StudioKUMA .nomedia Manager
* NOTE: Don't use on Android 4.2 devices, it is known to crash and there is no solution yet *
.nomedia files are used to tell media players not to scan certain folders.
StudioKUMA .nomedia Manager is a simple tool to manage .nomedia files in your SD card. Just tap and hold to toggle, or you can also perform multi-select.
NOTE: For Samsung devices (both Tablets and Phones) with Android 3.2, only internal storage can set .nomedia flags as the system deny access to SD card by 3rd party apps

great a and my note2 run smoother after ban all folder scanning but not working with" select all" function
Installed on my Note 4: unable to create .nomedia file on sd card folders.
I don't know why it didn't work at my new phone (redmi note 2) but it work at jellybean
Not running 4.* which they say won't work but 5.1.1 - still does not find Ext SD card
Like most nomedia apps this does not have a grant app permission to external SD... It does go to ext SD but will not right 'nomedia' file. App named nomedia has easier interface but also needs update.
This thing only sees the internal memory on my phone and not the SD card where all of my videos are, so it's ABSOLUTELY USELESS!!!
Gives an error when it tries to write the .nomedia file. Useless.
It can create .nomedia file and stop media scanning. But it seems can not restore media scanning.
Does not work for SD cards. Can you please make it trigger the android prompt to grant write access to external SD card? Galaxy S4, Android 5.0.1

I love how light this app is and yet so effective. It's simple to use and you can still go in your file manager and view the pictures manually. I was having a hard time figuring out how to create a .nomedia file manually, and this takes all the hassle out of it! :)
Works well but please help my songs disappeared from the music player but I can still find them in the file ssystem. They are enabled in the app too helped me to reset it.

Not compatible with 4.2 really? Try updating your app. We r on 4.4

Apparently doesn't work on SD cards. I have all my media on my SD card, but none of those folders appear in this app, and there is no option to correct that, that I can find.
