I'm using this software to prep for a GACE exam. It is very easy to use and nicely organized into chapters, which are broken into individual lessons with their own quizzes, and practice exams at the end. The videos aren't bad but unecessary; you can read the text version below them and get just as much out of it. The assessments are fine, but I wish there were more than just MC questions like maybe some true-false or short answer. It's pricey too, but a pretty good prep tool for what it is.

Overall it has been good. I am grateful for the program and opportunity to further my education. A free degree can't be beat. The only issues I have had are how and in which order some of the lessons are coupled. I have found some grammatical errors in some lessons and on some chapter and final exams. I wish it didn't take so long to get my course grade. 😩

I'm a very visual learner so textbooks just don't cut it for me. The videos help me retain the info more efficiently than just reading a textbook. The quizzes reinforce my understanding and shows me what I need to focus on/review. To top it off, I can download videos to watch on the go when I'm in an area without wifi and/or poor cell signal.

Allegedly free to sign up according to the website, only it's not. Basic account is 39.99 which is worth it if you want to learn independently and you're not already paying college fees. If you're just brushing up on one or two units in a module, it sure isn't worth it. Upside is you get to watch a tiny excerpt of video! Yaay! There are better alternatives.

The app is wonderful. It is nearly identical to the desktop version. However, I would like a a note taking option as I am watching the video to help me retain the information. Thinking I could minimize the app to open the stock Android note app, I'm unable to do so as the keyboard takes up the whole bottom screen so I can't see what I am typing. For a mobile platform, I sincerely hope you adjust your technology to equitably serve us mobile users. Especially if I am paying 59.99 a month.

At least for my class, the learning platform is very one dimensional, consisting of a video lesson and a quiz. When I had a question the help I received was very poor: the response did not accurately relate to my question, and now my question status is listed as rejected. That was a frustrating experience. I find this to be very expensive for what it offers.

I love it! I find myself just wanting to do more!! Its currently 11:40pm and im still watching the lesson videos! It's easy, I learn the essentials and the there are different option to do while doing lessons such as, reading the script, listening and taking notes and watching the drawling and pictures they use to visualize what your learning!

Great value. Really expensive. Very helpful. But really...I haven't compared it to alternatives, so are there good alternatives that are way cheaper? I don't know. Classes have exciting videos, interactive activities (I think), you can transfer your passing courses transcript to most community college and universities, I think you can watch videos and attempt quizzes instead of any reading, cool fun quizzes to test your understandings, SO MANY subjects and topics. Like a database for learning...

I'm trying to use this app as a homeschooling tool, and so far it isn't nearly as resourceful as it advertised. It is basically a compilation of short videos with quizzes at the end. Where are the worksheets it claims to offer? It's more than double the cost of our other pay-monthly app, and has half the tools. I've found free apps that offer more customization for homeschooling!

They pull a bait'n switch telling you the 1st month is free but charge you $200 for the 1st month anyway. App is not modified from the desktop site so it shows language for features you can't access (ex: submitting assignments), you can't access billing info on the app. If you contact support, they only commit to responding within 2 business days. Most people do this on the weekend so you're basically stuck until the following weekend. I've never felt so scammed. Schools shouldn't be referring.

Just about all the videos are very helpful. If some seem redundant, I read the lesson summary, but mostly this helps to cement the information. I like the quizzes and unit tests because they help me see where I need to do more work or make me feel comfortable that I know the material.

I'll give a 5 star review if you allowed us to hide the video player when reading through a course content so we can see more on a page without a big portion of the video player taking up 1/3 of the screen when we don't need it. Just a simple toggle (show video) or (hide video) button.

Lots of introductory courses. I'd like to see full accredited programs, especially in the Astronomy and Physics categories which are currently lacking. Please consider my input. I love the learning format, just needs more complete programs. Degree programs would make this app a full 5 star. Until then, I can only give 4 at best.

Well organized content. Excellent for autodidacts - takes the guesswork out of pedagogy, logical progression of subjects within a domain or discipline. Great for subjects where lacunae exist due to uncertainty about which books to read on a subject in which order. Also has tangible benefits for misanthropes - learn all you want without ever having to engage with a human.

Thought this was just an app and my Google pay monthly subscription covered the cost. I didn't realize I was getting billed $79.00 CA until 2 days later I checked my email and bank account. No trial period the money is immediately withdrawn from your bank account. Update: I got an email shortly after I canceled and it may take 7 days for a refund. Sigh of relief pending. Update. At first I gave a 1 star but because I was given a refund ( minus $3.50) within 2 days I'm giving it a 3 star.

I studied this course for four months, I repeated it four times. In the test half of the questions were not addressed in the course. Am so much disappointed I wasted my money and time. Am very dissatisfied. By the way I found many mistakes in the course and contradicted information I don't recommend at all

Very clear, concise lessons. I love how the courses are organized for easy and intuitive use. The tests and quizzes are very useful tools for learning the subjects. Overall very happy with my experience.

Offered a free 7 day trial. I was charged immediately. This is for sure misleading. Sign up if you want to spend a bunch of time fighting the charge. How can you trust a company that does this? Can't log in on the app, touch sign in, window pops up but it's cut and can't see where to enter information. $29 a month and you cannot take the practice quiz to check if you understand. This is very expensive, the information I want is freely available on YouTube, and the web. Why pay $29? No money 4U!

If money is not an issue then I highly recommend this app for anyone studying in general. I studying to become an Earth/Space science teacher and I'm getting through these lessons in a hurry. It is a bit for $45-60 a month but it's worth it if you can do it. They have a 30-Day free trial but I was charged after a week I believe so contact them if that happens to you. Other than that it's great.

Some of the lessons are in text form, which is fine. some of the answers to test questions are duplicates. When I passed the chapter not all of the chapter progress dots turned green and I'm a little OCD so it bothered me. overall a pretty good study aid.

It's a great app. Love the materials, format, and ease of use. However I was given a 30 day free trial and it charged my card immediately, and not after 30 days. I tried to put in a report to customer service, there was no return reply. I need to cancel my subscription and there is no option via the app to do do.

Deceptive increased program amount the following month reduced classes you would be able to take from 5 to 2 which was advertised. You can't apply a coupon for the following months. If you take classes they should be finished before the service end because it seem my classes are being held hostage. Poor communication the only reply with a general email message.

Works great! Yes it's expensive but the lessons are well thought out, way to understand, with quizzes for each section, and they have a 30 day refund, so if it was too much you can get your $60 back, so it's like a 30 trial, if it will help me pass my praxis exam then it's worth the price

WOW! WOW!! WOW!!! Using this program helped me successfully pass my exam that I had prevously taken three times without success; plus I had purchased three other different study programs that were not as user-friendly, nor necessarily capable of helping me to help myself. Bottom line is this - based on my experience - if you want to pass tests and exams on your first try, USE THIS PROGRAM.
