Style My Hair

Very bad app. There is no way to try the looks/hairstyles, as you can't navigate from the hair color section. Plus even in there it's not as functional as it may seem. Frustrating and can't stand the app. Deleting it.

Didn't find anything good or working on this app. Loreal's website says you can use it to try hair styles and colors but it just doesn't work. Don't waste your storage space and time.

Was linked to this from the "try a style" page of their site but you can only try different hair colours in the app, which works terribly. Completely useless

Hilariously bad. As you might expect, this only works if you are light haired. It looks like what happens when you go over your hair with a coloured brush on photoshop and add a filter to it, except a human hand would remember not to colour in all the surroundings too! I even used a white background to give the app a chance. Might be fun for blondes though?

The app is still very buggy unfortunately. It also lacks a short tutorial to actually explain how to use it, which would have been ok if it were more intuitive to actually use. From what I could tell there were not many options to adjust my photo either e.g. resize/align/indicate where my features were, which made it hard to actually visualise the desired changes/filters the app is intended for.

Useless. You just fill out your hair profile. It's just a way to get you to certain stylists etc 🙄

I downloaded the app to use the "Try a look on me" feature. It didn't work. The camera was incredible laggy and you basically need to use a selfie stick to get your face in the tiny oval that is the face guide.There was also no instruction whatsoever as to how to use the app. Furthermore, the models and the hair overlays are horribly photoshopped.

Doesn't even change my hair colour! This app would only work if you had white or really light blonde hair. Bloody awful. Uninstalling.

What a disappointment!!! Now I understand the extremely low rating which I completely ignored, only because of this being 'L'Oreal' (a higher-priced brand which you expect more from...) It does not upload the picture properly. Also will not let your photo be properly centered in the face marker so the styles that are given for option are useless. Uninstalling.

I was looking to see what I'd look like...saw an add on TV for this. boasting about how amazingly real it looks.. I'm looking at the add and it looks real... but like they just got their hair died.. got the app. tried it. looks like a crappy filter. oddly the color does move wit your hair but it does NOT look real, you can tell it's a filter badly.

Does not work & not user friendly. Waste. 1. Cannot choose specific photo from your gallery. If you have 3000 photos, you need to scroll through all to get to a picture you want. 2. Cannot move or adjust picture size when you eventually get to the picture you want and have selected it. 3. When you pick a color, nothing happens.

This app is terrible, when I went to the "try a style on me" tab, it would only let me change the colour of my hair, but it was like a filter, it barely did anything! This app should be updated so it's easier to understand, or if it's just colours you can do to your hair, THEN SAY THAT IN THE TITLE

Glitches galore, makes app impossible to use. Oval for placing face in the Try A Style is unnatural and forces you in a strange posing position. Keeps freezing, crashing, won't scroll through options, style option pictures don't load. etc. Is anyone even trying to fix these issues bc this has been a problem for MONTHS.

Unable to choose the style because the app closes whenever I like it or dislike the first photo.

Omg it's terrible. I honestly can't even get a decent photo of my face in the damn oval face spot. I can't move the oval which would make it way easier as it's up higher instead of centered. I just want to 've able to decently try some hairstyles but as with every app it's damn near impossible.

The main feature that I downloaded this for does not work. Fix the "try a look on me" feature. It let's you take a pic, choose a model or select from your gallery but it's as if the feature crashes after that and refuses to work and goes back to the home screen.

Installed this and it was working great for a bit, then the app crashed. Since then, I can't open the app at all. I have uninstalled and reinstalled many times, tried force quitting and nothing works. Hoping with an update it will work again.

Doesn't do anything. All it does for me is sort through colors. Nothing actually changes on the image I'm using. Not sure what the point of this app is. It'll change the color of your hair, but barely. But there's no feature to try new hair styles or anything.

doesn't allow the "try on looks."It will neither take a photo or use one in the gallery. That feature is why I downloaded the app, so I immediately deleted it. The app is basically a pinterest board without the ability to try hairstyles.

I actually tried the app does not work. Dont even bother. My hair is naturally black and I tried to use the filter to try on the other colors it didnt work. Other than that, I wanted to download this app because I wanted to try out other hairstyles as the app said it can but I cant even access the page.

The worst app ever I used to use L'Oreal all the time and I'm disappointed that the app is nowhere near as good as I used to use years ago. I tried to take a photo of me and it said I needed to add a color first so I added a color and I swiped down back to the camera and it took a picture and suggested I try this color at the salon or something. it did not let me try hairstyles as I expected . I couldn't find a way to do that and I thought I could . Poor app get your stuff together!

This was pointless. It advertised that it would allow you try on different hairstyles, but all it does is show you different hair colors then direct you to make an appointment at a salon! False advertising and waste of time.

The "try the style" feature doesn't work at all. Tried using my photo, a model photo, and a direct from camera photo. All times it cut right back to the home screen. I hope they fix it in the future.

I only tried editing hair on a photo, but it was pretty awful. Couldn't get anything to work except odd blobs of color near my hair. App was often unresponsive and crashed a few times before I gave up (on a Pixel XL).

Ok if you want to see what greens or purples might look like, but a bit rubbish for natural colours. Barely any difference between light brown, reddish brown and black! Just seems to darken the hair slightly. Black shows as slightly darker than your natural colour. Uninstalled as unhelpful.

Terrible. Just gives option to change haircolor, then takes you to a page where you can find your closest Loreal hair studio. Doesnt give option to try different hairstyles for your face. Ridiculous. Also you cant even fit your picture into the space for the face.
