S20 ultra result at max frequency (80Hz btw) is akin to an electronic tea light. I'm not sure what I was expecting but I know it wasn't this. Not stable. Light brightness also fixed at max. Yet varies wildly.
It works. Just takes a little experimentation to get it to do the strobing effect. Was able to verify my turntable pitch. Too many ads interfere with the screen.
App keeps stopping so I couldn't even open it to try it out. Tried resetting my galaxy tablet, same result. Uninstaled and looking for something else. Very poor for an app on a list of the best rpm meters for android. I would not have given any stars except you can't post with out 1 star minimum, (star scam)
It seems to work now edit 11/2018 10/2018 Unfortunately it doesn't work on my Nokia 8 with Oreo. My stobe works but not with this app. What can I do? After receiving notice of bug fix I tried again. I have yet to test the accuracy but it seems to work now.👍
It did what I expected it to do, but my flash did not flash as fast as Iwanted it to. I think its because my flash isnt capable of flashing so quickly.
I can't even tell whether this app actually works or not. Mainly because there are no instructions on how to operate the app. Which is kind of a letdown. But I'll continue to search for some information regarding how to operate it. I wouldn't recommend this app. That is for sure.
Half in Spanish and does not work. LED would not even turn on on Galaxy S9. Useless.
Works as good as expected, for construstive criticism a speed doubler and speed halfer. And +/- 0.5 RPM buttons.
It just works nice for me. Except the light is not stable. It is jerky
Why should it have access to my camera and network connection??? Looks VERY FISHY to me! Uninstalled!!

Works well enough once controls figured out to set my 78 rpm phonograph with a test against actual stroboscope was spot on. Much better than using an old style table lamp bulb for 60Hz. Tested on a Samsung galaxy grand prime. Only down side is screen controls are touchy.
Tried to measure turntable speed with 60hz. Wasn't possible since no constant 60hz pulses. Not sure if app or phone is the problem. . Edit : after dev replied I tried again. Still no constant 60hz flashes. I assume it is the phone.
Part of the app is in spanish, the calibration button does weird stuff (not sure what it calibrates) and now i have some huge values for frequency which can't be set back to initial values... Good idea, bad programming. Could be greatly improved. Edit: as the dev didn't consider improving the app, I lowered my rating to 1*
