high quality content, but still some bugs. the animations are stunning, and the stories are really well written. seems to be a bug on the pop up that asks if you want to watch an ad for an extra diamond. when you click to watch the ad, the pop up closes and nothing happens. it's obvious the app is in early development, as there aren't many stories. I hope as they expand there will also be better search and filter tools.
I give it an overall 5 because the art style, graphics, and gameplay are amazing, but there is one issue I have with the app where sometimes the controls are a little wonky. It has happened a few times where screen blinks, then when I try to select an option, it selects the one below it. It's like the selection controls slide down while the graphics stay the same. Restarting the app fixes it. It's kind of annoying, but I feel the graphics and stories are worth it.
Great storytelling and depending on your responses determines which way the story goes. Very creative and graphics are excellent! Since last update unable to open the app as it keeps crashing all the time! I am revising my review as I am very disappointed with this outcome!! I am hoping it will be addressed and fixed as soon as possible!! Thank you!
This visual novel app is truly changing the game. I have never come across an app in this genre that's as functional and enjoyable as this one. Everything from the art to the animation to the UI is shattering what I've come to expect from visual novel apps and skyrocketing above my wildest expectations. It is an absolute shame that it's been deemed not profitable enough, when there's been such a poor US marketing campaign for it. I will miss it horribly.
This is my favorite 'choose your own adventure' type app. There are premium choices but they're not the ONLY good choice and the story progresses just fine with the free ones. The art and music are very good too. The premium currency is also pretty easy to get, with one diamond for finishing each chapter and another one for watching an ad.
The graphics is okay. Though the stories are short. It has few episodes. It's hard to earn some tickets. Enhance it, maybe by giving some extra ticket if we watch some adds or something. The stories are great. It has some great plot twist, the thing is it's quite short. Like just 10 ep. The app still need some improvement. Add some background music as well.
I absolutely love this game so far! The graphics are beautifully detailed. I love that the characters mouths move when they talk and expressions change. The stories are so immersive and the choices you make really affect it. I wish I could earn more diamonds, but not buying premium options doesn't really ruin the stories because there's so many other free choices you can make. It's one of the best story apps I've ever played.
I read Titanic. Loved the graphics & most of the story up until the end. Whoa! That's where i felt i had the least amount of control over the direction of the story, oddly enough. I was disappointed and am wondering what happened there in the story? There wasn't a option that i could be happy with in the last 2 chapters. Up until then there was always one, at least. Shame, this story game is gorgeous.*Note* Home page >The layout is wonky. Letters overlapped and can't scroll down.
I haven't been playing for very long, but the art work and style and movement of the stories are gorgeous. The story lines are really awesome too and how progressive they are is amazing, thank you storyscape, it has indeed been fun so far. I would maybe like to ask that the time between tickets be a bit shorter but otherwise completely fantastic and one of the best if not the best choice based game I've played so far. ❤️

Unlike other ones, they let you spend time with your LI and you can make an impact on the stories without needing too much diamonds. The stories are well-thought-out and I'd give a standing ovation for every. single. thing.
I really like the app, the stories are very in-depth. The only thing I don't like is how many crystals it costs to choose certain options, and there's no other way of getting the amount except buy paying quite a substantial amount. I believe it to be better to sell each book for a set amount and have all options unlocked, otherwise u could be spending quite a lot in one book. Other than that it's a fantastic app.
Amazing Stories ... so far. None of the available stories are finished yet, but I've enjoyed what I've played so far. Unlike similar games you can make interesting choices without having to pay premium currency every single time. The premium choices are saved for really special moments, optional clothing, or if you want to pick more than one option. You can earn free diamonds for completing chapters and free tickets if you're willing to be patient.
This game is seriously so addictive. It's so much better than choices, and chapters, and the other interactive storytelling games. Storyscapes actually has multiple endings. And your choices affect much more than your lines. Your choices affect the gameplay and the relationship with the people around you. Not to mention that the visuals/graphics are phenomenal. I hope they add more stories and add an option to style your character. Definitely a worthy game
I so incredibly loved this game. It was in my opinion definitely the best choices game out there. Graphics and storyline were so well done and the whole gaming experience was truly magical. I just recently found out that the servers of storyscape were shut down, after not being able to play due to log in failures. And I'm devastated! I don't get why the best out of all the choices apps had to go. I just hope that where ever the talented creators are, that they might create new stories for us! :)
I adore this game. Sure you only get 2 tickets at a time, BUT each chapter takes close to 30 minutes to get through, so 2 tickets feels like a lot. I love the art and the stories. My only complaint is that there isn't a way to tell if a story is going to be continued or not. I just finished Eternal City and (mild spoiler alert) the end hints at a continuation, but there's no way to know for sure. It would be nice if stories that Storyscape don't plan on continuing were marked as "complete"
I'm about 2/3 of the way through X-Files and the story is surprisingly good and makes me want to keep playing. The ticket system is fair. It's one ticket per episode, it takes 90 minutes or so to regain both tickets, and 20-ish minutes to play an episode. They're a bit stingy with diamonds that pay for better choices, but those choices feel more like extras than just "good" choices (like seeing past events as another character), so that also feels fair.
4 stars because there isn't enough stories on yet. The graphics are the best I've seen and I have tried all the interactive stories app to date. The chapters are good lenght and storylines are interesting. Ads aren't too long like others, only a few seconds. Overall it's excellent, needs more variety of stories and more option to customise character. Less wait time for tickets would be good too, 4 hours is too long for only two tickets. Really looking forward to seeing this grow
I never leave reviews here, but this game is really great, reminds me of Telltale games. A detailed and captivating storytelling with many choices to make, beautiful design and fitting soundtracks. I really liked Titanic and Eternal City, waiting for new episodes. Sometimes it's a bit irritating that diamonds are required to make some choices, but that's understandable I guess. And it's a good thing that the diamonds are not essential to play and it's possible to enjoy the game even without them
The artwork is beautiful and the stories intriguing, but only getting two tickets total and it refreshing only every two hours seems a bit excessive. Being able to watch ads for tickets (or even partial, say, a quarter of a ticket per ad) would benefit greatly. You'd still get revenue and people would be happier without feeling pushed into spending money. I'd rather spend a few minutes watching ads than throwing money at a game, which would quickly add to up to more than the cost of a novel.
I went in with very low expectations and was pleasantly surprised. First story I ran through was Eternal City and it was really well written and engaging. Now I need the next season! Only real con is the diamond paywall for some of the story options. I know I can watch ads to wrack them up slowly, but it still feels as though I miss out on important parts of the story. I'm excited to see what other stories are introduced to this platform! Playing through the others now.
In terms of interactive stories, Storyscape is as good as they come. The graphics are incredible and the stories detailed and immersive. However, I keep going back to other similar games such as Choices because it's much easier to progress through the stories by being able to earn diamonds watching ads periodically and completing chapters. With Storyscape, there is no incentive to re-open the app once your diamonds are spent.
This game is overall pretty amazing. The graphics are top notch for a free app, and the stories are interesting (even if I'm only in the middle of the Titanic one) but there are a few complaints. I find that it's maybe a bit too politically correct with the whole women empowerment thing, and there was no need to put a character in it that is a lingerie model? Especially in the year 1912. I am happy to know those tickets do eventually reload though. That was a concern at first.
I've been playing this app for a while now and it's became by favorite story app. The choices actually matter in later chapters. The diamond scenes are usually worthwhile and they're not the usual do something or so nothing like I've seen before. The graphics are terrific. You can also reply chapters individually or even go back 3 and play from there. I love it and can't wait for more stories.
The stories are exciting and dramatic. Two days into reading their stroies and im addicted. The art is beautiful, the story lines are amazing and the choices are great. One thing i would like is more diamonds but other than that, amazing. I highly recomend this app to anyone. EDIT: so the whenever i want to play the next episode of a story it logs me out and im back to my home screen. I really want to play this game but this bug wont let me
I am impressed! The visuals, the storyline, the characters. Everything is absolutely stunning and worthy of installing. But it is misleading to start us off with 5 tickets to then reduce us to two. Also, it would be a good idea to place the stories into genres, so that a person can bypass whatever they are not interested in without ever having to see it on their screen.
