Stormhill Mystery: Family Shadows

Don't expect epic characters or voiceovers but scenes are excellently done and creepy atmosphere due to background effects and music. I usually turn that off completely but I'm turning this one up. The way you accomplish tasks is just different enough to make this game more than the same old same old. And NO glitches so far. Very smooth. How many games can you say that about anymore? Loving this one.

not super impressed. You have to do what the hints tell you in that order even if you know what you are doing. Doesn't make much sense. Not a bad game but not great either. It was pretty frustrating to HAVE to hit hint on everything or it wont let you do anything. I do understand different levels. but first level you really aren't given a choice many of the times and clues make no sense

I paid the low amount asked in order to continue playing out this game. It's very good. I still think it's sucky cause I'm not sure which way to go due to having so many places to investigate so much that I must rely on the hint rather than being able to know exactly where to go on my own.. but I try lol!

I was loving this game. Great graphics, good story, plenty to do etc. However after I've paid to continue playing, I'm now looking at a beautifully framed black screen. I can access achievements and main menu but can't play. VERY Disappointed. Edit. After this review the developer contacted me very quickly and offered a reimbursement. I was reluctant as I had been enjoying the game. Managed eventually to get back on and redo the whole thing. Very good story and enjoyable games.

So I went through and beat it and enjoyed it tremendously. It says at the end to remember to play the bonus chapter. Went through everything and couldn't find it. 😔 I'll hang around a bit to see if I can find it. Was a great game. Kind of cool how things would change and open up after the story called for it. Would love to see another one like this. 😂 UPDATE: Second time playing the game and completed it. Found extras menu and extra game play but won't open up to anything just highlights.

Edit: Customer service was great. The issue was resolved. Great game!!! I was really enjoying the game, however the hints are not available and i came to a standstill in the game. I resorted to looking up a walkthough, to which I realized a few options weren't available. I love these kind of games but without being able to move forward or access options to move forward, I might uninstall.

Beautiful graphics, well-thought story, challenging puzzles and captivating game environment. It was definitely worth the price and I would really recommend this game if you're a puzzle/escape/adventure game enthusiast like me! I love how the bonus chapter ties in perfectly with the main game! The characters are also quite memorable and I can tell the developers put a lot of effort into this game. Keep up the good work! I will surely play all other games by this Specialbit Studio as well.

This game deserves a much higher rating - the free portion was quite long, and the full game price is very reasonable based upon length of gameplay and the extra game thereafter. Graphics were good, the story was logical, and you can choose what level you wished to play. Great job, developers, I look forward to more of your work!

Didnt flow as well as other games I paid $4.99 on. It was hesitant sometimes for things to work. if i tired to walk to the next scene sometimes it woult act like i was trying to an item on it. you would find random stuff not knowing what it went to. Some of the time it didn't make sense to use the correct items. Also I noticed some left a review saying something about not getting to make a name and unlock the game, it did the same thing to me. I had to save Player1 as my name to even play it.

Loved EVERYTHING that I got to play of it..but then it wouldn't let me go any further without paying the near $6..really saddening.. I can't do that😢😣so guess I won't play and uninstall🙃🙃Thank you for a no problem,intriguing, enjoyable game.

Great! Just started playing and bought the full version. Graphics are good and so far the puzzles aren't hard.

I wrote to the developers about my issue with the game closing upon completion of the main game and deleting my file, and they refunded my purchase. Looking forward to trying again in the future.

I really enjoy these types of games and as far as demos go this was a good one. Graphically it's well done and I liked the voice acting, the story is intriguing unfortunaely all these pros come with one con which is tied to the key component in any game: the game play. I felt you gain to many items to soon and because everything is story driven you'll be mashing the hint button just get an idea of what you'll need to do next. I think though if your familiar with the genre you'll enjoy this game

I just finished the main chapter and started the BONUS chapter. I accidentally selected the wrong difficulty mode. I wanted to change it but there was no option at tall (all Big Fish games allow people to change difficulties). If I change player's name, I have to replay the main game. It's not a glitch but more of a design flaw.

Fun and Worth It Good job, guys. The demo portion is sufficient to draw you in and the story, music, and graphics make the game. The puzzles, for the most part, are intuitive and inviting. And the postgame bonus gameplay was a neat cherry on top. Totally worth spending money to help support good gamemakers. Gracias por todo. :) P.S. Make more games

It was well done and long enough to be worth paying to unlock. It seemed like a lot of thought was put into it, like how every action in the bonus chapter matched up to the condition of the house in the game. I wasn't a huge fan of the ghosts all the time and not having to unlock things because they'd suddenly knock it open.

Really loving this game, good story & brilliant graphics, not your run of the mill sort of game.

I liked this game it was a little bit different so has gone on my to buy list. UPDATE So i bought the full game and my only complaint is that it wasn't longer, i loved this game so much i just whizzed through it. It really made you think, the details in the graphics were fantastic and the story was brilliant and as i said puzzles were all just a little bit different. For the price this game is a must buy.

Some of the movements between places on the map don't make sense 🤔 and I missd the HOGS, also rather short for the price. But really enjoyed the spooky graphics and simple storyline. Wouldn't pay for it again but not a bad game. Be warned, tiny free play time before have to buy.

Amazing! I enjoyed The Last Dream so much that when I had seen another game by your team I was absolutely thrilled! I love the story lines, the adventure is easily followed and I love the lack of hogs! I'd much rather play a game as this than spend my time searching for useless and irrelevant items! Great job! Can't wait to see the next game by you guys, I only hope it keeps to your original quality, don't rush, worth the wait!

It's a good game but they don't tell you you have to pay for the full game. I wish Play Store would make them tell you it's a lite game before you use your data.

my apologies for my 1st review and as requested I've since revised and updated and have only just started playing the game it's got good graphics, storyline, map morphing objects but unfortunately doesn't seem to have any collectables like most games but hopefully this will be in the next new game! But overall its not a bad game and isn't bad priced either so have rated this 4 stars as no collectables but would definitely recommend this game and can't wait for the next new game well done!

For people who presume this is a HOG, it's NOT! It's adventure, strategy, puzzle solving, not point & click @ meaningless random objects that've nothing to do w/the storyline ie "smoking pipe, seashell, ballon." This game is wonderful! Excellent story line, background music that isn't repetitive, superb graphics, puzzles that make you think. Where IS the sequel? What happens to Julianne's Father?

New phone has helped with previous issues. I'm not sure if the phone was the issue, but i have a new device now, and the issues I was having before don't seem to be there anymore-i was able to advance past the previous stuck point. I still haven't played much, but wanted to revise my 1star review so I didn't forget to.

I really loved the graphics. It has a great storyline. The map was a big help. However, I found it a bit short. The extra chapter was pretty cool but short as well. It felt like you were just running around grabbing things with no real direction.

Love!! The graphics are beautiful and sharp even when you zoom. Thank you for the zoom ability! I love the mini games because they're challenging which is nice for a change! Definitely recommend. Great job developers!!
