Why fast anyway?

Fasting is a terrific way to retrain your mind and body to eat only when you are truly hungry. From a scientific standpoint, fasting is the metabolic state where you have completed the digestion and absorption of a meal (around 3 to 5 hours after eating). While you fast, your body continues to burn excess fat. You might start out fasting from dinner to breakfast, and then work towards fasting from dinner to lunch. With practice, you can fast for longer periods of time. It’s important to only use fasting for healthy weight loss. Fasting can be deadly for people under the normal recommended weight for their age and gender.

You can use fasting with most diets. A popular combination is using fasting with the Ketogenic diet since the Ketogenic diet is already burning fat for fuel. There are also different durations for how long to fast. A popular choice to start out with is the 16 hours fasting/8 hours to eat window that lasts each 24 hour cycle. Once you conquer this you can consider trying out intermittent fasting where you’ll fast for 18 hours in between each meal. If you eat dinner the night before then you can start your next meal as a late lunch lunch, and so on. There are several other extended durations for fasting. We recommend starting out slowly, feeling confident with the duration and then making adjustments to fast for a longer time.

I LOVED THIS APP! I set my fasting limit, hit 'start fast', and the timer counted down. When I thought I was going to break (eat), I tapped the 'I'm hungry' button. Within seconds, I got a message saying encouraging stuff, like, you got this, you can do this etc. I felt it was my cheering squad. It helped me finish my fast. Then when my time was completed, I took a bite of my sandwich already made, hit the 'end fast' button. It was very easy to use but is ONLY A TIMER and encouraging words to keep you true to the fast. I recommend it. I'm keeping it! Thank you developers. We'll done!!

Not happy with this app at all. Deleted my account and uninstalled. No refunds, unfortunately. Update: I uninstalled the app within the first day of originally installing it, but forgot that I needed to delete my account as well until after the 7 day window had passed, so I'm out $5 now. Live and learn, I guess.

I purchased this already, and it works well. I would like to see a widget or something in the future to help me remember how much time is left or to hit a button to cheer me on instead of having to open the app to do that. Still like it, still use it!

Don't waste your money I wasted 15.98 to integrate with the Macros and Keto apps and nothing. I sent emails and all they did was say they updated, which means they did nothing. It still does not work correctly. I want my refund.

I did not like this app. It was simple to start a fast. However, Stupid Simple Fasting became complicated when I attempted to save favorite fasts. Their was customer service was quick to respond but I decided to delete SSF.
