This is definitely not android friendly, having to constantly hit the drop down tab when entering children and learning tags is frustrating. Can not adjust font, colour or photo layout on the app is also frustrating. To now be told that you're not looking to update the features for android users is ridiculous. So disappointed in an app that had such promise.
the app(s) compared to the website are not great. You're not able to access all of the features of the website using the app. The notifications don't work either. Very disappointing as an eduacator and a parent using both sides of Storypark. The apps should have all the features of the website
Good app for documenting nannies/carers/educators activities. Pics and stories are so easy to add but video's are definitely impossible to add on my app. And yes I've tried reinstalling, and updating my phone. But the parents are happy with pictures and stories. I send video's through the WhatsApp app instead. So definitely recommended to let the parents know their childrens activities and learning that are done within their home or playgroup or kindy etc.
Can't use all options, e.g. create community post. Also annoying that it's impossible to start a conversation with parents of just one room but that's the same in the browser version. Every single person has to be manually added via drop down menu! So time consuming.
Good app. Would be even better if it were able to do everything though, like change the size and colour of the writing etc. Would be great if I were able to do everything on this app that cam be done on the website version.
App is dumb, can't do anything on it. No planning, no editing stories, no editing photos on stories, cant add more than one photo at a time to stories, can't change they layout of stories, and can't access teacher portfolios. Not worth the download at all.
This app is sooooo bad. It always lags. Its so slow, it never saves changes properly. It can't handle uploading more than a handful of photos at a time. This app seriously wastes so much of my time.
Not user friendly. Unlike the iPhone version, I can't choose multiple photos/videos to upload. Stories take forever to open. Terrible photo/video quality.
The app is a great tool but again it's very disappointing that some features do not work the same from an android device, especially the lack of being able to add photos to comments.
Very glitchy. Has not been updated since 2019. Love the concept. But would not recommend in current state. Look forward to seeing this updated.
it's a awesome app but when printing out to put in portfolios for educators the text and pics are really small and hard to read, would be cool of we could pretty them up and the pics bigger when printed out.
App is not useful on android. When wanting to make a community post, conversation or learning story, the page briefly apprears while pressing on the icon and then it disappears, so you can't create new content. Can only view existing stories and posts and make comments on existing posts.
Storypark generally. Really useful, and constantly improving. Would give 5 stars if they let us use as a photo storage sharing. So we don't need to use any other cloud storage platform.
It's absolutely useless. You can't save stories, you have to publish them whether they're complete or not, once published, you can't edit them, all you can do is create community posts and stories, nothing else. You can't access rooms, children, or anything else. Might as well just go to the website on your phone! That's what I'll be doing from now on. Uninstalling!
This app is not very useful on Android devices. Was in a training where I got insight into what is capable on IOS devices. Yet Android users pay same subscription as IOS. Not worth using app on Android devices.
Great tools and very responsive and reflective staff. So incredible especially right now as a tool to stay connected with our families which is such a challenge due to CO-VID19. Thank you for all you do! 💜
I use it as an educator. On apple devices, I can do more, such as routine and things like that. I don't see any options here. Hopefully they update some functions here too.
Love this app for receiving daycare updates for my daughter. However since getting a new phone, I now can't click on the pic to enlarge/zoom/save the photo. Have gone from an Android phone to another Android phone so nor sure why it's now not working?
Good all round, wished there was a bit more functionality like being able to view and comment on plans that we have.
I couldnt play and view the photos and videos using my mobile. Have you changed the settings? Coz it would be nice to view it while at work or out.
I have been using this in all of my rooms but it has stopped working in one. Internet connection is strong but not able to log in and it says there's no internet connection. Anything to help with this?
It only has 1/3 the features the webpage has. I think the most frustrating part is that you can't make community posts on the android/phone app.
Great app but videos doesn't work on android... I'm missing out in a lot of special moments..I hope it gets fix soon.
The browser version is better. Not able to view charts, or edit fonts with the app
This app is only good for uploading my pictures and videos, it doesn't load my stories when I try to view them and I'm unable to approve my co teachers stories.
App is too different and is much more limited compared to th apple version. Please make them the same.
Not user friendly, and android & iPhone users have different functions. Ie. IPhone users can add pics to the conversations while android users do not have that option. There also needs to be more options to save your work. I had my work erased many times when the app could not upload my videos and it just erased when I get a prompt that it didn't successfully upload.
