Stranger Things: The Game

Awesome and a fun game ! Its style is simple yet very enjoyable. Very simple controls, a lot of characters and skills. While its a bit hard to to get used to the controls and perform combos, but by time and practice you will get the hang of it. Also I didn't know about the show before, now i really want to watch it.

This is one of my all time favourite Mobile games!! If you a fan of the show or just 8-bit style games it is perfect. Very easy to play and excellent controls, a brilliant adapted story to follow, superb visuals and graphics (for 8-bit), it has all you can want from a game you can play on your phone.

I've used this app on android phone and tablet; and iphone. I feel that I have more advantages on phones, than on tablet, even though screen is better on tablet. Better maneuverability. Easier to repeat a sequence until beating the level. Even though it sounds complicated, I thoroughly enjoy the challenge. Thanks.

I think this is a great game with multiple quests and chapters with collectables. My favorite part is how it's an open world with some limitations. The only down side is when I try to complete 100% of the story I can't complete it because when I collect nails for Steve, he doesn't have a speech bubble for the quest and I tried to reset the bubble and the game completely, but nothing works. Hope there's something to fix this problem. Overall the game is great.

Addictive and fun. It's Stranger Things meets The Escapist meets Super Mario 2. You're not weighted down with instructions. You go, explore, and figure it out, but you don't get stuck in one spot. You explore the map and when you hit a block, you can move on and try another direction or another mission. Addictive, I reiterate, because it is--extremely!

I loved this game. Not only is it a joy for fans (like me!) but newcomers who love classic 8-bit games would sure have fun with it too. The controls were smooth and worked well on my phone and the gameplay was well paced and gives plenty for players to do (incuding optional quests). Graphics are simple but the 8-bit is perfect as the series is set in the 80s. The characters look so adorable in pixel form! Overall: Great job! Really recommend it, can't wait to see more! 👍🏻

Best. Ever. It's free. No ads, either! It's got simple controls and a story that you fall in love with. Unique characters, abilities, quests. Great, engaging puzzles and combat. Simply walking around is fun. I usually hate these old pixelated games - they're impossible to beat. This one isn't. I wanted to keep playing even after it was over. Sadly I'm not one to be entertained the second time round on the same thing, but now I really wish I was.

AWESOME! Cannot get enough of this game. Great music, graphics and controls. Brings back memories of my youth. Lots of extra challenges inside the main game which keeps you entertained for ages, so you can dip in out. Characters have different abilities so you can switch between them depending on what you need to accomplish. Only tiny criticism would be the map. Labelling areas would be helpful.

I really enjoyed the game. The storyline was compelling; however, you need to watch the show to understand some of the references. The controls are pretty intuitive for mobile. I wish there were more games like this available without all the microtransactions or ads. Best free game experience you'll ever play. Beat classic in 8 hours in my first play through over the last 2 days. Couldn't put it down.

I loved the game, it was hard to figure out some of the puzzles so sometimes it wasn't just a quick thing to play in between errands. The fact that it was 100% free AND didn't have ads was awesome. The only 2 things is the map should show the pools and be labeled better, and to help figure out what side quests are missing. There is no check list for those and some of them are key if you want all the heart pieces. I'm stuck at 99.3% complete but I have all the hearts so now what Lol

One of the best games I've ever played. I really loved it and I'm struggling to find another game just as good. The controls were neat and the game plot slightly different from the actual series but it was still amazing. I really wish it was longer though. The secondary quests were easy but finding the extra items (gnomes, eggos and hearts) was quite hard. I didn't reach 100% of game but that's fine. I also like how the lives are not limited. Finished it in less than 2 days

pretty fun. i liked how slick it was to switch between the characters, though i mostly played as Nancy. the last level has two bugs in it, including an enemy who continually gives you keys and a laser that doesn't work as intended. i wish there had been more complicated puzzles to hide the colkectibles rather than uninteresting fetch quests, and it's bizarre the game gives you a new character after the game is over and therefore nothing to do with her.

Very much a Zelda-like, what with all the heart pieces, side quests, ammo upgrades, dungeons each with new abilities, etc. Also not too long (about 6 hours of gameplay for 100%). I really enjoyed it, but the only qualm I have is the control scheme - because it's touch screen point-and-click action in real-time, often times your hand will be covering much of the screen, and precise controls can be rather frustrating to input.

Amazing retro game any 90's kid will adore. No ads or in game purchases and addictive as hell. It nods to the series while doing it's own thing which is fine. My only criticism would be around the ending - you are at 100% when all side quests are done, of which there are plenty. You don't really need to complete them to successfully complete the main story, so after defeating the final boss I didn't have an ending and got stuck doing sidequests only. It needs a more final 'wrap'

Really cool. Graphics are awesome, I haven't watched the series, but I like the story line, a great challenge for those who seek so, and finally... BEING PIXELIZED!!! 😍 because nowadays, you hardly see pixelized games with great quality, gameplay, and graphics. I definitely recommend this game to all of you Stanger things fans and non-fans of the show.

When you're in the game too long(I think that's the cause for these problems), the characters become unresponsive for a few seconds, enemies glitch out,and the boss fight audio corrupted(?), Sorry if this wasn't enough to help resolve the issues. Overall I think this is a great well thought out game! I've been having a lot of fun so far and I can't wait to play more of it!

it is a fun creative game that holds a lot of little games to play. on my olay through I got 90% through then finished the game and went on to finish all of everything else to 100% the game. my advise on completing the game is to talk with everyone go everywhere and be very observant to your surroundings. I personally had no issue with any bugs or anything that made the game unplayable. my only suggestion would be if there was a fast way to travel across the map. they have the bikes and eleven.

This game is amazing. It's not too difficult, but not too easy. The map is just large enough encourage and reward exploration, but not so large that it gets tedious to go back and forth. The character interactions are awesome and amusing. My only complaint is that there is far more bird punching than I would reasonably expect from a Stranger Things game.

I really love this game. It was a good combination of puzzles and cute graphics. I dedicated time to finish this game 100% because that's just how cute it is. The storyline is also really good and I love how in different dungeons I can really feel the characters' teamwork. Only problem would be that the controls were a bit iffy, but I guess I was just too nervous and excited while playing so I kept messing up. This game will really test your patience, too!

The Stranger Things game is a really fun "old school" type game. The tasks are fairly simple but it requires a lot of in-game grinding (i.e. travelling from place to place in search of items and then revisiting those places cuz new things appear). Love that there are no micro transactions too (literally a free game with no ads!). You collect various characters as you go along (if you collect all Eggos, you get Eleven that only comes at the end of the game). Good game for fans of the TV show

It's an enjoyable enough old style game, bit light on depth and relies on a relatively decent sized world, with each screen having multiple objects only certain characters can access. I found it well designed enough, but it got a little repetitive fairly quickly. My 6 year old consistently enjoys playing it and has yet to get bored though. It's worth a go.

Perfect game. The pixel style gaming graphics and gameplay really take you back and also immerses you into the world of Stranger Things. The Classic mode emphasizes this. Even if you've never seen the show, it's a good stand alone game that I highly recommend. The most difficult part in the whole game was definitely with Dustin in the library. It made me play that dungeon in a way that was so different from my preferred way of obliterating everyone. It was quite interesting.

Really well coded app with lots of time taken to include the whole story of Stranger Things. There is one small detail/issue I personally have seen, but from my own experiences, does not affect gameplay. Issue is that on devices with a notch: screen area in the notch that the game does not normally display anything, shows a random part of the loading screen. At most it is a cosmetic bug I hope can be sorted with a possible new update with more content soon? Season 3 has been confirmed! Wooo!

Fantastic little game love it , no annoying ads just simple fun, disagree about the challenge aspect , more about memory , who needs what and where they need it , simple gate puzzles , but defintely worth downloading and playing , i would even pay a donation or fee for it. are you working on anything else , nothing on your website. oh and if you havent seen the series watch it , very different , well done everyone thanks

A great game! Retro style, suits old-time gamers very much. Story is also great, but might be a bit confusing for player who didn't watch the series, like me (since they didn't really explained the connection between characters in trivial things, such as last name). Still a very good game and now I'd like to watch the series, lol.

AMAZING! Modern Masterpiece, all the way!!! Not to mention games of this platform, and format basically do not exist on modern machines, and none of the older ones EVER looked this good. Might as well be on a cartridge, because not ONE single ad, or microtransaction. Beginning to end immersive gameplay. Must have been a passion project. Absolutely one of the first masterpieces of the modern era! This, and "Magic Rampage" are MUST PLAY life experiences!!!
