Really disappointed... Signed up for a premium service expecting a premium experience. The app lacks several features that are present in competitors - android auto was key among these. Perhaps most frustrating is that the developers couldn't be bothered to respond to an email I sent to them asking about several of the features that I had identified. Save your money and use one of the free alternate locker services - google music or groove music are both descent options.
I would have said 5 stars because I love the constant improvements the app was getting and plays all formats smoothly but lately for the last 3 months I have had issues with it recognizing my subscription, my money keeps getting charged per month and I cannot get it to stop saying I need to upgrade to pro. I have emailed the developers who used to respond fairly quick and now have not responded in a long time. It may be time to move on from this service and find something better. It also gives the same issue on my galaxy s7 edge.
I was really looking forward to using Style Jukebox. Unfortunately I could not get a single song to upload successfully no matter what computer and network I tried to upload on. I looked online for help with the errors I was seeing--no FAQs, no troubleshooting pages, nothing. I tried contacting support via e-mail twice--no response. I tried using the feedback function on the web app--the "submit" button wouldn't even work when I clicked it. All in all, it seems like this site and app are no longer being supported by the developers, which is disappointing (although perhaps I'd be more disappointed if I'd even been able to use it successfully once). I'm checking out another site called iBroadcast now, which already seems like it will be much better.
Good effort but immature and indeed beta-ish. Some really questionable fundamentals, for example all stereo playback was broken in one patch (fixed later). Some weird menus and UI design, frustrating pixel sniping on Android. Audio side works well now, but many usability/UI and connectivity issues drove me absolutely crazy. A bit lazy update cycles, dev team doesn't communicate much nowadays. Uploading songs stopped working recently for days without addressing the issue. Usability overall is okay on PC via browser, but Android has a lot of problems, e.g. sometimes every song decides to stop at the same particular time mark, until you force stop the app. In its current state, not recommended.
This app is wonderful in many aspects. Keep in mind, they are still working on developing more features. The syncing and accessibility from any device is excellent. Works great for my needs.
Junk. Created account and went to log in and it keeps going back. Pretty much a useless app.
You've made brilliant app, but there is one problem - last.fm integration.
Absolutely brilliant. Best cloud app I've used to date
Great if you want your own music available as easily as the curated statioms!
Needs a PC or Mac, who even uses a PC or Mac these days? It's 2017, not 2007.
Has all the features I want (like changing artwork, keeping albums/playlists offline, etc), yet a refreshingly simple and easy to use interface. Google Music and iTunes are a real pain to navigate these days so it's great to be able to just go to "Albums" and start playing one - like the good old days. Doesn't have restrictive device authorisation/deauthorisation DRM like all the other music services. Astounding value for money, £4/year for 10GB storage and unlimited streaming of your uploaded music? That's INSANE. Honestly my biggest worry is whether they'll stay in business.
NO small, initial free space OR even a trial period; which is NOT even hinted at in the description! "If you don't want to pay a monthly fee for Slacker or Spotify..." INDEED! You'll pay through the nose here. The terrible misleading is the worst part.
Great app. Easy to understand. Keeps my music synched across all my devices. No complaints.
I've tried every music player in the Google Play store, so take my advice and save yourself some time: Style Jukebox is the best. Easy to set up, rock-solid stability, nice user-interface and at a good price.
It works better than all the other ones I've tried
The desktop app's upload capability seems pretty robust so far, and I'm enjoying the Android app a lot. There are plenty of little bugs here and there, but I still think this is the best option for streaming my own library without the re-encoding, or the file-swapping that other services do, and without going into grey areas like streaming from services not meant to stream audio.
The app is great. Easy to use, fast and just what i needed. I'm giving a 4 since still a little buggy. One time it locked my whole phone, and i was unable to interact with my phone until i turned the music off by taking out my headphones
Easy to use. Different bit rates is nice feature but would be good to be able to upload from phone/tablet rather than having to use Windows application
Your application for Windows PC running on Windows 10 fails to launch. Needs debugging and issue of new version app for Windows PC compatible with Windows 10
Love it
I have quite a bit of music. Am listening to a little nirvana right now. I wish you could save the music to the SD card in the phone though. Doesn't seem like that is s possibility right now
I have just 2gb free space and it says that is up to 10 gb of fre space...
Songs can be uploaded only from Pc but not Smartphone. It is very necessary option on Smartphone. So it will become handy!
This is the only music streaming app that allows users to store songs based off of gigabyte and not based off of amount of songs. I love the idea and the upgrade plans could come in more variety but i would also love to see more promotional plans for more storage. Maybe adding a store to buy music will get more attention. I would like to see a windows 10 universal app version. Overall, i like this version more than the previous
There's room for improvement. I would love to have a widget, and also the app is not able to find the artwork for most of my music.
The app gets the job done but requires some polishing. There is no clear indication for a song whether it's available offline or not so that I can download it. It keeps crashing quite a few times especially when going in or out of offline mode. Giving it a 4 star though since there some good things on the other hand.
My music is synced on the desktop app but it's not syncing with the app on my phone. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app on my phone but no go.
The computer app says all my music is synced but it won't show on this app and it says I have no songs
I can't believe style jukebox isn't more well known among music enthusiasts with large music collections. I've always hated itunes. And all other programs simply don't have enough storage. I like Amazon but I don't like the matching service they have. Plus they also limit the bitrate. Style jukebox is what I've been looking for. 80,000+ songs in my collection and still uploading. I hope they stick around. I do have issues with the app occasionally shutting down on the pc while uploading songs though. Wish I knew why.
