Student-Centered: Classroom Assistant - FREE

Student-Centered: Classroom Assistant - makes some daily class management tasks such as taking attendance and tracking assignments as easy as tapping on a seating chart. Also, to help eliminate teacher bias, it features semi-random picking of students for individual "calling on" as well as grouping (students marked absent will not be picked though optionally can be grouped). By semi-random, it's random but removes students from the pool when they are selected until all are evenly selected

**introductory "getting started" instructions** (or visit developer support website, linked in this page)
1. Go to assign classes (toward bottom of main menu)
2. Add a class, just need to specify name, and click save
3. Verify the class you added is selected when at main menu
4. Go back to assign classes, and go to add students to current class
5. After each student (display name is only part required) click the "+" to add the student, when done, click done at the top
6. Back at main menu you should be able to see the number of students in the class, now go to seating chart assignments
7. First, click assign seats alphabetically (first time only for each class is required), then go back to seating chart assignments menu, select to move, and you should be able to move students by drag and drop
8. Now the remainder of the functions should be available.
9. Whenever at a place where it's not obvious how to exit the screen, use the back button to go back.

This is not a service, there are no subscriptions or in-app purchases as of this writing, and there is no remote storage of your data. Update: I had recently enabled auto-backup, this is an Android feature and i'm not sure where your data is backed up, but I suspect it's on your app store account. For at least "some users" (i don't know the criteria) this means when they uninstall and reinstall they may possibly (no guarantee) preserve their data.
