Stormbound: Kingdom Wars

I really liked playing this game but once you finished story mode there isnt much you can do. Of course playing ranked is an option but playing a lot of ranked games becomes a bit boring and the rewards arent worth it. I really love the artstyle and gameplay I hope new interesting content (like events and new cards or more cpu fights. 2v2 fights could be fun too) will come in the game! I've been playing for one year plus. Every month there's a ranking classement battle, and every day there are tasks to accomplish to win rewards. Graphics are basic, small images, enjoying, a quick match to your level battle, but sometimes you encounter higher than you so you die ! overall not bad!

Edit: It was amazing, strategic, excellent graphic design, deep gameplay. Played for several years til recent "updates" made this an absolutely disappointing game experience. Sadly, card level caps in different leagues and punishing one-win-at-a-time advancement makes playing for pleasure a thing of the past. You've forced players to purchase vast amounts of cards just to get to make it to a league where you can actually use your upgraded cards! So disappointed to see this one go south. Bye!

The mechanics are great and I love the graphics. The servers are a bit of an issue as they regularly lag. In most games this is just an annoyance, but for this one it can sometimes mean the difference between winning it losing a match (turns are timed).

Been playing this game on and off for a few years now, and it just gets better. UI is smooth and minimalistic, gameplay is super fun and strategic, and I've very rarely waited more than ten seconds to find a match when I qeue. It's just all in all an amazing game that I would highly reccomend.

DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME if you don't intend to spend money. The game can be fun, but everything that involves progression is so garbage that I'd rather cut my fingers off. P2W, frustrating, waste of time. The developers barely value the players time, and think it's totally reasonable to make it take several hours to just get a handful of rewards.

Fun, great game, dragon decks are quite unbalanced but i assume thats the idea. Its quite difficult for a casual player like myself to climb the leader board as by the time i rank up the season resets and i have to start again. Went from gold to bronze and the climb takes too long, not to mention its unfair on the bronze and silver players as i crush them. Other than that i enjoy the game and its strategy and ive played for years.

Great game mechanics, idea, and art, but very pay to win. I've been playing since 2019, and even with my accumulated cards I find this game extremely unrewarding. Cards, especially legendaries in which are simply better than other similar cards, do not reward skill properly, rather a player's card level, in which simoly makes a card better for its mana cost. This discourages unique decks and playstyles, and I can't justify long-term play, as pay to win gets far, far worse with increasing rank.

Best strategy game I've ever played. It takes a LONG time to upgrade unless you drop cash but I think it's worth the wait. Sometimes you will play people who are SO overpowered that you can tell they just spent tons of money to do so. That part is annoying but it does give you good ideas for potential deck combinations. Anyway. I play this every day. It's like chess meets Yu-Gi-Oh.

See yaar. I have upgraded most of my cards to level 3 and one card to level 4 after a lot of hard and smart work. But all of this upgradation seems to be out of context once i enter the battle in ranked version. I dont know whether my deck gets upgraded in ranked version, but because of which im extremely disappointed that the coins which i hard earn are not useful for upgradation of cards in ranked. Highly regretting installing this app and having fun and highly fun turned into frustration. Hmm

Edit: lots of improvements lately, the major additions have smoothed out. Great game overall. Love this game, I've been playing it for about 5 months. However, recently they've been making a lot of updates and the server is very slow. At certain times it will be "loading" after you play a card, and doesn't load before your turn ends. This is INCREDIBLY frustrating and makes it nearly impossible to play a fair game. Until this is fixed I'd recommend a different game.

A rather well put together game. Includes upgrades, ranking and other aspects of gaming I enjoy, while also keeping the game continuously updating! Allows for a fun downtime in a meaningful game that helps you think critically. There are some technical issues to beware of. I continue to have problems with gameplay speed (despite 4G connection). Also have had some quirks where I already had 2 losses to start an event.

Love it. I absolutely love the rank system, it isn't challenging until it is, then you make new decks to counter strong decks and if you are struggling to get the right cards, you can save gems and get one of the better books. Dragons and felines are my favorite archetypes. They counter swarm and ironclad yet are beaten by certain cards like Klaxi from shadowfen. That's when you switch your style. 10/10 (except brawls, those have wacky matchmaking)

the state of the game is extremely watered down, I've spent literal years grinding my cards and deck into exactly how I wanted it but aside from brawls your cards' levels are pointless, in ranked (the only game mode where you can use a custom deck with no modifiers) your cards are stuck at level 2 to 3 until plat and anything there is stuck into the meta until you're pushed back down to gold and forced to use a lower level of deck, there's no free mode where you can use your deck to its fullest

Edit: thank you for adding the ability to purchase multiples in the shop! Great turn based strategy game with well balanced factions, cool mechanics, and elements of deck building. I have been looking for a game like this for a while! Best mobile game I've ever played.

I've been playing this game for 3 years now I can't wait for the 3 year anniversary for the game I do have some things I wanna say the game is great its fun amazing graphics and there's so many ways to play the game the brawls are pretty fun and the draft is different and enjoyable I do wish however that the cards in the game had there own unique 3D style alot of the cards have the same models and it gets pretty bland to look at so if they can change anything I would love to see that

A good deckbuilder game with some interesting depth. I don't know how balanced it is, but it's interesting, doesn't seem too buggy, and rewarding to perform most strats I've found. I don't know how I'm supposed to unlock more cards tho, that seems like a big deal

Ok, I've been playing this game for a few months now and I really love it. Put some time into making decks and spending some money, but now, I've noticed a pattern. You can only advance a little every week and then they begin to make it VERY difficult to increase rank because they put you up against much stronger opponents that have ridiculous card levels. I advise anybody that plays this that plans to spend money, it won't make a difference after awhile.

Well,the game its self is EPIC.its so goooood and fun to play with an awesome style but there is downside to it and thats how it matches you up with people,for I myself as an example its putting me against much stronger guys,in the brawl mode im always put against silver rank guys which basically are so strong although im just IRON 3 and in ranked if im IRON 5 for example i would be against IRON 2,for the rest the game is just awesome!!! So I have been playing this game since beta, and I have really enjoyed the game. It's good and would have recommended. But there are two problems 1 you can pay to win, and that can be frustrating to lose to a spam of ultra "rare" cards. 2 The game is no longer as balanced as it once was with only 4 factions. This is the thing I really hope gets fixed. I'm not asking to go back and not to make new cards. I'm asking not to have a two card combo that puts 5 lvl 6 troops, or 1 card board whipes.

Dear devs, after the last update I think I'm having serious technical problems. It's like the game is heavier. I may not have the best phone but I'm afraid it's more than this. Also after this season it seems like I got the cards but not the coins and rubies. Again it may be a problem with connection but I reinstalled the game and it still has those problems. Hope you check if I'm correct. Have a successful year!

It seems a lot of the issues in a previous version have been taken care of and its back in better shape than ever. My only problem currently is an occasional frozen ad and that some ads require you to hit play or a continue button, this is childish. I understand the need for ads but ones that I can at least turn away from and let play would be ideal

I really like this Game, it's super fun to play. However, it's full of bugs that make you lose - game freezing, loading too long my moves. Also, it's the second month in a row, when I didn't get my rang award, which is annoying. Would be great to actually be rewarded for the hard work and money spend :)

Very balanced and strategic game. My only criticism is that the leveling in the game is kind of cheap. It makes the game go from a completely skill based game to who has higher upgraded cards. Eventually, you'll catch up to people leveled cards, but in the mean time you'll be frustrated losing to people who you see are clearly worse than you but they simply can just overpower you.

This is truly a masterclass in strategy games. A perfect turn based iteration of clash royale slowed down to allow for more strategy. They add new stuff all the time. I have been playing for a year and a half and still love it! It is well balanced and all the factions are fun to play. Sometimes it feels a little grindy but so does every other mobile strategy game. You can pay to progress faster but the game has never been better for free to play users. Highly recommend.

Stormbound has been one of my favourite games for a long time. The aesthetic of the game is engaging, the artstyle is unique and intriguing and the soundtrack is sublime. The Brawl and Draft modes are amazing and loads of fun. I really hope the developers expand on the camapign soon - that's the only aspect of the game that I feel needs fleshing out or refining.

The recent update has implemented a level cap in certain ranks of the competitive mode. So, the literal years of grinding in order to get maximum level cards has all been for nothing. Leveling up cards on this game takes a very long time (unless you spend a lot of money), but the entire process is now redundant. I feel like all the time I've put into this game has been completely wasted after this update. Years of grinding just to not be able to play my max level cards.
