Apparently blonde idol and shades eq cream can't be used on any hair level per this app. I'm a relatively new hairdresser and i was really excited about this app as a cross reference but I can find more help on Google, YouTube and Pinterest. Sorry but this app has turned out to be a waste of space on my phone.
slow as a wet turd sliding down a dry rock. the only reason i gave it 2 stars is because i can eventually get into the app and get some prduct ed. otherwise, no. this is super slow and inconvenient.
This app doesn't deserve even 1 star. when trying to upload a photo, it says the app has stopped. Please don't boast about adding new features to the app if you can't make it work.
App won't load! it used to work and it just stopped. I'm very disappointed and it seems like they don't care that it's not working because they haven't fixed it in months.
According to the app Shades EQ isnt recommended for any hair color. 80% of the time the app wont even load. I love Redken Shades EQ and Gel Lacquer, but this app is subpar.
Use to work great. Now the new update won't work on my android phone. Will not open or (now) download. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Nope.

The color swatches are not accurate. Can't use blonde idol formula helper.
Before it stopped loading at all, it was still a crappy app. Now it's totally useless.
Didn't even open such a disappointment redken how could you not want to provide education for your stylist that use your products so much.

When on the formulas section, it doesnt give enough options for my clients starting color. It gives levels but no tone. Yes, the hair is medium brown, but I can't choose if its red brown or gold brown, which is not at all helpful when i need to cancel out tones.
Wish the keyboard would work
Ok, I have is issues with this. I'm african american. You don't even have emojis showing brown women getting there hair cut! I have multi ethnic salon. Well, maybe you didn't consider that. Nice app just isn't for me.
I've been using Redken for 25 years. I just decided to use the app's brain instead of my own to formulate a color. It was AWFUL!!! I hope there aren't any students using this app. They'll be disappointed and won't learn a thing about the color wheel, since this app doesn't even use it!
The app doesn't work, when you try to sign up for an account the drop down boxes don't work at all and won't let you move on till you select something but thats impossible because the drop downs dont give you any options.
