Just another app that expects you to pay a subscription forever just to run it on your hardware and data plan. No thanks! Google Maps and Google Fit are the industry standard and are free, so I'll just stick with those. Yes, I realize this is what "all" the fitness apps are doing, but it doesn't make it right. It should be a one-time fee for the app. Uninstalling (just like I did all three others).
It's unstable. Sometimes it works, but it startedcto have issues for 3 days now. It showed me It's counting an activity in the notification bar although I'm at home and didn't start any activities. And no way to stop it as it doesn't appear when I open the application. I uninstalled and will install it back to give it another chance
I used Strava for years then stopped when they put previously free features behind a subscription. I loved the app before. After using several other running apps I have come back to Strava because it is accurate and user friendly. It keeps my runs and hikes and the maps are accurate and useful for when you are in some backwoods areas. Still mad about the changes years ago, but it really is a good app.
Sometimes strava is a good app to use to record the times and the distances for your runs, however most of the time it has some problems that make me feel really annoying. I don't know it's the problem of my phone or the app. It always has inaccuracy when it detects my position. The tracker didn't even move when I was running. It couldn't show me the actual distances that I have ran within that time. It takes me to use up more time just to run for the distances that I have targeted.
I've had nothing but positive interactions with Strava and the app. No syncing issues, no connection issues, and just no issues in general. I don't use it to record, so I can't comment on that aspect. But the free times I did, it worked fine.
This app is good and all, but theres one problem. A few days ago, i ran 4km in the morning. When I was done, i forgot to save the title and just swiped away the app. After a while, I came back to the app to change the title. But when i saved it, and refreshed the page, it said on the top 'Yesterday at 11.32 p.m.' WTH! Please fix this problem.🙏 Without it, this app is perfect.
Great app. Works well for the most part. The ski/snowboard setting needs some work though. Supposedly lifts are supposed to be excluded from the total distance travelled but they aren't. Also, the snowboard option has barely any segments and the ski one had a ton. The ski ones should be synced with the snowboard ones so that snowboarders can view those segments without having to create new versions of the exact same segment
Recent change to notifications requiring you to open every event in order to make notification icon clear is very annoying. I don't want to open every event. Once I have viewed the notification list and gone back to main screen the icon should clear. This is how it used to work and recent change is poor.
On the desktop and mobile apps there should be a way to clean up gps glitches where it shows you running 10sec kilometers and teleporting on the map, or at least these shouldn't mess up your estimated PB's. The galaxy watch app needs a lot more work, it doesn't show anything much on the workout screen and has no preferences at all, would be great if it could have a map to lead you through your created/saved routes.
Frustrating. The 'keep screen on' function doesn't work and not being able to edit your own comments is just ridiculous. Having to delete and start over is very frustrating. Auto pause simply doesn't work and that's a pain asK have to take my phone out of the waterproof case as well as remove my gloves just to record the pause. It never used to be this bad!
Looking for and selecting segments on the map is very difficult, the app does not seem to recognize when you are choosing a segment to highlight. It seems to be very random if it reacts or not when you push on the segment, and if it does it often shows you another segment that was nearby.
Bought Galaxy Watch 4 classic, upgrading from S3 Frontier. The Strava app from the galaxy store used on the Frontier was far better. Strava app for the Watch 4 classic via Google play is nothing short of terrible. No average speed/pace. Data is significantly different to Garmin, overall a very poor app and upgrade.
Cycling app. Excellent app with many great features. I'm able to connect with friends, share achievements and challenge myself and others. Excellent data from each ride which I'm able to share with friends.
The goals and training log should absolutely be free features. The app isn't intuitive when you want fine details. I have no intention of keeping the subscription after the free trial.
I was going to sub to this as I found it better than heytap with my Oppo watch, sadly it has stopped syncing any of my runs. I tried restarting phone, restarting watch and disconnecting and reconnecting and nothing. Back to the search for a new app.
Used to be excellent. Now they removed many features from the free version, it is becoming annoying. What you see is subscription ads with inaccessible features everywhere. For example, the training log was by far my most used feature. Now that they removed it, finding an activity in the past is becoming painful. Especially for the mobile version since you have to scroll down every single one, each occupying the entire screen. Paid plan more expensive than Amazon prime, totally unjustified.
