This is a very fair but challenging game. The sensitivity of the throw dynamics makes this feel a lot like real bowling. No pointers, no timing wheels, it's just super sensitive to your finger movement. When the ball leaves your hand, there is nothing you can do to correct your shot, just like in life. If you are looking for easy strikes, this is not for you. If you are looking for a bowling simulation that won't get boring, you have to try this.
Where do all the extra selected balls go to after each purchase ? I play with the free pass plan and I order the 80 balls all the time and don't seem to be able to find them once they're revealed to me. I keep seeing the same ones in my list. Is it that the list can only support a limited amount of bowlers ? Can you help explain it to me ? Ps the game is fun and challenging enough.
Decent game that can be completed in a few days. Finding the sweet spot for striking is not too easy, not too hard, graphics are appealing, and the modes of play are good. Gets a little annoying watching the NPC do their emotes, and the instant replays of each strike from multiple angles without the ability to toggle this off. Developer note: This game is very glitchy on my phone, however if I disable sound FX and Music it runs perfectly.
Well I have Uninstalled it and reinstalled it so many times I've lost count. As angry as I got at pins not falling when they should or being put back on the lane when it should have been down. I've finally found the right spot where I've scored 150 points on the short lane, and 300 on the 12 lane....all strikes! And after letting those opponents Avatars get to me with their jumping up and down when they get a strike or spare, now I laugh at them shaking their head in disbelief..they lost.🤣
I love to bowl, but when I'm challenging one of the avatars, I get the feeling it's a no win situation! There are frames that are impossible for the pins left standing to be standing. I'm a physics major, not to mention I had a 4.0 GPA throughout high school and a 3.8 in college. The line I throw is not lying, the pins CANNOT BE STANDING ! Yet they do, time and time again. I don't like it
HOW DO I PLAY ONLINE?? LIKE THE DESCRIPTION SAYS IT CAN..ALSO WHY CAN'T I ADD A NAME TO MY CHARACTER?? I wasn't yelling if it looks that way my apologies to y'all...I like the game I play the living $$#! Outta this.. I've a few more trophies to win umm 4 more then I'll have filled up the trophy room, but I haven't done "WIN ONLINE"" I can't figure out how to do online and actually play others pls help so I can give an awesome review
Nothing has changed. Boring, boring, boring! You still don't have control of the path of your bowling ball. No imagination! Every games the same! It starts you off behind, and you have to catch up! Boring, the same thing over and over! Don't bother playing. Its a waste of time!
Love the game but it changed my name to "you" that's why I'm giving 3 stars in lieu of 5 stars. I want my name back. The pin moves 2 spots and when the rack comes down it moves it back or it's tilted and the rack picks it up. I STILL WANT MY NAME BACK!!!
GREATEST BOWLING GAME EVER. I only wish the online bowling was active as shown in the achievements. Plus keeping a history of your top 5 game scores. If it can give you your average that should be an easy add on.
I love games with no ads and no pay to play ! This is a somewhat simple but belive it or not a very realistic bowling simulator ! After the ball is launched down the alley there are no buttons to push or a right or left handed tilting mechanism to correct the balls trajectory. Just like real bowling . It's kinda fun and addictive ! The only thing I don't care for is playing against nothing but bots ! I wish I could play against real live players !
I'm finding it hard to control the balls direction. I noticed that one of my opponents was using a curve. How is that done? If you use tilt on your device, I missed how that's done. It seems, it goes straight wherever your finger leaves the device with no way to correct. If that's true, as for myself, it's to frustrating to play. I will be happy to update my rating, if someone tells me what I'm missing. Great graphics and smooth gameplay.
Good experience so far. However, the character customisation is a bit limited when it comes to girls' hairstyles especially, and the characters' appearance has the 'uncanny valley' factor. The skin texture is weird. It would be useful to have practice games of 5 rounds and multiplayer practice games against computer players. I would also like to have a scrollable list of options for clothes, glasses etc. rather than having to keep pressing the buttons.
Not based in reality, too difficult to predict what the ball will do. Cant control the curve and actual bowling ball phyics are not applied in this game. Too many splits and not enough chance to pick up easy spares. Game is not difficult to ply, but way difficult to play well. I cant imagine anyone bowling a perfect 300. There are no differences in the ball selection and what each ball could or should do. There is a lot left to be done on this game to make it more enjoyable.
Really, not into bowling but this game caught my attention & it's free with my subscription. In practice mode I bowl perfectly In chellege mode its a different play. The screen freezes up when it's my time to bowl throws my shot off big time. Why can't I get my Avatar a name ?
This game is a joke. It's good till you get to the elite level. Once there ut is almost impossible to win. You get a bunch of splits off what was a strike before. The computer hardly ever gets splits. The pins will keep falling down for the computer but stop for the players. Been trying to give it the benefit if doubt and have been trying to win one of the larger prize tournaments. Funny thing is though, I can bowl over 200 the first few rounds. Get to the last round and cant get over 150.
Meh - it forces you through a tutorial, no way to turn off the sound that I could find or set any settings, ball doesn't go where I am it - there are better bowling games out there. I hate playing against actual people, no single mode?
For most parts I like it. Others I have read have similar problems with the Ball with the ball rolling slow if you swipe and the ball roll super slow. And I paid .99 to get 10 ball bonuses and didn't get anything. The online don't work. it could use some tweaking and it could be a much better game
I love how this game plays. I'd love to see duckpin and candlepin in this game for variety. I certainly plays like duckpin, but it's not the same. Still, a great game.
For those asking about hook, the further left or right you swipe the ball forward, the further it will hook back. Dev, the pin sweeper causes a lot of lag on many devices when it sweeps many pins away. Please make an option to skip the sweeping. The pin action is pretty good. I've tried making a bowling game and the pin action is very hard to master. The league and tournament play is nice. Maybe add a few other mouths to the people?
The dynamics of how you bowl in this game is totally wrong, making it virtually impossible to be consistent especially with spares. 1st of all in real bowling, the amount of curve in your ball is NOT determined by how fast & sharp of an angle you roll the ball! 2nd, it's statistically impossible to get 1 or more splits EVERY SINGLE GAME! (out of 100s that I've bowled in this game.) 3rd, the parameters are way too tight. I have ideas if you want to respond to me for this game or a new one. :)
I think it's a fun game but why can't I play online matches. There are achievements for this but I can only play the avatars.
Love this game. It's more realistic then most I've tried. I think being able to controll your ball left and right while it is rolling down the lane is to easy and unrealistic. Kudos guys for a great game please don't change the app to much in the future and kill the game
Rolling the ball down the lane can be so erratic at times. One roll it can go very slow and the next it absolutely flies down the lane and I dont do anything differently. I cant even figure out how to throw a hook ball now because it barely works half the time and it doesnt even show you how to do it in the game
The game glitched and cheated me on an important match . I clearly rolled a strike, the pin set came down to no pins yet only counted 9 pins and wanted me to roll another ball before it would carry on with the game. That would have greatly affected my score causing me to loose. I paused the game and tried to explain what happened but got no reply in over 2days. When I went back to see if anything was taken care of I unpaused the game to see myself rolling the ball that I hadn't played! Again!?!?
I downloaded this game because of this comment from Rubicon: "Most of our competitors give strikes for sneezing." Ha ha ha ha! Good one, Rubicon, good one. May the wind be at your back when you sneeze. But, seriously, you need to liven up the atmosphere. It's too quiet for a bowling alley. The sounds are very low and we should be able to see our characters showboat, not just the AI players.
I played other bowling games and they were too easy. Just bowl straight to get strike. The ball in this game behaves like a real ball with no way other than practice to get that nice roll. Others games the ball doesn't hook but this game you have the option of hooking the ball or not depending on how you touch the screen. It feels like being at the alley.
The ONLY bowling game I ever played that the higher your rank the AI players can hit the 10 pin and get a strike then do that stupid crane stance and you can't get a strike to save your life. Splits for almost 8 frames which is more impossible to do than roll a perfect game. The higher in the ranks I go the more ridiculous this game gets.
I think I've sworn more at this game than I have on the real lanes. It's so inconsistent. Can do the same pressure, swipe, etc, and you will not get the same result. Crossover one throw, and hanging on the rail the next. It makes no sense. The only reason I'm still playing it is because I want to beat it but honestly, I'm going to delete it soon and look for a better bowling game.
