Study Quest - Language RPG

Overall the app has huge potential, one of the better language platform I have seen. I like how I can really adapt it to my kids' levels and is easy to switch from one account to another. The game is fun and keeps the engaged. My main concern is that the pronunciation is poor. I am using French as a target language and I wish it had valid French pronunciation with the words.

I'm really enjoying this app, it's fun to fight the monsters and it doesn't feel like studying at all! My only complaint is that it's frustrating to only be able to make one swap of orbs at a time. It would be so much better if we had maybe 3 moves instead of one. I feel I would be able to give 5 stars if it wasn't so limited on the match-3 section.

I could see this app working for basic memorisation but DO NOT listen to the TTS as it is absolutely abysmal. Especially the Korean one is barely recognisable and constantly gets the sounds wrong. Otherwise the app is fine. Good for getting some flashcards going.

This is pretty fun. However, it doesn't seem you've updated the languages available since 2017. I wish you'd allow user-defined languages, I'd love to use this as a tool for less popular languages like Malay without making flashcards under the guise of a different language. Still, not a bad app to introduce myself to the languages available.

Love the app. The downsides are that it deleted my book but kept the coins. The audio is not the best but that's not really that bad and it's kind of hard to earn more coins unless you buy them. For some reason the pictures of the app don't match up to the actual app.

To much gamification, was not able to start real learning, coins to download books assume it will cost me real money in the future but I'm still not sure for what. I recommend the developers to create some ready to start course w/o additional steps (books?), so I could understand and feel in the idea of your method.

This app is nearly perfect. If it had a way to edit things on a PC it would be 100% 5 stars. Its difficult to work from my phone to type in the questions and answers. Other than that it's an amazing game.

Learn while having fun. The pronunciations are clear and very understandable. You choose the length of game, so you don't have to stop part way complete. Very well done.

App I was looking for. No ads, fun way to study when you don't want to study. A lot of free community content but personally happy to pay for the official books. I've already converted most of my friend base 😏

This is not a learning app with gaming elements, it is a fame with a few trivia questions sprinkled in. The phrases you are taught are neither explained nor read aloud to you. Do not bother downloading this if you want to learn anything at all.

It seems to be very good, but when I try to put my email and mu username to start, whatever I put it says "failed to reach server". And then I cannot play it.

I'm really not sure why this app isn't more popular. I use it way more than Duolingo, simply because I enjoy playing it. I'm getting a ton of value from this one! 👍👍

it would be good to have some character progression other than cosmetic, good way to study, thanks and keep it up

For the Japanese kanji study, I find placing the radicals, or components first will help in remembering more difficult word.

Completely confusing.

Fun and engaging learning game, with a huge drawback. The free to play game is basically a demo. After only 2 lessons, you would have to buy in game currency in order to unlock each individual lesson afterward. This could actually cost a lot if you kept playing for a while. It would be nice to be able to earn pay coins as a reward for playing the game well. Or even if there was a modest flat fee to unlock everything. But the current paywall is a bit too steep.

First off, I do love this app, I play everyday. It has the entertainment value that a lot of other flash card games don't have. I don't that the pay-to-play portion is for creating the flash cards. Yes, app needs to make money, but it is a limiting factor as far as education value. So.. I won't be learning any new words for a while but gosh darn it I'm going to be a master of what I do know and still referring this app to friends.

I love that this app has turned my flashcard review into a fun, memorable game. I'm always looking for more ways to improve my Korean (Spanish... Hebrew...) vocabulary, and this app is definitely great for that. One thing to note though is that if you're an intermediate learner, you'll have to make your own flashcard sets as the "bookstore" offers the basics to suit a wider range of need. Adding your own "books" can be a daily chore and a bit time consuming (and if you go through cards as fast as I do, you might have to pay to play), but the developers don't ask for much and are sell "oins" at reasonable and respectful prices. Definitely don't mind pitching 2 bucks for a nice app. Do wish there were more games for grammar practice, though, in the future. ^^

Using games makes it easy and fun to learn a new language. I like that even though I've progressed a certain amount, it keeps going back to words and phrases I learned at the beginning every so often, just to test my memory.

I really like this app, but I wish the game would pronounce the words correctly. I always have to play with the volume off.

Best learning app so far, keeps me motivated to brush up things, I'm using it mostly for Japanese alphabet. Very accurate, very easy to understand, very easy to maintain. Love it.

It doesn't even start, all it shows is black screen. And please add Google sign in option.

This is by far one of the best apps I've ever used. It works as both a game and as a learning tool. I've been stuck in bed for the past couple weeks due to surgery, and this has been a lifesaver for staving off boredom and anxiety.

This is a great app that keeps you engaged in learning a language by its smart integration with a match 3 game. It's a staple resource I use to learn french pretty much every day!

It's a great app. Just wishing there was an app suited more for adults. More blood like a typical rpg
