Pretty effing good! I will definitely recommend this game to my friends later, this has made quarantine MUCH easier to bare, thank you for this! My only suggested improvement would be to add some more slice of life stories. I personally prefer the stories as they are, but i do know of some who may prefer ones that are focused on emotions and situations that anyone could experience. Be warned: making a story like this without making it boring while making sure it's not raunchy is a delicate task!
I really enjoyed the experience. The stories are well written in that they are very engaging. The only thing I have an issue with is there are a lot of grammar mistakes or words are used for things that normally we wouldn't use or things arent plural when they should be. After a while you get pretty used to is though. I really like the artwork and I REALLY appreciate that the ads are only between chapters
Question, will there will be more seasons of Escape from Paradise? It is my favorite story on the app and one of my favorites all time. I feel like the ending from the second season could be expanded into a third season. It got me super engaged in that story. I've been engaged on the app for a year now, it is better than many others in my opinion. Some big choices require diamonds, but there are alternate choices with similar affects. Plus, you can get at the least 8 diamonds a day. Geat work!
The storylines are awesome (although a bit of character development would improve the reading experience massively in my opinion), but the grammar and spelling mistakes! My eyes, but firstly my brain has been traumatised, and that's the only reason why I'm deleting the app. Guys, I have a strong feeling that you are Russian (as am I too and I've recognised some expressions and sayings that are very common in Russian, but not in English). Which is a shame, because the stories are really good...
Overall the game is great. Stories are well written, art style is nice. My main gripe is that you cant individually restart a episode/chapter unless you finish the whole story first or the progress all series reset. Theres been moments where one of my pets interupted me and i accedently hit a choice i really didn't want. Other than that and the 2 ticket limit i love this game and look forward for more content.
It's really a great game. I just started, and it feels so real. My adrenaline is pumping at every choice that I've got to make. Especially when there's a suspense to the story and music goes pretty well together .😁 The thing I've noticed is that, there's few story to choose from. If u could make more. And the ticket takes an hour in order to gain the next one. Way too excited to wait for an hour. But that's the point of the game. Beside that, I personally see nothing wrong, in case I spot one.
Really fun game where you make the choices and can really enjoy one of the stories if you always wondered what it would be like to be stranded with others and a voice in your head that drives you nuts. I am logged into Google Play Games but after I finished Escape From Paradise it started kicking me out of the app so I reinstalled it and had to start from the beginning again. And I am unable to purchase some gem packs as well, it will kick me out of the game for trying to purchase gems. Also when a game loads sometimes my home screen on my phone shows instead of the game in the game window. Also think I subscribed to a VIP or something like that and it disappeared.
At the beginning I incountred a bug, the game skipped a chapter. But then I reset my progress and played again. I must admit that I did the right choice by continuing on playing it. The stories are amazing. Every choice you made does impact the ending. And the game offers alot of gems for daily log-in. Of course you can pay for it if you can't wait to see your outcome( I really don't blame you). And more importantly, its frequently being updated and it gets new chapters. Absolute love it. 💛🧡❤️
The game is an absolute blast! I'm currently on the 3rd chapter of Curse of Sullenwood and it feels so real, like it's a movie and I'm actually part of the story. The way you have options to choose your destiny is cool and that ads only appear after you finished a chapter is good. The only issue I have though is the grammar, I think you guys need to hire a professional English writer. Seeing how ambitious the developers are with these stories, I would love to help improve the grammar.
I do like the stories so far, (even though they do lack in option. And a ww2, ww1, or anything like that would be nice.) but I do feel the interactions could be better. The writing is not that good and I feel as if im being forced to like certain caracters and it comes off bad (even for my own character.) Add more emotion and build the relationship between player and character, and character and character better to give the sympathy a good story goes off of. Other than that, good game.
The graphics and the choices from the game is actually good! I also greatly suggested to give yhe characters more shadow in their edges just like humans. But overall, it's good!This is clearly a hardwork and i praised all of you for doing this. I've been into these kind of stuffs and this one helped me for a boring day! I would also recommend more background musics ( actually, i only played the jungle )
So just my progress was reset which is ok because I can change things up. I'm very glad because I actually really enjoy this game and it's stories. I waited 13 days for the new ninja chapter and even though I have to restart is not a big deal. It does get to the point to where you have to decide to pay for tickets/diamonds, wait an incredibly long time for videos to be available or play through again to make the next choices but still a great game
Really good stories, like how they branch out and they even have really good consequences. Could you also please add a feature which allows you to repeat a chapter, just to see how differently it would turn out and can you please put the "This choice will affect the story" notification before the choices and not after, it really is kinda hard to know which choices i should be careful about.
I have to say that I love games like this and I enjoy learning about different stories, however one HUGE problem I have is that you cannot reset chapters or whole books, once you start you can only reset your whole progress which gets very annoying when you make too many 'bad' choices and dont get enough clues/power to make better decisons.
I had finished one of the stories, after closing the app and getting back on it the next day it has been loading forever not even for a storie. It is stuck loading on the initial loading screen, the longest I've waited is 1 hr that is without my phone closing down or losing internet connection. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling twice now and it hasn't worked i have also tried restarting my phone which had no effect either.
Their response to another review was that if you stay down one side, you can make choices, but I call BS on that. Some choices arent clear what side it would be (good/bad) and even with hardly any bad points towards the final chapter, I was still WAY OFF having enough "good" points to do anything with those choices. Not fun at all just wading through a story like that
The app is ok so far. I'm used to the Choices app so this one feels like an independent startup in a lot of ways. Some positives about the app: more opportunities for free diamonds, less diamonds needed, and the majority of stories aren't gender-locked. Some negatives about the app that need fixing: the language barrier isn't bad but the writing style is erratic as in characters behave erratically. And we need a restart chapter function, as the only way to restart is to delete all app data
Great story app, the earlier stories have bad grammar but Ive looked past it, you can choose to be good or evil in stories, etc. Biggest issues with the app are the options (like some dialogue options) are not very clear about what they mean (for example "shooting after someone" literally means SHOOT at them instead of like running after them.), once you choose to be good or evil, YouHaveToKeepChoosingThatSide,OtherwiseYouDontHaveEnoughPointsToContinueTheStoryProperlyAndYouAreForcedToSitAndWatch
I'm going to edit my response. Upon learning the creators are not natively English, sure, it's not bad. But unfortunately I still find the core of the stories, the scenes that should pull you in, very lack luster. I have zero connection or really care about any of the characters. Started two stories and didn't find the characters interesting. So upped from two to three stars. They created a game, which I can't and they actually made it work. So kudos for that. But the stories need work.
Monetization is obnoxious. The game uses a ticket system, where one ticket lets you play one chapter of 10 minutes max. With patience, you can grind these, but you still have to sit through an advert unless you buy pricy premium (without unlimited play). The problem is, you can only replay a decision by completely resetting every story and throwing away every ticket you've spent. It should be possible to go back to start of any chapter already played for the standard ticket fee. Don't mess up!
This game has a lot of potential and I do enjoy it. My issue is that the dialogue is not translated properly and the characters' behavior is a bit odd but I think that's because of miscommunication. I think the devs should prioritize fluent translators so the dialogue makes more sense. Everything else is okay. Another thing is there's not that many stories but I'm sure it's in the works. Keep up the good work and keep improving.
It was great, Stuck Souls is definitely my favorite and I think it needs another part. The annoying thing is that I can't individually restart a story. I'll do something by mistake and lose my progress in the other stories I was playing because I have to restart everything. I want to restart the timeline but for only 1 book! Not the entirety of the app! Definitely needs more stories, and a little touch up with the dialogue cause some of it sounds awkward and weird. Other than those, app was👌
