Amazing App. It's easy to use & has a helpful inbuilt concordance: you can find several references that speak on the same subject as the verse you're reading by simply clicking an underlined word in it! The arrangement of the verses (with spaces in between) make for easy reading. It's also quite easy to make notes, which you can refer to later, on verses as you study. If you have to copy out Bible verses often, this is definitely the App for you. It lays out the book name/chapter/verse nicely.
Best Bible app available anywhere. They fixed the issue of hiding the navigation buttons. Thanks for the awesome app. One more recommendation, when we "copy" if the pasted text could be in the same format as the Bible is set in the app. (I have mine set in classic 'stacked verses' style) thanks again, I try to get everyone to download this app is wonderful for study and learning. I really enjoy having the features available, specially defining with either the dictionary or Strongs. The cross-reference being there is a missing feature in many other KJV or study apps. In total the only thing missing is for it to read aloud the scripture. Then it would be perfect.
This is a much easier to use and faster to use than the old big green Strongs Concordance. The ability to see other translations helps for understanding and to check them, which is honestly at times a bit concerning, but it is an awesome tool for study. I still love and use my paper Bibles and would not give them up, but this high tech version is excellent. I use it primarily on my tablet for study ( old eyes, bigger screen) and on phone for listening to the Word.
Great app for studying the original languages even without a previous knowledge of them. Allows searching for all the occurrences of the original word so that the meaning can be better inferred and understood. Also, each word has a list of the different words it was translated into and the number of occurrences for each, as well as the a breakdown by books of the Bible. Extremely useful and helpful for learning the true meaning of the Word!
I couldn't be more pleased with this app. Easy to use with great cross-referencing and search features. It offers a beautiful design with a ton of great study features like customizable organization folders and notes. I love all the different add-ons you can try before you buy. These include different study Bibles and commentaries. I'm a Christian college student so it's great having study tools from Spurgeoun, the Moody institute and more. Very professional app!
common sense navigation, not alot of fluff and clutter. The search feature is the best ive used. I also use Esword, and Mybible app, but the search tool on this is better. Also, i like the imbedded links. Rather than strongs numbers interupting the reading. They are linked to each word, so just click the word and thrn you see all you want to see. Great Job Tecarta
Got this particular app so I could have the Strong's concordance. I love having it on the phone. It's so much easier. If you just press and hold a word you can click Strong's and it brings up the info for that word without going somewhere else or looking in a separate book.
Bought the app for the Strong's concordance and really like the KJV Bible and audio Bible. The daily reading and verse of the day is also Inspiring. Other Bible translations and study books seem reasonably priced. I dropped my previous phone and broke it. I was glad that my purchase was able to be transferred onto my new phone:)
I have this app on both my iPad mini and my android phone - wouldn't be without it! I prefer using it on the iPad as the bigger screen makes it a bit easier, but it works equally well on the phone.
Paying was my first mistake for Gods Word. Once inside 500+ dollars add-ons catering to the rich man.. paying my way to heaven my friends, but such it is in real life isn't it. I compared it to my best free bibles and didn't find much difference between them. Free version had highlights, notes, red text for Jesus talking. Only thing this had over them was a much stronger scripture navigation and searching algorithm.
4 stars because, while it's a good Bible app, there is no version as of yet with the Strongs numbers displayed. There are just lines which one has to tap to see the reference. Also the search results do not highlight the word or reference searched for. One has to pick it out of the text oneself. This makes cross referencing a bit tedious.
I'm so in love with reading God's Word! Using this app makes reading The Word easier to understand with the Strong's root word definitions, and the study guides you can download to help understand the context of the passages! I also love the cross-reference verses, the daily Bible reading, and the daily devotional!
Blessings... This app has got me. I particularly love the fact that I don't have to go anywhere else to look up certain words to keep in context of scripture. I also like the fact that it allows me the ability highlight not just whole scriptures but words and phrases. A One-Stop App for all that is needed. I am so grateful. Thanks
Great app to use. But would be even better if you could go directly to other verses when entered into the notes. This app, combined with the features of the EGW app, would be perfect for me.
I love it, I can add notes ECT., and cross reference, and look up words from the Strong's easily. This is a great Bible Study app. My only complaint is there is not enough colors to choose from with the highlighter tool, I use different colors to single out area's of interest.
Very useful, easy to navigate. A great tool for spiritual development. Had some problems with it a few months ago (the first time ever) and the help crew were first rate and patient with my many issues trying to get it working. I value it highly.
One of the best offline audio bibles to date. Being able to look up the meaning of words and being able to see the cross-reference of different scriptures even offline makes reading the Word of God very informative and enjoyable. The voice actors and music makes the old and new testament entertaining to hear while at work or just relaxing at home. Faith by hearing. Hearing by the word of God. 🍭
I like this Bible very much. Easy to navigate, high light, write notes, etc .... Audio is excellent. One thing that would make it better is to have references like the Treasury of Scripture Knowledge.
An incredible tool that will give you the exact meaning of almost any word in the Bible. And just as important the subject and tense help you choose the translation's use for yourself, allowing you to understand a deeper, more concise meaning of the word, thought, or idea.
I love this app. I use the audio quite a bit. I love the "dramatic" option, it has music in the background, (not too loud, just right) and it's great for really getting a visual and feeling of the verses. 💜
I used to take notes in my physical bible. I need a special stylus to make notes on this app. But I can look up Greek/Hebrew instantly instead of making physical notes to look up @ home. Plus it has cross references to a lot of scripture that matches what pastor uses. I really love this app. It was a real bargain. The best phone bible I've had or will ever need. I love that you can buy other translations/commentaries to supplement it if you choose.
It's really great to use when sitting around with others while trying to remember a certain verse. I use it while writing sermons. It actually has more material than the Strongs hardback book. Also you can use the app to make notes if you are out and about. Great product.
I can't say enough about this app. I really enjoy all the options to get different translations, devotionals, study guides etc.. I enjoy the devotionals, the highlighting features and the verse of the day. I would highly recommend it
Many great features. You can heilight any word and it ask if you want a definition which will take you to the web. It also gives you the option for Strong's. If you hit that after you read Strong's multable choise of what the word means in all instances not that helpful always, but under Strong's it has Thayers which is very helpful. I love Thayers. It usally exsplains what the word actually means in the verse you are reading. Strong's and Thayers are only in the paid one. And it has audio
Recommended! I have a hardcopy of the N.S.Exhaustive Concordance and this app does more than provide a soft copy for it. Features such as the cross-ref, and bible translation comparison (side by side horizontal view); have made this nearly indispensable in both daily study and devotion anywhere!
There are a handful of improvements I would like to make, such as a better navigation system, better note organisation/filtering, and so on, but generally this is a very good app, and has saved me much time and heartache transferring notes from one place to another. Because I can also access it on a computer I have also been able to transfer treasured notes from my Blackberry Bibleplus app, without having to retype everything. UPDATE: The Psalms now have their headings :D 2022 update: still ok.
