Works as described, even without premium features. Learning curve is very shallow, and the impact of photos are stunning. Great app!
Good App B U T. It's a Pay App monthly. Lifetime is TOO expensive considering these features usually will appear within a year in free or less expensive apps. I would have paid may e up to $5. But now I'll wait ....
1)Adding overlays over a video is not properly optimized, it lags a lot. 2) It doesn't save all the modifications applylied on the image, like overlay orientation. I paid for the subscription and I'm not that happy.
Some features require premium, and the free version has some limitations in what you can apply. Also ads and a watermark. That's basically almost all of the drawbacks I find in this app. The number of ways you can add motion and the features are quite extensive. Works offline (except for the downloadable overlays obviously). Has tutorials and great ui. Also, the effects mode is awesome! Just 1 issue: Blend mode other than normal doesn't work with the eraser.
This app was great up until the recent update with effects. It doesn't work. When I click on the effect option, it asks me to crop the picture like normal. I get pass that part to get welcomed to a completely black screen that eventually freezes. I had to wait about 2 minutes before I get a forced close notice. I have tried to use this new option three times still getting the same results. I have forced stopped the app and restarted my phone. Please fix this. Edit: It has been fixed. Thanks!
Too many features the app should have, but doesnt... 1. If you could combine all 4 effects options, this would be one of the best apps on the market... But you can only choose one effect option per project. 2. For the "Background" effect option, once you start working on a particular backgeound, you should be able to try a different background without having to start back at square 1. 3. Should be able to create a project, save, then choose to post it at a later date from an archive.
The app seems great but, correct me if I'm wrong, even by subscribing (which I have done), the max resolution on the android version, differently from the iPhone one, is limited to the "standard" resolution (doesn't go above the 2000px in height/width) no matter the resolution of the original image. Also, the eraser tool when using the 'effects' section produces no result whatsoever on the effect itself. Feedback on this would be very much appreciated.
I really like this app as it has some unique features that similar apps don't. The one thing preventing me from putting more money into this after the end of the trial subscription are the noticeable lack of updates since January 2020. That doesn't really inspire confidence regarding continued app support or on future devices. It's a shame because this is one of those apps I wouldn't of minded dropping money for the one-time app purchase.
This is the first photo app I have tried my hand at that wasn't almost immediately deleted. I have truly enjoyed this app and the limitless possibilities. The tutorials are perfect and make navigation simple without losing important detail. Unlike other apps I've used StoryZ can create great end results with not so great photos. Thank you.
The best app for motion pictures so far. i have been using it for about one month. One thing you have to be care is about using the correct tool in the photo. works better. I'm really satisfied with the app. thank you so much developers. *tip : use the motion tool like smaller arrows. bigger ones will show up like unnecessary movements. *tip : cover up areas needs masking peoperly and precisely. only after add the motion. *tip : you can smaller/ bigger the pointer. use it well. Thanks again!
Since the update, the app is a bugged out mess and will not stay open unless you launch and quickly hit the profile button before it realises. But it still doesn't work fully. In backdrop mode you select image, select video but only the video is displayed. In Overlay Effects some images don't overlay. I paid pro and it's worked flawlessly until this last week. I use it daily and it's a pain in the arse. I've uninstalled/reinstalled everything I can but it still only works as above!
Hi Devs. #potentialbuyer I really like this app. 1: Each feature can be adjusted. 2: The app is super intuitive. 3: The ability to join what appears to be an active community. What I feel could greatly improve the app. A: Daisy chain features/animation styles/fx/overlays and so on. B: Add Text if not already. I only just downloaded this amazing app. C: Make it so a finished creation can be paused by a end user. D: Make the controls easier to see. Thank you.
I don't actually edit videos, only photos really. I like the feature where you are able to replace the background of your photo with a motion video, however, is there a way to make it where instead of replacing it with a video it replaces it with an ordinary photo? this would prove highly useful for my work. Nevertheless, i am enjoying descovering my way around this app. i enjoy it so far.
this is one of the best apps I have ever used. it's fun and creative for anyone who loves to create art. I wish the had a few more overlayers like lightning, clouds and super powers. that would be great. I give it a perfect 5 star rating. please continue to add more overlayers. Can you please add lightning overlays and a flip option for the overlays.
It's a good app, easy to use and fun. The only thing is that it's too expensive to pay a monthly fee to be able to use the full/premium features and without a watermark since I use the App only maybe once a year or so. If there was a reasonable price to purchase the app with the pen njim features then I believe more people would buy it, including me.
From the apps I tried this was the one which could do most of the things I was looking for. So overall I'm really happy. I wish you could chose areas for overlays (other apps allow that) instead of just being able to size the effect. Being able to for example mask part or the picture but have the effect in all the rest. I'd love some Halloween/fantasy themed overlays/stickers (blood, spells, cauldron, claws or the like) Being able to change the speed of overlays (especially slower flames)
You cannot interchange the effects. You can ripple, overlay, effect or backdrop. Each individual is ok, but if you want to animate (ripple) you cannot incorporate the effect or backdrop option. I do not like the limitations on not being able to combine all the options. There are other apps that do not restrict the options to only 4 categories and allow incorporating all animations. THIS IS A HUGE FLAW AND DOES NOT ALLOW THE MAXIMUM EFFECTS FOR AN AWESOME ANIMATION
Not that hard to use,made a video with several different effects in 5 minutes. Also, can we talk about the effects? They're amazing! Tge inly bad part is that to fet the full experirnce, you need to pay. But that us only a problem because i have no money. But anyway, great app, keep up the good work!!!

This program freezes crashes every time I upload an image, cannot save as gif, It worked until I bought it...
It's a really good app and very easy to use but the thing is that the characters has only one pose which for me it's not fun
Surprisingly good video and photo overaly app. If you take a lot of photos and record lots of videos, this the the video overaly app for you. You need both a picture and a video to start the app, and once you do, there is a lot do room for customization. You can even share your work with an online gallery and browse work from other people too.
It was working and tonight it suddenly stopped. freezes on "generating video", and doesnt move. I have tried many, many times! Since this was a specialty being made for 4th of July for a group, this really REALLY annoys me. I pay for the service and it's not my phone (memory is wide open for more data, and cleaned caches/cookies, I have more than plenty memory) and this is unacceptable. If your servers cant handle 2 overlay effects on a tiny square video, this is not what I purchased-refund
Simply the BEST!!!!! Has most overlay effects! Easy to use to animate pictures. Very easy to erase a stability point or an animation arrow. Has fabulous MOTION effects as well! This app has it all!!! Well worth purchasing the Lifetime/One time price or subscribing monthly (I first subscribed monthly and then purchased the Lifetime price). try it, you will not be disappointed!
The exported video is not as smooth as the in-app preview... It's jerky.
maybe it would be better if there was no premium. It makes no sense to have premium for s photo editor, and I cant buy it, Neither will my parents. It's ok, but not that great. It has the animation I want, but I need premium to use it. It's the rotating Pulse animation ;-; Please at least remove the premium from the Pulse Rotating animation in Effects. I'd appreciate it very much and I would update my review! TwT
Hello, I am yearly subscriber since November 3, 2021. Love your app and use it very often. Since today was unable to choose the lenght of video with music as before, up to 80 seconds. Tried several times to make 58 seconds long video, but could get only 23 seconds. What is going on, please explain. Thank you.
