Available hotspots for your area are updated daily keeping you current even when traveling.• Your Own Hotspots: Add your own hotspots like your home or work to Straight Talk WiFi. These hotspots are kept private to you by the app. • Hotspot Quality: Straight Talk WiFi not only monitors the signal strength of hotspots, but also their speed and access to the Internet. When quality issues arise, you are informed and given choices to handle them.• Hotspots with Sign In: Most public hotspots have a "sign in" or "terms & conditions" page which you must agree to before accessing the Internet. You can use Straight Talk WiFi to automate many of them for you. For those that cannot be automated, you are notified so you can sign in yourself.• Finding Hotspots: Go to the Map to view available hotspots. Download more hotspots for any area you wish by using the map commands.• Data Usage Statistics: Keep track of how much data has been used over cellular vs WiFi through the Statistics graph in the app.

Love this no contact company! Think I left 1 of the bigger companies about 5/6 yrs ago! Never have problems with Straight Talk like I did every month dealing with C.S. from old phone company I used to have. So much easier on me! They have Good phones& Good Customer Service! No bad experiences so far. I would def recommend anyone that is not happy with thier phone co. to switch to Straight Talk. Makes life easier just to pay $50 mnth & not worry about extra Charges added on my bill ever mnth!
straight talk use to be wonderful but the last 6 months wifi has sucked and right now sitting on my couch I have no service at all. I have been with straight talk for several years now and it's set up for automatically withdrawal but I'm done why pay for something I can't use and have told them over and over again and no help. if you do get help you can't understand them half time anyways.
I have several lawyers lined up... paid for a season pass and lost out on the item i bought the pass for because the update for my game took 4 HOURS! 2hrs past my deadline cuz of spastic 5,8,3,0,12,5,4,3,10,0,1 kb speeds. New card new device, I should not of had an issue! Now you guys have an issue!!! PS look at all the nonexisting "A Google User"s giving this 5stars, corporate REVIEW BOTTING is immoral and possibly illegal.
!!WARNING!! This is by far the worst service, the worst customer service, & the worst company EVER!! The Unlimited plan is ONLY 3G & will never reach actual 4GLTE (if you understand business its easy to understand why, shady business practices). so called unlimited is capped at 60gb. 60$ a month for slow 3G (if that) & no Hotspot (which often comes free with other SPs). Oh you replied, guess what BEEN THERE DONE THAT! you all give the same troubleshoot that doesnt work in the end! IT is useless.
Stop deleting my review. That big gray box popping up in people's faces when they're trying to do their business on their phone y'all need to fix. In a notification would be better. Not while I'm trying to watch a video. Or surf the web. We can't see what we're doing if a big gray boxes in the way. Sorry you don't like my review
I'm glad that your team got in touch with me about my concerns. I found a way to get my LG phone up and running again because of information you provide. I'm trying to figure on which option to go with as of 01/02/2021. I'm doing research on how I can just use my internet connection rather than a data plan. Thanks for responding. Shawn-admin.
Ever since I installed it I don't think I have had a bar over 1 even tho I'm paying for WiFi through Xfinity I yet to be connected to them. You guys have the right idea but needs alot of work.

4GLTE = 3G. Unlimited hotspot now capped at 10gb. StraighTalk is complete ShitTalk! 60$ for 3G and 10gb of hotspot from ShitTalk OR truly UNCAPPED 4GLTE and unlimited highspeed hotspot for 40$ from VISIBLE!? Oh, plus your 1st month is only 25$. They have good phones too or you can bring in your own!
I agree I pay for 4G every month but all I ever see is 2 to 3G is this false advertisement or What on Straight Talk's Side... I'm actually impressed by the time it took to respond to my issue I will hook you up with one more star just for quick service
I had no luck at all with this app, it would not do anything for me and I pay for wifi and straight talk phone and internet I don't understand why I even pay straight talk for their services when I'd be better off with a carrier pigeon!!!
I have had strait talk for almost a year. I have a high signal wifi. Why can't I text or receive calls through my wifi? I am current with you all now.
Just downloaded this,and tried to use it for my hotspot, but I didn't even see the app on my screen anywhere. Complete waist of time.
Hey look at straight talk shining again, i dont know why i would think their wifi would work hahaha, absolutely same signal as cell service===== zilch, nada, nothing. Complete waste of space and energy
I have a lot of stressful Times trying to go on apps I like because of Samsung keeps trying to take over my decisions about my phone settings. Not going down like that I'll destroy this phone.
straighttalk, please stop giving us useless apps and give us things we need such as VoiP phone apps and messengers. After all we've been in the 21st century for some time now.
Bad experience. I returned my straight talk mobile hotspot and $50 card but $50 card has no return policy. First month free work for one night and $50 also work for a night. I don't recommend this to no one. I give no star.
Ive had straight talk since they came out and in past 2 months have had thr worst service and the techs dont know what there doing when you call. I will be changing my service next month.
deleted app, all it kept doing was a pop up telling me to use wifi when no wifi was available, because of high data use and freezing up my phone

I have never ever gotten 4g over this service, even the listed carrier says it only supplies 3g. I need to only pay for 3g I guess.
Straight talk used to be great. Now when I turn my hotspot on no matter what it always say connected with no internet. I will be definitely switching carriers. I pay extra for the card that has 10gb of hotspot but don't ever get to use it.
