Been putting off getting this game because of reviews, but really wanted a space shooter that had controller support so i finally got it. All i can say is i wish i hadn't waited. So far the game is beautiful, responsive and really fun. I do suggest a high spec tablet for this game as its visually demanding. That being said on my shield tablet it runs really really well and it doesn't even heat up
Very impressed by how well it runs on shield tablet. As mentioned, there is an issue with audio stuttering when using HDMI out. There's also a small bug in which the difficulty is reset to "easy" if one begins a mission then quits the game and resumes it later. Finally, controller support seems lacking, as my Matricom gpads triggers don't function. Getting the DLC would be awesome but it appears the developer has stopped supporting. It's a shame because this truly is a fantastic port.
Maybe a little more optimized so it doesn't have to be changed in graphics setting by end user. but playing in 720p with max graphics is smooth. Or playing in 1080 with graphics turned down in game. But amazing game none the less. Keep up the good work
Since this version is built for Nvidia Tegra, it should be more compatible with Shadowplay. Anytime I try and record gameplay, controls lock up and roll uncontrollably.
Fun game but need to drop resolution to 1024 instead of the native res just to get usable frame rates. Hopefully further updates increases performance.
Problems with two things. First off all, the game are not registrering all of the Steelseries gamepad for android and because of that its not really playable with a gamepad. Second is, when using my bluethooth headset the volume startes to stagger. The video is fine, but the audio is on constant lag. Im using the Google Pixel C.Å I would love to get in contact with you and talk more about the problem so that hopefully you can fix the bugs as I have paid mony for the game.
Since I upgraded to marshmallow the sound on my Shield tablet is distorted and time stretched. The game is unplayable.
The game is unplayable due to graphics issue which isn't right the tablet is plenty powerful enough to run this low quality GfX game.
Only issue is that it does not always properly detect (non-Nvidia) controller triggers.
Great graphics and its fun to play but the controller goes out of control while playing the game..fix this please
The controller disconnects appear to have been solved. The game is playable now. I enjoy this kind of game so I find it very fun and enjoyable; but it isn't for everyone.
Year later review...just as impressive now as it was then...see lots of negative reviews...Guys - this game is a beast...If your system can't handle it...Don't get it...there are areas where you have 30+ enemy ships literally flying 360 around you. Although you can play with touch controls...a controller is needed for dogfights. This game is one loooooong dogfight...not much in terms of story..a lot could have been done there but its seriously one of the best games (if your system can handle it) out there. Once you're able to go gundam mech - its showtime!!!! Thank you developers for bringing this game to us.
Great game on the nvidia shield tablet
Glitchy, broken. Controller failures, crashes, so many broken elements that it reflects poorly on Nvidia for allowing this game on the shield hub. You cannot just slap any piece of junk onto the hub if you intend to make android into a gaming platform, Nvidia. Shame on the developer for putting this out. This is the second game I bought from the hub for a premium price that cannot reliably get past the intro screen. Please refund my account.

I have Nvidia shield tablet LTE 32gb and the game crashes on me very time after the intro movie when loading into the game! Disappointing as this game cost $7.99 and I waited too long for a refund shame this game doesn't even play. Save yourself some money and don't buy. For those of us suckers hopefully they fix the game and make it playable.
NVidia Shield Tablet , I thought this tablet should run this game smooth, seems choppy and it crashes even at the introductory video and during a game. Not sure why, it has been moved to SD storage but it's not a slow SD card, just feels buggy and unpolished
The graphics are great but the game is buggy. Gamepad losses connection constantly and the game force closes frequently as well. Shield tablet.
So many things wrong with this game. Shield controller seems to be recognized, but ignored. Can't fly with it. Crashed on exit. Shame, game held promise.
I have installed this to my shield tablet 16gb wifi and it crashes when ever you start a game - if you try to skip the long intro video by tapping on the screen your controller no longer works and then as usual, the game crashes - shame really, I'd love to play it... if it worked...
Nvidia shield tablet 32gb,crashes whenever you click start game. Stay away until updated.
Awesome game, serious issues. Tablet overheats - controls get jumpy/laggy in intense action, also no option to send an error report when it crashes... will five star when this is fixed.
Plays great on my Shield TV device. Loads very fast and looks the same as the PC. I noticed however while playing, the HUD that shows distance to the enemy ship and ship type is missing. No issues with the controller or playing for hours. The Shield TV hasn't overheated and game only crashed once in over 20 hours of playing. Just wish the game was longer, 13 missions kinda short.
