Strobe

I was looking for an app that would use the camera flash to strobe in the case if emergency. This app is perfect for that, it even has an SOS strobe. The only thing I didn't like is that it sends notifications when the app is in use but that is easy enough to turn off in Android settings. The only thing that would make this any better would to also have the option to turn on a siren as well.

It does what you want it to do without any hassle. Thank you to the developer. I personally used this while I was kayaking on the Hudson at night. I set this to blink at a specific frequency so I have a light on my kayak for other boats to see. Very little battery usage. It gives you the option to choose the rate of flash with frequency or flash per minute (FPM). It also let's you choose how long of a pause in between flashes you want and how long you want each flash to be.

Does what it says. Adjustable frequency and duration of flashes. Being run by software on a phone using touch friendly sliders to adjust settings, it can be hard to get it perfect, and the timing consistency is not perfectly stable but it's fair enough to have some fun - this is likely a hardware limitation, no fault of the developer, but it seems to be less consistent than a "real" strobe light e.g. cannot get a spinning fan perfectly dialed in to appear stationary. Much better than expected.

During the strobe, the frequency of the blinking is not displayed. On the display with the adjustments, there are a half dozen virtual sliders and buttons, but they are not labeled. Lack of labeling makes using the app overly complicated. However, if you just want some blinking, this app will accomplish that. It really doesn't like to strobe 40 Hz. It will do a solid 39 or 41, your phone may vary.

Great app for your custom need to control frequecy, color, time and everything else you can think of. There's a little little problem in UI as it is hard to understand and if you accidentally press something then you will struggle to go back. I had to restore the app two times due to this. Otherwise it is a great app. good work.

Very nice app. Excellent battery saver if need "flashlight". I use the STROBE function and set the rate (top slider) to about 6Hz, and the Duty Cycle (bottom slider) to the extreme right, and then turn off the display and I have a VERY battery-saving flashlight that strobes at 6Hz with a short but bright LED pulse. This also helps keep the LED from overheating. It runs MUCH cooler than a standard "always on" LED flashlight mode, and takes a LOT less power to light things up enough to walk around safely in a totally dark room.

This is really useful! whether using it for work or fun, it does what you need it to do, as long as you can find the button. Impressive customization, presets, and widget compatibility make this a great tool to have.

Awesome! Super cool to play with on a ceiling at night and it looks like stop motion shadows and it's even better with spinny things like fans that look like they're going backward! Also yes I was just bored at 12am and wanted to see if there were any good strobe light apps and this one looked promising and it's great why am I so good at making paragraphs and stories of stuff I'm like 12.

Good, but doesn't stop when you swipe up to close the app. Also, the strobe isn't consistent when your phone plugged in, keeps stuttering. Fix both these issues and I'll rate 5. Many thanks.

Great little app when walking after dark with a decent charge on your phone you can use your phone camera flashlight as a blinking safety light for visibility in dark areas... Great app and the small 1 time fee to turn off the ads was definitely worth it.

This is a good application. My only complaints are a hard to understand user interface; rather cryptic specific functionality; and a certain lack of visual aesthetics. Otherwise, I like what it does, how it works, and how it feels.

Really nice and useful app! But I really wish there was an option where you could use the front and back flashlight at the same time at different frequencies.

This app is awesome I played it with one of my favorite songs and it was a banger!other apps like this don't have such good features but your sound activated feature is actually very good it was like an actual professional light show with gobos and lasers awesome work!

The UI is a bit weird but it works. The granular control with the strobe feature works exactly how I expected it to and the custom widget makes it really worth my time.

Google add blocks FPM rate when using in microphone mode. This could be an outstanding app for use in my machine shop with a little more thought, espesially if it could measure audio beats. I would pay for this app because it works on an old LG Stylo 4. It can be used for measurement.

A nice, basic strobe, and has sound activation. However, there is no readout of beats persecond, or even Hz. Useless in an industrial setting.

Best strobe. Option to alter how long the light stays on per strobe is necessary for a good strobe effect. Simple and effective. Exactly what you want in a strobe app.

Lyft, Uber & other ride share companies have some sort of light helps passengers identify them so there's no confusion when trying to find your ride. Since I've been using this app, I've not missed a single rideshare driver. I just tell em look 4 the strobe light! This, in turn, saves everyone money. It's not rocket science.k

UI is bad takes too long to access the strobe and the ui is so bad it's just tiny icons with a huge power button just make it so there's a button that says strobe the instant that you open the app

A very cool app, had no idea it will work so well. Love the sound activated led, pretty responsive and can be custumized.

The same functions beyond expectations with a decent phone the processing is without delay it's seemingly real time sound processing with lighting effects good job thank you now a reason without an ad banner would be nice

Most intense. Turns your phone into a Disco Party Light Show. Strobes back light, and color changes screen flashing for total effect. KOOL!

LED flashes are very inconsistent, almost random on a Moto G4, and it is quite difficult to shut off. Basically useless.

Control slide buttons are to small and dificult to use . The app is a cool idea . Little twicking and it would become 5* Thanks

Nice control ability. Perhaps useful to use volume up or down to adjust strobe rate would make easier to adjust

Legit, probably one of the coolest apps out there. I really love how you can set up a widget to start a strobe when you click it.

Searching the Play Store to a strobe dance party for a Den of wound-up Cub Scouts in less than a minute. Only thing better would have been some presets on the main screen to save me ten seconds. PH-1 on Pie.

Great app!! But is it not possible to change the light color transmitted ?, I only find color change settings for the screen. My phone is a redmi note 4. Thanks.
