Study Kanji N4 N5

Amazing, it has everything you need to learn kanji, shows you the character with its various definitions, how to pronounce each pronunciation and how to write it. Then you can use flashcards and practice tests to quiz yourself. I think the only thing that is missing is the ability to draw the character yourself, but it does show you how so there is still the option of writing it down by hand. First app I have found that has everything I need all in one.

The excercises have several issues - e.g. when two signs have same reading there's no way to know which answer from the given is correct and it's a lottery. Also, about 70% of the time it focuses on sinojapanese reading, 25% - the meaning, and while exercising you eccounter an example of kun'yomi reading once for 20 other examples. It should be improved, I think.

Very handy app for using while in the metro. However, it lacks of connecting to an online account to save your achievements among different devices. For the same reason, you should pay for removing the ads at all of your devices.

This is one of the best kanji apps I've used and i love that you dont get given too much information on every single kanji like some apps do. My only complaint is that ツ is actually displayed incorrectly as シ making the practise tests impossible if both kanji are options as its just two of the same. Would definitely give 5 stars if this could be fixed, but atm I'm worried that I'm learning the wrong readings. A shame as everything else about this app is great!

Great app to use when on public transportation or waiting on a line. It's easy and interactive but one thing that annoyed me was that sometimes there were two identical answer options but somehow one was correct and one was wrong.

So far I have no issues for this application. The information is well organized the UI is simple and intuitive. A good reference for people that are going to take N4 and N5. Will recommend to my friends. Although the back button does not seem to work so I always have to force quit the app 😂Also is this really just an N4 N5 kanji? If not please update the App Name. Thanks

I had given 5 stars a while ago and now I decided to pay for the ad-free version and after payment, I still get the ads. what a disappointment. I would have donated the money for the great effort, but the false ad-free promise has really disappointed me...:'(

Aside from the absolute ad bombardment the app contains several spelling mistakes and outright false answers. While the game aspect of it is fun the former reasons are enough for me to no longer use it.

i don't like the tests in this app. It teaches you different kanji separately which is good for beginners like me. But in the tests it combines them into a completely different word you haven't learn yet and think you will somehow know how it is written in hiragana.

I find it a lot nicer than regular flashcards. I like the different games that help approach kanji in different ways. Lovely interface!

Ads are really annoying. In quiz same multiple options are graded differently. Overall it looks good and work good except mentioned.

No settings, no multi select actions, stupid sound effects which can't be turned off, etc. I couldn't give a higher rating for this.

Generally good for people wanting to study Japanese. That's because many people fail to understand the radicals of kanji, this app gives a good start for beginners.

paid 3.99 to get rid of ads and there is still ads on the screen... which means i cannot use this app. very disappointed that they trick people to buy.

Wost app ever, it showed me an audio ad before I could even get started. This is pure adware, dont even waste your time with it.

I wish there was different kinds of tests so I could just start out memorizing the meanings of the kanjis and then the readings, trying to do both at the same time is confusing, and I don't understand why the readings are in katakana and not Hiragana

It's great app. Helped me improving my kanji reading fast. So effective. BUT some kanjis' kunyomi onyomi have no example. So, I hope you could add it.

kind of strange that many readings are offered in katakana, which is not normally used for words native to the language so it is not my preference for study.

Some words, since they sound the same, makes the tests tricky since the same character/meaning appears twice

Excellent app, it's absolutely perfect for Kanji especially if you are not in any hurry.

NOT a place to start, but definitely a great supplement once you're ready to pick up kanji.

The app is generally good but I've already seen 2 major translation mistakes and I'm concerned when I hit Kanji I don't know I'm going to learn things wrong.

Up to now, I think this app certainly help me remember the Japanese kanji's pronouncation. Thanks for the author!
