Subbr Free: Subtitle Editor

Fine app for subtitle editing. Using for a while and found useful. Automatic backup feature is very useful. Cons are 1. No support for sdcard. Only files in internal storage can be edited and saved. 2. No option to insert a line. It would be great, it you can fix this also. Thanks a lot.

This is a 2014 app lol still working in 2022 in nokia 5 android pie. it perfectly worked to make my subtitles -13.5 seconds behind matching exactly with the movie. this app is perfectly working . i don't know why other people are complaining may be their phone is not supporting because its very old app. 👍.

Wow! When I tried to load and resume the work I had done the previous day, I realised it had all been lost: it will never actually save your hard-work, just fool you into thinking it is there. As soon as you turn your machine off, it will revert the file back to its initial state. Thank you soooo much for this!

What does this app do other than editing the font (Bold,italic,underline) You can't create subtitles and u can never sync it with a video easily , it so bad, I recommend you to use subcake app to feel the difference

App good.This app is made for subtitle editing..that's really great ..But there is a request for development that there should be an option to change the time of more than one sentence in one click..(subtitles sentences)

I am no expert, I just needed to synchronize subtitles and this application makes it so easy. Very user friendly

I thought this app wont work but surpringly it got the job done. My subtitle was early by 3 seconds, so i clicked the option auto sync option and then added 3 seconds

This app is godsend. Perfect for my need to fix the timing of subtitles. I wish I was able to buy Pro version just so I could help you monetarily.

I just wanted to open an SRT file and see what was inside. This claims to be able to do that. It did not. I got a message saying ”Unsupported subtitle format!”. 👎

Whenever I change the time frame, it changes itself, how will I sync the subtitle if it changes automatically? Please fix this.

It's reallllllllly good and easy to use. I love it thank you. But I wish that we could add another part to the sub while editing it.

No .srt support. Cannot access external SD card. Can't even open anything to test its features.

At least for me, instantly, an STR from my phone is not possible to open. It says "Unsupported subtitles format!"

Updated the rating, as the .srt files are no longer being updated, the main purpose this editor was supposed to help for.

This is actually the best subtitle editor, even better than Some of the Windows softwares I use for Subtitle editing..

Easy to edit any srt file. I'm using it, and my opinion is that this app is good for editing srt files. Keep it up!

A subtitle app that doesn't support native .srt? Kinda defeats the purpose

Doesn't work. Just shows black screen. Well outdated, hasn't been updated since 2014

Weird, it did good, but now, it often displays "unsupported sub format" eventhough it is a .srt file.

only works internally, cannot export or share the video that has been subtitled.

I want so bad to use this but there are NO instructions and the author apparently no longer responds to emails or thru FB page comments.

If the dev don't support the srt subtitle which is most commonly used subtitle file, i don't recommend you to download this ****ing app

Says that mp4 and .srt files are unsupported formats. Which format is acceptable to this app?

Useless, cant even open an SRT file, telling me sub file not supported!

I hope theres an option to increase the sizes. There some subtitles are so small in tv.

Find and replace option required to make it perfect subtitle editor.
