Upgrade: Perform the firmware upgrade of Streamcast dongle through mobile device. Download the latest firmware from www.streamteck.com and put the file on device's storage, launch the APP and browse to the file for firmware upgrade.

I paid over $60 for this stupid device and I hooked it up to my tv. It tells me to scan but it does nothing. No options for settings, going to another screen, or fixes. I initially had chrome cast but here after a recent update it no longer allows me to stream movies from the play store that I bought. That was the only reason I bought chromecast. If i just wanted to stream youtube my tv already has youtube on it, I would have never spent all the money I spent on chromecast. This is rediculous. You have all these apps for streaming but none of them work. Then our only options are these two devices and neither one of them work. Why are you having me waste money HELP! Have one device and one app that actually works and dont take away feature after people spent their money for those features from that device. Would I buy a toaster that someone across the world could turn off the toasting mechanism on, No I would not!
Using HTC One M7 with WDTV. Sound cuts out and unable to connect at times. Thanks to the developer and for providing simple instructions on website. Will contact support for issues. Sweet app though. Maybe I should purchase dongle. Not sure if it would make any difference.
Doesn't work with my device. It says to connect to television and press scan. I connect my device with T. V. But when I press scan it doesn't do anything.
I am using Samsung nexsus and I have LG LA42660S . it doesn't work this program on my TV.

I have tried to connect using multiple devices. At this point, I'm assuming this is just a bad joke.
Dont work trues to connect to dail server whatever that is and fails. Then drops out.
It pops up on my LG SMART TV SCREEN but it keeps failing

I'm using an HTC one trying to connect to a Sony bravia, every time I try to link them it says connection failed.
It's waste of time, it never able to connect, always fail to connect Uninstalled right away
Don't waste your data or storage space on this app. Won't even connect to my Chromecast if it where to save my life.
Dial server failed then it wouldn't detect my TV so I just uninstalled
If there is provision for give nil stat or half star then I would happy to do this. No thing happens by using this app.remove this from play store.
Pretty much says it all. It can't connect to lg smart tv that uses webos
On my galaxy S5 it found my sony wifi blue ray but said search dial failed. Uninstalled it.
Doesnt matter how many times you change settings. Scan never works !!

Bought a Panasonic smart Blu Ray player with this installed but when I try to use my galaxy s4 with it it errors and claims the wifi connection on the phone is shut off. Which it is still on.
Just flashes up a message about PNP WiFi not working and nothing else.

You should go to settings>>share and connect go down to screen share, and oh my would you look at that, you already had Miracast on your phone. Turn it on, then click it again to search for compatible devices. You're welcome.
