Hypnosis is a natural state in which everyone moves in and out of every day. We experience hypnosis when day-dreaming or when we have our attention intensely focused on something of interest. In this altered state of awareness, our unconscious mind is more open and receptive to ideas and suggestion.

By using hypnosis, we can present information to our unconscious mind to bring about the changes we desire. It may be that the unconscious mind is viewing certain situations from a flawed perspective, which means that it is influencing our bodies' responses in a negative way, e.g. we feel anxious and afraid of something which is really not all that threatening (phobias and fears). In hypnosis, we can correct those flawed perceptions which, in turn, will result in the unconscious mind changing the way it influences our feelings and our physical responses. We can also present information to the unconscious mind about positive things we want to experience, e.g. feeling more confident in a certain situation and performing better. Our unconscious mind cannot distinguish between what is real and what is imaginary. When we use the power of hypnosis to present information to the unconscious mind in our imagination, our unconscious can accept that as real and will then go on to respond to that new information. It is important to know that the more you believe in the power of your mind to bring about what you want, and the more you commit to focusing your attention on what you want, the better the results will be. One session of hypnotic suggestions will not bring about much change at all. However, repeated suggestions in line with your goals and a strong focus on the outcomes you really want will help you to make these a reality.

While I haven't completely quit, I can tell that this app is helping. I feel so amazing while I'm under and refreshed when I wake up. I've smoked my last pack but I don't have cravings or withdrawals. I'll think about smoking then my attention gets drawn to something else. Just as she said "a passing fancy". I love this app. This will be my 4th time listening to it and I'm hoping it will crush those lingering feelings.

I desperately need to stop smoking. I am 57 years old and have tried countless times to guit before. I get goosebumps while listening to this women talk because it really feels like something wonderful is changing inside of me. Unfortunately I was raised in a Scottish Canadian household so her voice on this is not soothing to me. It's sounds more like my mother nagging me to quit smoking! Also she goes on to long about getting your body to relax, my body was relaxed within the first 5 minutes but my mind was getting quite agitated.

I am a very anxious person by nature and find it very hard to relax..especially my neck and shoulders. I actually found some way thru that my body actually felt completely relaxed. When she told me to let my mind wander..I instantly was thinking of my wedding and actually had a tear fall down my face. But at the end I was so relaxed and came out of this session with my body feeling deeply relaxed in my bed. Will try again tonight and see how it goes..wish me luck guys..my health is fading fast at 33

It was kind of funny at first because every time I thought about smoking I would have to take a very deep breath and then I realized it was from the hypnosis so now everytime I talk about smoking think about smoking or see someone smoking I take a very deep breath and then I feel better kind of funny. I know when it's time to do it again so it really does work if you want it to but it doesn't mean you won't think about smoking but you will take a deep breath and then it won't seem so important anymore

Used this to help me quit years ago.. and it certainly helped. I've relapsed of late and so gave this another go this morning and am feeling positive already. It's not 100% fix.. it on you to want to stop and have the will power to do so, but trust me this helps. Love her voice too! Totally relaxing.

I dont often do reviews but on the occasion i feel that i should, i downloaded this app in hope it would help as ive tried a variety of quit smoking methods that work to a degree. The problem ive found in the past is giving in to the craving. I listed to this app once which was 9days ago and since then ive not touched a cig or craved one, im surrounded by smokers and yet i have no need for one. Since 9 Feb 2015: 8 days smoke free, 211 down, £20.04 (i smoked roll ups)

Tried this earlier and was soon very very relaxed then all of a sudden I hear 'and open your eyes' and I'm awake!! I have no idea what happened in between but I got up really refreshed and chilled out. Definitely 5 stars if I now stop smoking (I don't want one at the moment)

Giving it 3 before I try it based obi that comments from everyone. Regardless of the feed back score. I'm more concerned with all the positivity from the multiple users. Definitely if it works inbox ANY-WAY, I will come back and up my star rating. Going in the bandwagon with this one and that is something which I usually do not do. Maybe its a coincidence, but i smoked my last smoke on the way to work on Oct 21 (more than two months ago) and didnt feel like stopping so i didnt. A little struggle but not like before. One month later i was pregnant, we lost the baby recently and i TRIED to smoke....i WANTED to smoke. I took a few puffs but was really not what i wanted. I would have started smoking again for sure i thought! Good luck. Hope you have positive results like i did....for whatever reason!

I am 55 years old smoked since I was 16. I loved the soothing sound of this woman's voice. I have no desire to smoke at the moment. I was totally relaxed by this audio. I'm a skeptic at most things. I shall see if when I take a deep breath the urge to smoke goes away. Hey anything to help me quit this smelly dirty expensive harmful habit..as she says. I will increase the star if this works out!

I felt a mix between sleep and awake. So weird but awesome. Kinda want a cig but also feel like I don't have to smoke one. I'm going to make a point of listening to this daily. Repetition does wonders even if hypnosis doesn't!

Was unsure but gave this a try. Haven't had a smoke in 36hours longest time ive without a smoke in 20 years. Hopefully off for good.
