never experienced anxiety before in my life, so I didn't know what is it, I was really freaked out. And freaking out was creating even more panic and anxiety. Information on this app was incredibly useful for me. I think this app is one of the main reasons I can live a happy life now. Thank you!
This app is exceptional for anxiety, depression, and panic. It has helped me through difficult life challenges. It contains a wealth of knowledge that Dr Frank generously and kindly offers us without charge. Amazing!
I have anxiety and depression real bad, it's gotten worse than before. So far this and several apps similar have been a huge help in coping with me and my life. Thank you for not charging me yet. When money is tight your app has been a huge shoulder I need right now.
Thank you so much for creating this app, and making it free. My son has autism and I've been using it on his hard days to help him relax. Today I felt like there was a breakthrough as he's having a difficult day and said, "can we do the relax thing? The bubble one?" I really appreciate having this resource for him (and me).
I don't ussually like diary writing but because of the app being a diary on phone makes it much more practical, I enjoy the stress counter ,thoughts and all the other extra added realistic ratings.
So far so good. Just got it. Tried to set up a password it asked for security question, two of them asked for a numeric answer. But I kept getting a pop up that says I need at least 6 characters. Maybe something to look at.
I just downloaded it and did a few tests, looked at the audios and videos available and filled in some diary entries. I feel calmer within 20 mins use and it actually helped. It distracted me well and I'm hoping I can develop healthy habits if I can use this app daily. Sometimes I feel like some self help apps are cringy and feel forced. But this was really natural and felt theraputic and empowering to use. Hoping to make it part of my regular routine.
