Strainprint - Cannabis Tracker App

Solid app, could use some improvements but it's very useful for tracking symptoms and figuring out dosage. There are some glitches, the worst of which being that it'll ask you to punch in info for a previous session when a current one is finished. It won't overwrite the previous one and you can go on to finish the current one after though. An option to save a preset would be helpful; would save some time not having to enter dose, method, symptoms and strain for ones you use often.

It's a great app, but a bit clunky. Minor: Can't remove a custom strain, can't seem to remove disused strain (for history, maybe?). Minor: Selection of dose type doesn't stay, goes to something else each time. Biggest problem though is this: banner/shade notification doesn't take you to the app, and if you go into the app to complete the session, it's stuck, and app has to be quit entirely in order to refresh it.

Good idea! Very buggy though. Loses login/account info frequently and is down for days when that happens. Only tracks 3 symptoms and one session at a time despite repeated requests to allow more (we don't need free points on concurrent sessions, just to be able to track). Mediocre tech support for reported issues, often told "nobody else is reporting this and we can't recreate the bug" when their forums are full of the problem being reported.

I love the idea behind the app but it's very glitchy there's many times where you have to punch in the same information multiple times just for it to actually take the information. This is incredibly frustrating and you would think that you would work to fix this but it doesn't seem to be the case at the moment. Update 5/19/2019 - Still very glitchy! Update 6/30/2019 - Seriously fix the App I'm getting tired of having to punch my information in 20 times in a row!

Pretty customizable. The screen glitches when scrolling to the bottom of the feelings page. It won't let me scroll far enough down to select some of the bubbles, i.e, headache, and lower not accessible. I'd like to see that fixed. I like the reward system but wish it would do a better job to recommend strains.

I have been going back and forth between this and another medical cannabis use tracking app. While both provide important and relevant data (assuming you're being genuine with your symptoms and effects), Strainprint's UI is clean and simple to utilize. The adding of existing inventory of cannabis strains and removing strains that are depleted is cumbersome and that would be a great improvement. Thank you for providing this app to us!

Love this app. The only thing keeping it from being 5 star worthy, in my opinion of course, is that the terpene profiles aren't part of a product's info. I'd love to be able to track those, as well as the the different types of CBD and THC that are in each strain, without having to manually type them in the notes section. Otherwise, this app offers pretty much everything you'd want to help you track, and rewards you for doing so! Awesome.

Good app, Great with a few upgrades. I think if the ability to modify a products thc/cbd % would make using the app so much better. Its a pia to start a new session of the same product but different batch with different percentages. Also, able to modify the % of found products so creating a new product isnt necessary. Lastly, it would be a 5 star app if the ability to mix products in one session. Many people, mix strains as well as stacking different modalities to treat many symptoms.

App is VERY glitchy. So very difficult to enter information where l have to click for a choice. App just doesn't respond til clicked about 9-12 times. Irritating. Also when entering a strain not on you're database, app won't let me enter proper THC/CBD values, (ie): 8.0 - 12.0%. App allows only, 8.0-1, for above value. Please fix.

I really like using this app. However, with the most recent update, I can't select the proper strain. My list isn't there when tracking a session. Edit* they fixed the app and a lot of other glitches, yay!

Used to be great. Now it crashes ever other time I open it. Notifications are intermittent and rare. Keeps telling me I haven't finished my last session, but when I click to complete it, it tries to finish the session i just started

12/7-Measurements aren't small enough. Minimum is 0.1 gram, I routinely only smoke 0.05-0.07 gram. 11/7-Glitchy session recording has gotten worse. Now it won't let me finish sessions at all; doesn't save & gives me "session in progress" warning. Logging out & reinstalling doesn't fix it; still says I have a session in progress. Notifications don't send. 7/30-It's ok. Useful for tracking when not glitchy. No way to delete sessions that are way over the allowed time.

I like to concept but there is some serious glitches... I'm trying to start my first tracking experience but it won't accept the information of the product I'm using... It's a great concept but it needs serious updates or bug fixes...

Forced to make an account. Not acceptable. There shoild be basic functionality without you having my email, etc. If i decide i like the app then later i should be able to make an account to unlock features such as syncing and cloud storage etc. Because you are forced to make an account and there is no way around that fact, this company is more interested in extracting your data, rather than giving you a good experience. Forced login in 2020... sheesh.

Edit: I've bumped the app up to 3 stars simply for the excellent customer service experience so far. If they work out the issue I've been having ill gladly update my review again. I am still fond of the UI and again, excellent customer service.

It would be nice if the app had more strains included and was say linked to the leafly or wikileaf strain database which would also include more growers. Also adding categories, as scrolling through thousands of strains alphabetically will take quite awhile. The app is a great idea for patients, enthusiasts and recreational users to track their usage and effects via each strain and amount taken

LOVE this app. I'm a heavy medical user and strain print has helped me find the right strain for all my needs. The points system is an amazing bonus, I've redeemed a lovely shirt and hat as well as the best smell proof case ever, it fits my whole kit. Perfect. Thanks for making such an amazing app!

No way to add missing products easily, and trying to search for products is an exercise in extreme frustration. It's so laggy and unresponsive, it feels like my phone is dying.

My favourite app to keep track of the Cannabis I consume on a regular basis. Pros: + Easy to learn how to use + Just the right amount of required information (e.g. strain name, THC & CBD %, grower/producer name etc.) Cons: - Difficult to change aforementioned information once you've started tracking a session - Interface is very sluggish on my Nokia 6.1, Android Pie **Note: I'm using the CannaFarms-branded version cuz their logo looks cool and I wanted to sign up with them at some point.

I love the app, but I need the ability to track more than one session at a time. My doctor had told me it's best to do them together for the best benefit. Please help because I'd hate to have to find another app, yours I'd gorgeous and easy to use.

It's a little glitchy but I see Devs are aware. I love this app but some popular strains aren't listed and I have to make one. Update your strains plz. Other than the strain list, which does have most stuff listed, I really like this app.

The session tracker is being very glitchy. Also, I use both oil and herb at the same time; could you make it so I can track two sessions at once instead of waiting for one to finish? Because I forget.

Amazing tracking app. Please adjust screen size for Pixel 3 xl. I can't use the top bar functions without turning off my notch. 😁

Ive used strainprint since it was released and i absolutly love it. Its helped track exactly what works best for me for every symptom i suffer from and getting rewards for using the app is amazing. So far ive gotten a grinder, a t-shirt,a vape, and so much more. The personal thank yoy notes you get with the rewards are such a nice touch as well.

The product list is so small. None of the products I use are on the list. I do get them from license dispensaries and have my medical card. would be better if the product list was larger.

Super helpful in helping find the strains best suited to your needs. Keeping an active log really helps, plus you get free stuff just for logging your sessions!

Great concept. Needs more than one feedback request at a later time. 1 out of 4 options work on the explore option.

Excellent for tracking a ton of relevant information, group chats and tons of strains to explore or add your own product. It's great!

Awesome app people new to medical cannabis, and patients who want to track efficacy of the strains they already use and amounts used. Recommends strains based on how well it works for others. Collect and use Strainpoints for rewards as well.

Very easy to use. Helps me keep track of what works and what doesnt. Point system works as well. Got my free grinder with my points. Arrived in less then a week.
