StrongVPN OpenVPN Client

They bought my old service, ibVPN, which I'd recently been getting fed up with. It seemed to throttle bandwidth after 1gb, and I'd have to reconnect to get normal speeds again. That's not the case since converting to StrongVPN. It's very stable, and doesn't seem to throttle the bandwidth. -1 star for a combination of no killswitch (which, again, this seems to be very stable but killswitches are nice comforts), and for the limited protocols, though it does have what most people would need/want.

I tested this VPN among a large group of it's competitors on a Minix Neo U22 Android TV box. Although I didn't expect it to be ...Strong VPN was consistently the most stable and fastest up and down versus all the big name VPNs (and a bunch I had never heard of). It's only shortcoming was compared to the biggest names, it didn't have quite as many features. These turned out to be features that weren't needed for my situation so I can honestly recommend STRONG VPN for home use on both PC & Droid

Already spent enough time with your support staff thanks - they blame my phone, and my laptop Might be good elsewhere, but virtually useless in China. Even when it will actually connect it is so slow to be almost useless. I spend far more time searching for usable servers, reconnecting and disconnecting, reactivating my account whenever it decides to tell me the password is wrong, and contacting with support, than I do actually using the app.

Hands down best VPN service available. Went through many VPNs but this one is great!! Fast speeds and doesn't log data. Even has feature to scramble so sites can't pick up that you're using a VPN. The interface is great and easy to navigate. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Easy to setup and use.... both desktop and mobile apps. Service could be more affordable, that's why i took off a star. Works wirh Netflix which is good because Netflix blocks some VPNs. Haven't been able to setup on my router. Had lota of trouble doing it. Will have to try again.

I have never had a problem with this service or any of their apps on either my PC or Mobile phone. Great price, very stable connection and way better than the other services I have tried. Well done to everyone at StrongVPN.

I've been using this app/service for several years now both in the USA and aboard with outstanding performance. It's especially useful when living and traveling abroad. I'd highly suggest it to anyone that travels or just want to be less visible on the web.

Strong VPN works on laptop although it takes over and even after disconnecting it's showing as on. On phone it's now stopped geo blocking for apps, one in particular for music. I downloaded a free VPN and it works fine for the same app. ????? Oh well.

This VPN is perfect on both phone and pc. I have yet to have any issues that weren't my own fault. Get this app! Not only do you get a great VPN to stop your neighbors from sniffing your packets but they also offer Smart DNS which allows you to by-pass streaming services that block IP's from VPN providers. Get this product!

Use the product mainly on my laptop but on my phone as well. Good pricing - excellent service. Started using it for work overseas and haven't had a single problem since then. Has always been straight-forward, quick and reliable.

I signed up for this and they send you 16 character long password with upper case, lower case and numbers. After you have put that in it still says email or password word is incorrect. I have spent hours and days seeing if I could log in after paying for the service. I tried to call but nobody answered. Please save your money. This app is a fraud.

Really good and reliable. Sometimes you get disconnected from the internet especially if you are using the 4G but a restart for the app will solve this issue. Plus it doesn't hide your ipv6 but no other VPN still offer this service which is becoming more important as governmental and corporations censorship on rise.

Best VPN, to anyone who is experiencing issues outside of the USA, it's probably your ISP/ government cracking down on the use of vpn service. It is not StrongVPN's fault. I have used this for years and can attest to it's reliability. Only wish for more servers in more locations👍👍

So annoying!!!!!! I created an account and chose the monthly plan only for me not to log into my account. I created another but still, the same issues. I tried resetting the passwords of the two accounts I created because they kept telling me my password was wrong. I did this successfully, only for they to tell me me the new password that was created and sent by them is wrong. I continued resetting my password and now both of my accounts are blocked. They must not bill me. I'm deeply frustrated.

I'm a user living in China. The speed is OK, and the customer service staff are very patient. However, due to the old version of the software, some functions such as node selection are a little cumbersome. It is hoped that the new versions of all platforms can be applied in China in the future, so as not to be unable to be used in China after updating the software version. I hope the developer team can see my comments, which is really an urgent need for users living in China.

Been trying for days to get actual tech support. All i ever get is someone different asking me to explain my problem over again. That's all. My Android device will not connect with any of the protocols. Wireguard or the other two.

Basically it doesn't work ! It was great but the past 3 years not good at all. I will not be renewing it. I use mainly for TV and most channels bbc itv etc don't work

I come from expressvpn to try your vpn but it's very slow for downloading and your servers are very little. So please add some server for downloading.(gaming , web searching and going to YouTube and Spotify and .... Is very good . I can do that with your vpn very fast but please think about downloading speed especially telegram

the pc version of the app lately has been saying that 'API requests are currently being rate limited due to too many invalid requests' after which nothing happens, so basically doesn't work right now. Please, fix!

Great, works fine in Iran, good speed and doesn't disconnect like most vpns when screen is off. Only downside is that wireguard protocol doesn't work in Iran.

Can't use this in China, I am currently here. The support are sending me links to download huge files to fix it which my phone can't and won't do as I can't get onto the internet here due to the vpn!!! Really bad considering I'm paying for it.

I have a subscription for this app and so far it has been working well on my phone sometimes it doesn't. I use a Huawei P30 Pro. But for the past 3 days back it stopped working and now it barely connects. Please help to resolve this problem..

Horrible app. I paid for it and haven't been able to use it. I login, then after that the screen freezes!!!!

Very, very excellent. Works on all platforms I use daily. First rate tech support. One of my best purchases in a long time. (No, I do not work for them :D )

The "start when Window starts" button does not work. Technical support told me they "..do not have a solution at this time." I'm sure there are many other VPN apps that don't have this problem. Don't waste your money on this one.
