Streamlabs OBS Remote Control

Bugs keeping it from being useful... When trying to use as a "StreamDeck" alternative, once a Scene is selected, all other Scenes disappear... Not useful at all for live streams since u can't select another Scene after the first one.

Qr code scanner doesn't work I can't log into my account it shows the same annoying message of "please make sure you are connected to the same wifi as your desktop" it's just a waste of space on your phone and doesn't even work if I could I'd leave 0 stars.

3rd time I've tried installing this app and uninstalled almost instantly. Lets me sign in and link my twitch account no problem. But then when I go to scan the QR code it fails. Tells me to be on the same WiFi as my desktop. Which I am. Tried typing in the details manually. Didn't work. Tried clicking other buttons like Support. Says link couldn't open. I've uninstalled, reinstalled. Cleared memory and cache. Turned my phone on and off. Nothing works. So at the moment it's a useless app.

Can't connect to my streamlabs desktop. Both QR code and manual fail. I have tried refreshing and even restarting the devices and to no avail. This is honestly sad because I enjoyed them as a streaming service.

I enjoy the app but there are glitches in it that does takes away from the overall experence. That and i feel the annual fees a little high for my tastes.

I wish I could say how amazing or bad, or even mediocre the features of this app are, but I can't connect it to my stream labs desktop. I've tried generating a new api token, copy/pasting from PC into a mobile accessible document for manually connecting. Nothing works. I'm over it.

Does not connect to my desktop. It comes up with an alert that says to click there for more information. When I click it nothing happens.

Cannot use, it says make sure you streamlabs desktop app is using the same WiFi when my phone and laptop are on the same WiFi, I've tried turning off my mobile data and it still isn't working

Works great. Gives you all the scenes/transitions and everything else you have set up on streamlabs with the easy push of a button.. ONLY reason i am giving a 2 star is I switched from a Galaxy s20+ to a Galaxy s22 Ultra and when I tried to link it.. it does NOTHING.. relinked on my s20 in a matter of seconds... ive tried multiple fixes but to no avail. Is there an update in the future being put in the works? Or am I going to jave to use my old phone as a stream deck from now on?

Never connects correctly. Should be able to connect when I have my phone plugged into my computer since I don't like doing everything over Wi-Fi hardline is so much better. I don't think I'll be reupping my sub with streamlabs again.

Doesn't connect to streamlabs via QR code or manual. Those who got it to work in the reviews were perhaps lucky.

I really love this app! It makes streaming so much easier when I can control the stream from my phone 👌

It doesn't want to connect when I scan the QR code or even when I put in the information for a manual connection, I don't know how to fix it 😭😭😭

the mobile app wouldn't connect to the desktop software, both devices are on the same network

This is such a helpful tool for streamers especially when you don't have the money to get a nice Streamdeck, they could have made it exclusive for that product and you would be forced into getting one, but they didn't, so kudos to them for not choosing greed in this situation. Clap clap clap

Works flawlessly (as far as i can tell). Way more convenient than remembering hotkeys on the keyboard. Considering that its free compared to hardware versions, this definitely is 5 star worthy.

This app was great at first. It did have issues with a wonky QR reader, but worked after a bit with no issue. But after the most recent update, the app just displays a grey screen on both my phone and my tablet. It used to work on both, no problem. I made sure it's on the same WiFi and I tried reinstalling with no luck. The app is now totally unusable.

All of the sudden I am no longer able to long in with Twitch. When I do so, it takes me to a page where I either have to purchase Streamlabs Prime, or use a code to get it - which I don't have. When click the "X" to go back to the deck screen (which I assumed would work), it asks me to log in again. This doesnt help when I stream computer games that I cannot alt+tab from to change scenes. I've submitted a ticket to support but nothing yet.

This app is wonderful! Really helpful. Although I had a issue for a long time I just figured out, mentioning it as I see others have the same issue, I was unable to complete the first step of scanning the QR code for two versions, basically it just sat on the screen not registering anything. Figured out what it was, and its weird, your computer where streamlabs is hosted needs to be set as on a Private Network (not public). As soon as I did that change the QR code scanner worked automagically!

Have been using this app for many months now, and it's worked flawlessly. Until today. I uninstalled, and reinstalled the latest version, and now I get no buttons available. What got broken? I am using version 3.2.22+35. I believe this is the latest version, uploaded just yesterday. Update: Changing my rating back to a 5. Thanks for the quick response and fix. Worked like a charm. Thanks. One suggestion I could make: It would be great that when in studio mode, there is an indication as to which scene is "active", and which is being previewed, ready for transition. Different colors perhaps, or some added icon on the button to indicate its current state.

It won't let me connect my YouTube account because it states that Google doesn't trust this app. I've tried connecting Streamlabs but I've got no response. The idea of the app is cool but if it would actually work it would be even better. I had no problem connecting my twitch account but that's not what I wanted to do. It also won't let me scan my code. It continuously says there's an error because both devices aren't on the same network when they clearly are.

So, I tried downloading it earlier, it wouldn't connect. Emailed them and got a response right away with 3 normal problems. The deck app was it. My issue was the firewall settings. You need to change it from public to private. And it should connect. I haven't fully used it, only tried it out, seems like it'll work great. I'll update after I use it and change my star rating.

Can use the app to control most things. Unfortunately, switching scenes doesn't seem to be a feature of this software. This is one of the main things I would like to do, and this an app either doesn't do it, or it's not intuitive. P.S. it also doesn't reliably mute and unmute audio sources.

While it worked on one of my devices, the lack of the pre-L camera API like in the other bigger app makes it not worth it for me. The device I wanted to use this app with needs that feature. Otherwise this would be perfect! The other app has the same remote, so I'll stick with it for now but will keep this installed to see if it gets updated.

Used to be a great app. Now, the app is inaccessible and not usable at all. The app fails to scan the QR code when every other device I have can do so easily. Manual connection doesn't work either. I've found no support except for an old article on how to connect it manually. Streamlabs' only response to the bad comments is just variations of "We fixed the issue" but absolutely nothing is fixed. Kinda sad that such a huge company fails at small tasks. It's sad that third party apps work better.

Edit: this issue has been fixed. Still at four stars simply because if it broke once, it has lost some of my confidence in the app. I would be hesitant to use it if there are other options available. Previously worked flawlessly. Recent update made the app completely nonfunctional. Infinite login loop with no explanation of error.

Absolutely horrible. Later update: you get another star dev for doing your best and coming back to all these reviews, asking ppl to try again. That is sweet of you. Will try the app again tonight and will adjust my rating accordingly. UPDATE: although Streamlabs on Desktop presents the QR code, does not connect after scanning it. Same connection, the router is tied w an Ethernet cable to the PC and the phone uses the same internet connection/WiFi. Does not work.
