SubAssistant - sub job alerts

I had some trouble with this service. When I had the free trial I had emails and text messages sent. After I purchased the service the emails came late and I stopped receiving text messages. I checked my settings and everything was set up correctly. I looked for a way to contact Sub Assistant and couldn't find a phone number to call. I am over all pleased with the app. I just have to take a look more often at the app as I don't receive text messages any longer and the emails are too late.

I began subbing toward the end of the school year - March through May. I had little luck finding openings by visiting the Aesop webpage and had to constantly refresh the page. I tried the trial version of this app and things changed dramatically. I was able to accept many assignments, misding only two days. Sometimes the competition is so high that it is even difficult to hit the accept button before someone else had grabbed it. A good value - badically one days pay for a year of great help.

This app is ok. I would rather see a list of all available jobs when i click on a notification. Also having the ability to add to calendar on my phone would be fantastic. I have been checking this app out since my other app got rid of the good notification sound it had and i can barely hear the notifications now. a more urgent sounding notification here would be great as well.

I used subassist for 2+ years. Very good. Got a lot of assignments. Now the new version doesn't provide an icon like the old version but instead requires me to login before I see any openings. I've contacted support twice and all I get is link to migrate to new version. So now I have no way to get openings quickly, before others. What to do? I would appreciate a call to get proper support.

Liked the older version much better. Almost always the first app to get a notification from. Not the new one. I have not picked up one job from the new version. And my data doesn't seem to want to save. I've had to reenter data several times. This is definitely one time when an update wasn't an improvement.

I just canceled my service. As many have stated the old system was great before they migrated to the new service. Initially there were issues after migration (including double billing me for both the old and new services). However, since the beginning of September I have not seen one posted job, even though the position is showing as available on the Aseop system my school board uses. I have contacted customer service three times regarding this issue, but have never heard back from them.

Works great..EXCEPT...it would be helpful to have an "Are you sure you want this assignment" button. Once you hit accept, even accidentally, that's it. So if you could add something like that or the option for that in the settings and a current assignments section that would be great. :)

I started using SubAssistant 5 years ago to fill my sub schedule. With the old app you could quickly choose jobs. After merging with the new app the once quick and promising app did nothing but cause frustration. Notifications for jobs are lagging by hours. Text service doesn't allow you to get more info on the job. If you click on the text for more info, you're automatically accepting the job. So, after 5 years I ended my subscription.

Don't know what happened to this app. Stopped showing jobs and can't even log in anymore. Tried to send a help request and they sent me the same auto response 98 times! Never got back to me. Will have to cancel subscription.

I have used SubAssistant for many years and the new version is sub par. The old version did exactly what it needed to. UPDATE: I will be changing apps. Customer service, while friendly & quick, was not able to help fix the problems.

I really love this app, it's very effective in presenting available jobs. However, I do find that a few jobs are not displayed here but are displayed in a rival app, and visa versa. But overall a very helpful app.

I really like the sub assistant and how it lets me know right away when a job is available. However yeah, one time it was a problem when a job had been accepted when I had only opened the app and then responded close it.! It was quickly remedied by my kind School District! Overall it's an excellent system. I appreciate this assistance. Currently I am unable to work due to surgery, which is why I haven't been responding. Thank you for this program! Julie Ann Hurst

I used this app for the last two school years and it worked great even after unsubscribing for the summer. However, this school year it had not alerted me at all yo any jobs. I know there are positions available for my district if I sign in to the website and I get calls for positions but no alerts from the app. What's up with that?

The app was ok but slow to respond to postings. Also it didn't make a calendar event after confirmation of job assignments. I'll stick with jobulator it's less expensive and it has the features I want.

This app is extremely helpful in getting jobs. My only complaint is that due to limited data, I cannot receive jobs all the time. Therefore, I miss jobs. If they had a way to receive text alerts without data on, then I would get more jobs.

Feels like the alert is delayed, couldn't get the job even the phone is in my hand and i accepted it as the message is shown on my cell. And there's no cell message reminder anymore. I'm thinning of try out other apps. Thanks!

The old app was way better. The new one has not been working since the beginning of September even though I am a premium member. I made two reports already and I have not received a response as yet. It is frustrating because I depend on it to find subbing jobs.

Since they updated (and overcomplicated) this app I have had lots of trouble with it not sending notifications, even after going through their troubleshooting. Switched to a different app.

I love the platform and I have had success booking jobs. I work in a district where there is an 8 day per month maximum for subs and so you can imagine that competition is tough. I get immediate feedback from frontline after booking so I don't have to worry that my job wasn't processed. Most of all I LOVE that there is a trial period that does not require a payment # to begin. If I were staying in the area longterm I would pay for this service without a doubt!

Wish you would get job notifications in the app. Icon only instead of having to go to your mail box. Have called and tried every option you offer and still can't get it to work.

I am trying in vain. To find my pin mo. I was told to use the ap. I am doing that and still can not find preferences! I am loosing g $ everyday that I can not set up a district that was ALRWADY set up previously. So so annoying. All that I get are detailed emails and no phone contact for help!

The notifications come in before another mobile app i have, via a text but you can't accept the job from there and have to click the link and wait for the page to load before being able to accept the job and it's always too late. The job is no longer available by the time you are able to accept it. :-( Also you can't see what jobs you have scheduled. It's not worth the money.

I wish it offered all the info from the site it extracts from, but it is up-to-the-minute, which is paramount. I like that it sends texts, so I have a record of the assignments that came available throughout the day.

It is so confusing in trying to fix a problem. I had my service stopped because of no payment, now that I have paid it will not notify me of any jobs. It's been almost two weeks. I have updated my phone number to no avail. If I cannot fix this problem this week I will cancel my subscription.

They changed the App and now I can't get it to work. I have followed the instructions to migrate my account and it still won'twork. I contacted the company. The only way to contact them is through email. They don't understand the problem or just don't care. I think I may have to cancel.

By the time this app notifies me of a job, it's always too late; the job is already taken. This is not occasional. I tried another app (Jobulator), and Sub Assistant has notified me of the job as much as TEN MINUTES after I accepted the job on Jobulator. It's not worth the cost and I canceled and deleted it.
