Story Saver for Instagram - Story Assistant

Very solid app. It's organized and loads fast with no intrusive ads. There are options to download IGTV and display pictures. Strangely, there is no "log off" option. I also wish there was one more step added in case of accidentally sharing stories to your own profile. Other than those two minor issues issues, currently I would give it 4.5 if I could.

Great overall. But video loading is always finicky. Also had issues with notifications. It repeatedly show up and dissapear when I try to clear it from my notification bar and won't go away right away. I had to repeatedly remove the same notifications because it kept reappearing after I cleared it off. It also slows down my phone badly when there's more than 40 notifications at once

story assistant worked really well initially! i could download any instagram story i wanted once i'd signed into my account. but now it stopped working - every time i enter the app the screen won't load, and when i try to refresh the page the app kicks me out. going to the sidebar and pressing on accounts sends me to google play store, and searching for profiles does nothing at all. please fix! i really miss the app.

I can't see any stories. Doesn't work! Update: Still, doesn't work. I keep seeing a message to re-login to my Instagram account. The bookmarks work. I'm using it in 3 different devices running Android 10 (Samsung Galaxy Note 9, Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 and HTC 12+) Update: Back to normal again, working like before. The app is good and does the job, unfortunately I have moved on.

It's a good application for saving some imp. Files and stories but.. since a latest update I'm finding some force crashing problems with the application I can't c any of the story of any people and It's not working properly is there any possibility of working properly or not. Could u please come up with this for me!!?* Waiting for your help and support ASAP....!! Thankyou.

The latest app update broke it. Endless spinning circle. No stories show up. Please fix. Use this every day. UPDATE: I emailed the developer and he said the app was no longer being support and I should uninstall it. I think he intentionally broke it to stop supporting it. Too bad. It was a great app. You can find the previous version out on apk sites but it'll probably stop working the next time IG changes something.

The app has worked well for me, it's great. Good job. And it would be even more so if added the option to swipe right and left to go from one profile to another in the feeds (Stories and Bookmarks). With this feature, I would pay to remove the advertisements.

Since a recent update, Story Saver has stopped downloading images in full size, instead shrinking them to width 480. Toggling "Get media high quality" makes no difference. It still works fine on older versions of the app. EDIT: Kimcy929's suggestion fixed this problem! Thanks! Upgrading my rating to five stars. Excellent app and customer service 😉👍

App was working great, but now it's just stuck on loading. If I press anything, like say "Accounts" it exits the app. And then when I open the app then press the button again, it says "Story Assistant Keeps Stopping" then prompts me to close the app. Hope this gets fixed, because the app worked amazing.

App stopped working a few days now. When I open it the loading circle just spins and nothing appears on the home screen. When I try to open the account section in the side menu the app crashes. I reinstalled and it's the same thing.

After using the app sometime downloading some stories, after some time when i tap a user's name to watch their story, it shows me the below attached message which says to login in my account even though i was logged in.. It tells me to try again login.. Please look into this issue. This problem is occurring again and again in this app on my phone. Please do the needful as soon as possible. Waiting for your help n support soon.

I've used the apps for almost 2years, it can't be use now. It keep loading after I open the apps, can't see any story, can't see any friends. I've tried change connection and reinstall the apps, still same issue.

Used to work but after the recent update it just kept loading for hours, and force closed itself when I press "Accounts" and when I tried to refresh the page. I thought the latest update was for bug fixes, not to break the app.

I can no longer see any accounts or search. Sometimes it gets stuck on searching. When u click on accounts, the app crashes and closes. This just started happening.

It has been going really good so far but I have now reached a bug where it will just keep loading and nothing will happen and if I click on the accounts part in the side menu it crashes, don't know what's going on.

used to work really- multifunctional (saves stories, highlights and posts!) but now nothing will load, no accounts and search bar doesnt show suggestions whenever i tap accounts, the app crashes too i also uninstalled and reinstalled but i hope it gets fixed soon

I used to love this app so much until the recent update; the app keeps on loading forever, nothing came up and when I refreshed, it shut down by itself. Please try to fix this issue. I really, really love this app before all of these happened.

Hello there, I am not able to login into my Instagram account through your app. It is showing there is no media found and the app is not working properly. Dashboard is showing my account's profile picture but it is not showing the saved posts and I am not able to download the stories. Please help me.

I only realised that this app removes anything saved after 1 week today. It would be way better if the stuff saved stays in the phone and not get removed or purged unknowingly. Update: the app doesnt even work now and keeps crashing.

I found bugs.. several times (almost everyday) when i download story (video), the download process done but the result are 0 kb. But this bugs not happen at picture stories (jpg).. happened only at video stories (mp4). Please fix it, and i will give 5 stars. If this bugs fixed, this apps will be the best IG stories downloader. Edited 4/21: Solution does not work. Sometimes still download 0 kb videos

Yess, I tried so many apps, but this one is different. Well if you ask me one word to describe it, so, perfect.....yeah, this is perfect if you want to save or download instagram story or posts (of the people you follow) in your phone's gallery.

Works great, easy to download - BUT: I found out some of the stories I download and want to save as backup disappear. It keeps about 35 downloads, doesn't matter even if I download more, after a while I look at the directory and see only ~35 files :(

Suddenly can't open app. Whenever I open this app, the loading keep spinning. And when I tap account, force close. I did try clear cache and app data and even reinstall, but still the same of the infinite loading

This app was working fine before the update. After the update, many problems have started coming in it like when you start the app, then the app freezes and auto-exists.

The whole app suddenly does not work anymore, I cant see anything anymore. I thought I was logged out, but when I tried to log in, the app just keeps on crashing. Please fix.

The app is good but the developer intentionally broke something in the latest version and abandoned it. The previous version of the app (1.1.4.0) still works fine. Had to download an apk from a third party website and install it. Just one question to the developer. Why would you do that?

Do NOT download! This app used to be perfect. Now, it is pure garbage. Cannot even open the accounts section without the app closing itself. Yes I've deleted the cache and data after and nothing.

it's a great app but I have a suggestion: Can you add option to highlight multiple pictures that you only want to download so I could not download unneccesary ones. And sorry for my English. I hope you see this one please.
