Streets of Rage 2 Classic

I find the controls to be just little bit more stiff than using a controller, but that is unfortunately to be expected with touch controls. I recommend enlarging the buttons and moving them around for a better fit if need be. But the biggest problem I ran into was after completing the first stage, I pressed the Save icon a few times. Nothing was happening, but the app closed. I reopened it, but my progress had not been saved. I'll raise the score if the situation improves.

I had this game growing up and was so happy to have it now. There have been no problems up until a few days ago. After The 1st level I noticed all of the sudden I can't move the character the way I want in any direction its like it freezes up and I've tried deleting it and then reloading and then that didn't work. I dont want to play until this bug I'd fixed so that's too bad because I've had it on my phone for soo long, and if it doesn't get fixed then I'll have to delete it. ☹

Difficult to express how much I loved this game as a kid. Gameplay, story, collaborative play, the MUSIC. Ridiculously good. So, that's all still here, but on an Android at least, I can't get beyond the second level before it starts glitching. So, wish it was 5 star, but not yet / got a few bugs. But you should still download it anyway.

Lmfao the cheat code still works the one that join with the host just need to hold down and A+B to able to select very easy/mania and having 9 lives !! Oh and the control are very cranky and unresponsive so it is way harder to play.

I have no idea why its okay for the game to become unresponsive all of a sudden, and then the app has to close down. Its such a shame. This didn't happen before and now it happens EVERY SINGLE game. Its become the norm, to play it until it freezes and becomes unresponsive and then click off it. This a childhood game which was a brilliant game, now, to have my memories overridden by thinking about these constant freezes.. Is just ruining the whole game.

stopped working half way though the first level, freezes on level 2 on every bike. Trash fix it. One plus 8 not the newest phone but not the worst. Walking is impossible the direction you want to go. Can't go down for sure. Forward is about all you can do, until it freezes.

This was my favorite game of all time. Now the controls stick and glitch halfway through the first level. Please fix this error. I wouldn't mind changing my feedback.

Keeps freezing, losing ability to control character, doesn't save. Was really looking forward to this, played it as a kid. Disappointed, but will probably keep messing around with it.

Same as SOR 1 they stopped caring for servers and now coop is no longer a feature. Please remove the multi-player tags. This game no longer supports multi-player...

I absolutely love the game. It brings back memories from when I was a kid. I have no complaints, except for the last few days the player does not move correctly. It just moves randomly no matter what direction u apply. Then it freezes all together. So I will not be playing the game until this problem is fixed. It's just odd that it has all the sudden started, and im clearly not the only one. Please fix, otherwise I will delete and just stick to playing it on my Sega console.

Was happy to have a game that I grew up playing but when the controls froze on me before the end of the first stage of the first level, I'm a little upset i bought it at all. Hoping it doesnt happen when i open it back up.

A decent port of my favourite game of all time. The touch screen controls work surprisingly well, and the ability to switch your character at any point (after watching a 30 second ad, even in the ad free version) is a really nice addition. Wireless multiplayer is a welcome addition too! While not the definitive version of this game, it was definitely worth £1.99 to me for what this is. Good stuff!

Streets of Rage 2 - now available for your Android smartphone or tablet! Who would've thought?! 😀 This is one of the best retro side-scrolling beat-'em-ups ever made; it even gave Final Fight a run for it's money when it was initially released... This is the best one in the series, imo. You guys did an excellent job in converting this over; sideways mode on our phones and an extra button, even! Absolutely killing it - just like with the Golden Axe Classics. 5 stars all the way; thanks Sega!

This a great addition to Sega's classic lineup. The controls are a bit strange. I think it's the lack of tactile response on a touch screen that throws me off. I think Sega should supplement their classics android games with a lisenced Bluetooth 6 button. I would buy it and I guess that's what's stopping me from buying this.

The buttons need to be twice as big as they are. Your fingers are there anyway, so larger buttons won't block the screen. Also, the D-pad rarely works like you want. You want to walk a direction and it jumps. Jump kicks are a 50/50 chance it will actually work. It's too bad the controls are such a let down to a fun classic game.

Great for nostalgia but meant to be played with the old joy pad controller. Touch screen controls not as good. initially gave 4 star reduced to two stars because unplayable due to lag / unresponsive controls since last update. definitely try for a good while before buying! fortunately I did not pay to go ad free, maybe the ads causes the issues. anyway, uninstalled now.

Lots of fun. A little difficult on mobile but still brings this amazing game to life.

This one is incredibly laggy on my phone. It takes almost half a second for my punches to register. Never had this issue with Beyond Oasis. Shinobi 3 next please. Oh and another thing, please redesign the on-screen buttons layout so that they're away from the game screen and appropriate size for the average thumbs, or if possible a way so they can be mapped to hardware buttons. There's no reason for it to look like mega drive controller on a mobile phone.

Game would be good if you could make it playable. Game crashes everytime before you can even save it or sign in. When fixed it will be fun. Pssshh

The character cant be controll after stage 2. There is an issue in save data progress. The ads wont came up. I cant save my progress

I love the game and the story but fix the lagging and bugs and freezing that's all that i can say.

A classic, exactly as I remember. I am very impressed with the developers, if you love retro gaming this is a must have.

If it had KISHI support, a Razer controller made for phones, I would give it a 5. Lack of controller support brings it down one star, but without it, I can't really fo the classic SoR extended combo: jabbing while tapping forward between each punch. It's the safest way to deal with many big HP enemies for the first 4 missions. Trying to do that on touch controls is rough! So that costs the other star. Otherwise, it's a beautiful, nostalgic, great game. I wonder if the other SEGA games support...
