StorySaver+

StorySaver+ broke in early 2021. There was no response from the developer to multiple emails, even though I paid for the app. Now in early 2022, they release a new version, my paid version isn't acknowledged and it's subscription based. Yes, you read it right. Adding insult to injury, the app is watered down now, such as having to manually direct each download to the correct folder. There are dozens of better alternatives that are either free or non-subscription. I'm uninstalling it now.

Bye I am uninstalling and switching to Instagram's mod version, since you didn't reply me anything, so take care. Good app but too much ads ruining the experience and some times can't get same profile , you have to close the app and clean from ram more than 2 times to get that profile again. Atleast give a one time purchase option. Monthly and yearly charges are too expensive.

Changing this to 2 stars instead of 5 because the update is kinda trash. Ads after every single download, it doesn't make unique folders for the different accounts anymore and you have to select the save folder for each individual slide you download. Takes so much time now unless you want a $10/month membership, nah.

This app used to get 5 stars from me but this latest update messed everything up. You have to manually select download folder every time you download which is very annoying. It used to have no ads before now you get an ad every time you download something

If everything is indeed working properly, I personally think the incurrence of subscription fee is not unreasonable. If people really just want to save funny or interesting content, there are other apps suitable for that. The one thing this one has over those, is the anonymity. What is damning in the new update though, is that you can't view the downloaded files except from the app itself. Until that's changed, might want to stay away from the app.

Terrible after the update. Now you need to choose the folder by yourself & it's filled with ads. Will look for an alternative app.

I uninstalled this application because in the search field I couldn't find the account whose story I was going to download. I don't know why. I think this latest update is very bad compared to the old version.

I like the new upgrade , how possible it is for you guys to replace the profile pic on the live videos with a picture of their recent moves instead , so we could see what they actually doing before attempting to open the live video

Since the last update this app has become pretty much unusable. Every click you make gives you another ad. Shame, this didn't used to be this bad.

Literally was the best app for instagram related stuff, now? It's the worst app ever ads after you download 1 story and you could download highlights for free before the update and after the update you have to watch an ad or buy a "gold" membership.

Previous version was far better than the updated one... videos are not playing in the new version so unable to download if there are videos in the story

Love the update but paid for the no ads feature and still see ads. It still asks me to upgrade to gold or watch an ad.

Please add the following features: 1. Option to save the downloads all in one folder instead of one folder for each username. 2. Option to use "Share to" option from Instagram to this app, this is more convenient than copying links. 3. Fix the detect link copied option, it switches off automatically and does not work all the time.

I've tried few apps but none could provide option to download live video or if they could, ig will block the access. Glad this app able to deliver what I've wanted. I'm quite sceptical at first if it could work since the vid length is 70 minutes, but the download process went smooth without a single glitch.

Does what three or four other apps combined does. All the while maintaining quality, and a great and easy interface. Lacks the option to download Lives that don't get posted afterwards, but that's honestlty way too much to ask for.

The new copy is very slow & has alot of ads. Not practical experience :/

I love the old version. It has storage access folders, not too many ads and more user friendly. Respect the updated but the old one is better.

This is an excellent app. Before this app I had to keep insta story, insta image save and insta live story saver in three different apps but this app does everything. It crashes often times when switching between apps otherwise I would've rated 5 stars

Actually I really really like this app it's allow you to download everything in instagram. Posts, stories, higlights, igtv videos etc. You can also download live replays but now it's broken I can still download live videos but these videos don't have sound. If you fix this problem I am gonna give 5 star for sure.

This app used to be my favorite to download everything from instagram but now it can't anymore. Whenever i want to download, it always says "Error: Failed to download! Please try again". I've uninstalled and installed back, logged out and logged in back, but it's still like that. Please fix it ASAP. Thank you.

App was incredible for a while. However for the past several months I keep getting an error message saying that "no stream available". I tried everything to see if I could get it to work but nothing works. I'd really appreciate it if you could fix this problem.

I'm all about the IG live downloads. Pros: - IG live replay videos render good with no annoying video skips.(A problem in other apps that download IG live replays) Cons: - IG live replay videos don't download the highest quality.(After testing two different apps, I realized this app was downloading the second to highest quality) - Can't record actual IG lives while live stream is occurring (something I would love to see from this app) Conclusion: I love the app but it can definitely be better.

The new update is so poor. There are so many advertisements. Don't download this application!

I've been using this the last few days and so far I have not had a single problem. I rarely get an ad and when they show up they are not intrusive. The only recommendation to make the app better is that I wish there was a way to bookmark users, but other than that the app has been great. I would give it a 5-star rating if they added bookmarks.

Stopped working perfectly after the 5star rating. audio doesnt merge with video anymore or merges & video is blank. wasted so much data just trying to get it right. pls fix. i really liked this app initially

Please fix the ig live download option, the replay doesn't work anymore, it's the most needed and wanted feature, ig story/igtv/photo-video downloader apps is very common. Please fix that feature asap.

Hlo it nowadays it won't saving avatars in my phone but it says download competed,saved in your gallery.

I like the old version, because I can watch live with good quality, and I'm comfortable with that one

App keeps crashing when opened from the Last App section. Plus would be nice to just save a post with a button instead of copying a link, some posts won't have links & it's cumbersome when saving multiple posts.
