While good for keeping tabs on CNY's weather, the app can occasionally suffer from crashing issues whenever you try to boot it up.

great app! loads fast and I love the radar options. ads are less intrusive than other apps.

I've used and liked the app for years, but this last update is horrible. I've yet to be able to see correct live radar since it was updated. The ads are intrusive and difficult to close. It's barely worth opening at this point.

Hate the new update. I work outside. Would depend on this app on a daily basis. Since the update, it has become unreliable. The precip predictions and descriptions are always way off now like it's an algorithm making the predictions and not meteorologist. Unfortunate and disappointing

the latest update is really bad. It makes you sit through a landing screen /advertisement for the channel, and the interactive radar is really cluttered and annoying looking now. Absolutely terrible when all I want to do is quickly check the doppler.

tried this app a year ago.. and today. no improvement. Full of banner ads and popups... too many menus and links and the smallest map area ... like two postage stamp size. Accuweather not much bigger, TWC has better hourly info but the best map is myradar...BIG map, ez scroll n zoom.. one banner ad st the bottom only.

Your new update for weather totally stinks. by the time you bypass the first full page ad, click on the radar, nothing. You have to select live stream radar, wait through 2 commercials, then wait for the love stream to download. Then it showed nothing for rain. Well, it was raining hard. I had to go onto the main website to find streaming lake effect coming off the lake. Myradar from now on, removing this app.

Very good app! Accurate, easy to use and good features. I just wish the widget would include the high forecasted temperature for each of the 3 days.

very disappointed in the new update!!!!! it has excluded all my devices that i'm used to depending on. as an emergency services towing provider this WAS a very important and usefull tool to me, now it is USELESS!!!!!! to be able to submit this reveiw i am FORCED to leave a one star review. the review i would leave if i had my choice? would be the same as how much use this app now is to me a big fat 0

Slower response. More moves to get to the "old" result. Not getting the "LIVE" forcast for the area, etc., etc. NOT a good update for the everyday user.

Why no loop radar of where weather has been and where its headed? Gives u a view of where it is now and I can look at the radar and see its precipitating, but i can also look outside and tell the same damn thing. No help in that aspect at all. After reading some other reviews, I def won't be updating to latest version. Sounds like you sold yourselves out for advertising revenue... Dolla dolla bill yall. Weak...

Not liking the new update. Cant get to own local weather. And also cant get a video of the actual weather reports that we used to see.

I love this app it's great when you miss the weather on tv. So I go to channel 9 app. Keep up the great job stay safe from this covid 19 an again thank you every one involved in this great app.

I've always trusted WSYR weather more than any other, local or not. This app is convenient and accurate and simple. What more could you ask for?

I liked the old ap better, easier to find extended forcast other maps, etc. I'd rather read than endure videos.

Miss seeing the news on here! Great if your a weather person though!! Love the traceability of the storms by the actual radar...

Very easy to motivate using this app. Easy to see, it's also very user friendly, thank you so much.

The app seems to freeze a lot since they changed it. Hopefully they are working out the kinks!

They do a great for our local news.

This should be a part of the main 9 app not separate. I already have so many competing for my app space why does channel 9 need 2?

More difficult to use and I lost my icon to access the app. Newer doesn't mean better.

Really solid app. There's no crazy ads and it's all weather. Must have if you live in CNY

Stops working every evening. Very disheartening. I remove the the app and reinstall.

This app is great, it gives you all the updated weather info that you need 24 hours a day.

Best 10 out of 10! Wish they would drive around and give more things away!😃😆😏
