Shows the weather storm n clouds great, alerts are working. It would be nice if there was a way to show where the hi and low pressures are
I've had this app for years and absolutely loved it! The latest update totally ruined this map! Why do people want to continually fix something that's not broken, now it's a cheap junky version of what it was and now you can't even see the oceans as they blacked them out and everything is off and everything is ugly and I just don't understand why you have something good and then you want to go cheap. What is my favorite app, unfortunately, I had to uninstall it and look for something else.
The map in motion portion was working flawlessly for quite a while and approximately a month-and-a-half ago the in-motion portions stop working. When you open up the application initially to local and it is raining, you'll see that there is rain. When you put it into motion the rain instantly disappears and does not return even when there is additional rain to the rear. Other application shows this but yours is failing to do it in.
I like using this app, because the love of my life is always on the road, he's a truck driver and I have to keep an eye out for weather for his sake. It's as accurate as anything out there
I loved this app when I first installed it but every few months it craps out and losses all data. I uninstall and reinstall usually fixes it. This time NOTHING. I have done this 4x over last 2 or 3 days and nothing. With an anticipated snow storm headed our way it would be GREAT to have an app that works. Guess I will check out ABC or NBC maybe they will work.
I've been comparing this app versus WeatherBug over the past 8 months. By no means am I an expert or a meteorologist. But I can honestly say that WeatherBug is so much more accurate. I can comfortably say in my humble opinion that channel 5 app adjust their weather forecast inaccurately to make you watch the news live. It's just simple facts, like I said I followed it closely and WeatherBug has been by far more accurate!
Has been my go to weather app forever. But the last few months every time I open it it's frozen. Can't do anything. And the only thing that fixes it is restarting my phone. And then it only works for the first time opened before freezing again. Please fix itt
Unlike the KOCO 5 News and Weather app, this app isn't full of content-covering ads. But it also doesn't have the running KOCO 5 audio content nor the current weather radar. I'll be sticking with the MyRadar app (by ACME AtronOmatic). It doesn't have local news audio commentary either (of course) but at least you get a constantly updating weather radar image.
It would be nice if the background or the color of the font on the home, daily, etc line would be a different color. The light grey print fades into the blue background making it difficult to read.
Excellent the best, gives the weather and thats all I want. Fast and accurate radar and forecasting. I would pay for this app to get rid of adds if I could, but at least they get in the way of the weather information.
I did at one time really liked this app because it worked great and most of the time I could really count on it. Now, I just want to uninstall it. This dont seem to work anymore. They have the temp, hour, and other things at the bottom of the app. Now none of that works anymore. So what it the temp for today, well I can't tell because my app no longer works and I have to find another one. They are not updating this app.
Need to update the satellite images. These are WAY older images. These aren't anything like they should be. You can zoom in where I live and there's homes/trailers/drive ways you name it that's not there on the images you all have in the radar.
It was working perfect for over 2 years. Now, the last few days the app stopped working on my Galaxy note 10. Nothing is showing up as far as the home, daily temperature, hourly forecast, 10 day, etc. I use this daily, please fix.
Just installed but had to say I was really impressed with the radar animation. Daily and hourly breakdown similar to Weatherbug format yet smoother. Hoping the reliability is better than WB.
Great app. But, now when I move it to SD card, it won't open?
Just moved back to Texas from another state, and wasn't getting the proper weather info for this area on other apps. So duh, go with a local station. Grew up here, so knew who to pick. Thanks. The widgets could be improved though. But radar is GREAT!!! Thanks. 😁
Best weather app I have, great details and accuracy and love the fonts for a quick look but tap them for more accurate details. The colors are great and the best fastest radar I've ever had, perfection.
Started out good but it don't change the temperature on top of my screen an doesn't alert me of any storms an we jus had a bad one come up. I set everything in the app to alert. Gonna uninstall an find a better one. I'm so very disappointed.
I hate the new version of this app. The radar acreen is too small for starters and the home screen is cluttered with all kinds of stuff that's not needed there. Wish I had not updated!
It was great but all of a sudden nothing works except a picture of the map. I did an uninstall then a re-install. Still does not work.
It's easy, accurate, and has worked anywhere in the country I have traveled to. Don't have to pay for anything either. Wish my local news stations had apps like this.
I need their job, you never gotta be right and you still get paid, I see 90 % rain one hour then 10% next hour. Constantly like this every day. I never know what it's going to do nor does the weather app until it actually does it. I would rate lower but can't.
Constantly refuses to open. Sends worrisome notifications, then won't freaking open! Switching to weather bug...FOR NOW...but either way, DONE with this one 4ever.
More often than not this app is "frozen". As in, it opens and appears to work but you can't do anything with it other than exit it. Uninstalling.
Like the no nonsense radar. Petty accurate as far as the timing goes and has useful overlays. However, if the point is to mitigate danger, perhaps not forcing the logo full screen for 5 seconds for every focus to the app could save more lives when it's an active tornado you're following... If I change focus to a text app to tell family I'm ok, the app reloads itself completely when I go back to it (not closing it, mind you). This needs to be fixed as seconds can count in a tornado.
