Weak-Kneed and Feeble. I've had this game for years, and hardly play it. Despite what the developer claims, his updates do absolutely nothing to improve the pathetic and inept AI that continues to fall for even the most obvious tricks and traps. This game does have good graphics, but unless you're 5 years old or less, the game itself will not present a challenge in the least.
It's a nice game but in campaign 2 it does not go further after winning the Paris game, it jumps back two games and is stuck there, so I have to repeat that game all the time. It is that part where you have to get the flag in a U shaped closed area on the right of the screen.
I un-installed it one day later. As a huge fan of stratego this is a disappointment. 1. You can't save a starting layout 2. As others have said, the AI can repeat the same move infinitely but you cannot. This is one way the AI cheats. It cheats in ways i wont talk about here.This leads to constant stalemate which you can never end without giving the AI a fair trade. Even when you've cornered it. 3. The campaign is a joke. The levels designs showed some promise but the execution just isn't there
No sooner than I installed this game, I was uninstalling and requesting a refund. Be aware that you have to pay to unlock the other campaings. Here I was so happy to find a 'Droid version of one of my childhood favorite boardgames, just to be greeted with a popup letting me know I would be spending more money to unlock other campaigns. Uninstalled and requested a refund from Google. Devs should sell the full version. No one likes piecemeal, open ended purchases
Pretty decent game, however the movement controls are extremely sensitive and there will be times your pieces move in a direction you didn't want them to which could easily cost you the game. A patch to make them less sensitive and/or maybe move the controls from the pieces to a d-pad somewhere on the screen would get it 5 stars from me
Amazing rendition of the classic! Campaigns are a great tutorial but themselves! I believe it would be w quite easy to add the following features to make it superb: 1. Custom piece placement (create your own and opponent scenarios), and 2. Two-player Bluetooth [/wifi] mode. All the best and infinite blessings :)
Glitch and A.I So, I see what others are saying first on A.I never really going offensive. That is something I've noticed. Secondly, the main reason I chose to review, I noticed the A.I. can get away with going back and forth the same direction as many times as they want without having to alter. However, the player is told they can't do that. That needs to be fixed I thank those who created this as I do love Stratego, I grew up playing it and very much enjoyed the whole strategy of it
The last update broke functionality and developers response was shocking! Prior to the last update you had the ability to disable sounds from within the app. This ability is now broken & developers response was "either mute or turn down your system volume". Really!?!
Do not buy this game, because AI's don't play by the rules of the game, while human players are not allowed to move back and forth within three moves, also the game is too easy to beat, even on the highest difficulty with the AI players not doing anything to defend there flag! Please don't waist your money!
This app has bloody irritating feature that the settings menu is completely inaccessible because an ad is placed over it. It's a good game, but this has irritated me so much that I no longer play it.
Pretty fun but the highest level AI is still not very difficult. Games lost have usually been a result of unrealistic moves by an opponent.
Sound and music stay on even after turning them off in settings. Very annoying. AI not very good either.
The tutorial is very clear. I am 90% done with campaign and havent encountered any bugs. The AI seems good: neither stupid or invincible.
Computer AI is so dumb. Always easy wins. Also, no multiplayer. Not worth more than $1
There's a rule where you can't make the same move 4 times because they don't want you to chase the computer. But the computer doesn't have to follow the same rules apparently...what want is an online multiplayer mode.
Good for the price. Great inclusion with different board configurations. Ai is decent enough, but too easy even on hard.
Quick,fun,makes you think,would be good if we could play against other real players online and not just a computer,and be linked to facebook and have names,title,rankings,world wide against other player's or alliances,
The Achievements part of the game seems broken and the developers aren't updating the game anymore.
Most achievements don't work. You get within one but can never actuall get them. If you don't care about those is fun game.
Not challenging at all. Computer just moves pieces around never goes on offensive.
computer movements are really dumb. It's too easy to win on even the hardest setting
There is only one reason this game is getting such a bad review. The Computer doesn't have to obey the movement rules. If you fix that I'll fix this review.
It won't load, black screen of nothing. Don't waste your money. Such a shame I loved this game a kid

Poor A.I. The game design is great, but even on expert, the computer is way too cautious. It makes no offensive moves. Even when there are obvious paths to your flag. It is easy to beat if you are just slightly patient. Also, the lack of a two player option, whether online or via Bluetooth is a serious weakness. That alone would propel it to a 4-star game. Better A.I. would make it 5 star.
