Subcake - Add Subtitle to Video, Subtitle Maker

Paid Premium for the app, and after taking so much time for embedding the subtitles to the video, I found out the subtitles are as big as half the video. I tried exporting with original video size, and other 2 options but the same result. Same subtitles and video when played separately with VLC player comes up fine!

This app is almost perfect, it's very easy to use and very handful I really love it , if only the developers can add an autosave function that automatically save the file every 30s for example in a draft because the app is very likely to close spontaneously due to variable reasons related to the phone or Android systems (it's not common to happen though) but when it does, you lose everything you worked on this session, so please consider adding this function please. Thank you

it looks great at first so i bought the premium version so that i could embed subtitles to my video. as i tried to do just that, the app suddenly closed! i repeat and the same thing happened. is it my phone problems or the app problems? or i didnt do it the properly? coz it seems pretty straight forward instruction u got there. until this problem fixed, only 1 star for u. i realize that there is an autosave function coz i can find the file (half-finished) but i couldnt resume the work!

I don't know why so many people leave low rating on this app. I'm looking for an app that can merge/make subtitles easily on Android and this is the only one that works well. I have 2mobile phone, Samsung and Redmi. It works well on Samsung but keep crashing on Redmi. Not sure the problem is. But there are still many things that developer can improve. I hope there will be some updates soon 🙏😊

Hate the app. When its time to merge the video after all the hours of adding the subtitle they ask to upgrade to premium so that I could complete what I was doing. You should've mentioned that at the beginning of usage in the tutorial section. What a wonderful waste of time!

Absolutely amazing! The interface takes a little bit of getting used too, but it's ALL worth it! But if there could just be an option where you could edit the video itself, this app would have it ALL. (To be fair, I haven't seen it all. If this option is availiable, tell me pls)

Downloaded the app and immediately deleted. The instructions are not well made and messy and everytime I try to follow them, I always end up on a page that says 'No captions here' I tried every single button and got the same result everytime. It's a bummer because now my video I worked hard on can't be released because it needs subtitles.

worked for me really very well. no complaints AT ALL. you just got to know how to use it! also, it's obvious that the process of jotting subtitles down takes up a bit of time, so you better be ready to work if you really want to have subtitles for your videos and make it all-inclusive for every kind of audience. again, THE APP IS GREAT. thanks to Team Subcake! :)

Good app for creating subtitles, but is best to export in .srt format as most media players can open these files. Just put the video and the .srt file in the same folder and give them the same file name (keeping the .mp4 and .srt extension) and most media players will find the subtitles easily. You don't need to spend money unless you want to physically embed the subtitle into the video.

After long hard working adding subtitles I found out you need to purchase the app to save the video with subtitles. Misleading not explaining you need to purchase app to be able to save the video with subtitles. I haven't tried if it work after purchasing the app

Sir... I had Buyed the subscription for 1month and when I tried to merge it.. First of all it took 3-5 to merge... Plz fix it as soon as possible... And also when I tried to add subtitles on YouTube... Its telling error but I can use it in other apps like VLC etc...plz fix both of the problems as soon as possible... Or refund my money... Because it's not merging....

Seriously disappointing. I save my file but the dang folder won't even show where it is supposed to so I can't access the folder. Good thing I only got the monthly subscription (which I have cancelled, my money is not going to a failed app).

i used it for quite a while and i really liked it, i was going to give it 5 stars originally but when i updated my phone recently, it stopped working, it won't even start therefore i gave it only two stars also it would be great to be able to change the subtitle styles or at least colors

It really a great app but i think you should remind first that if the users want to save the video they need to pay. Because absolutely the users want to upload the video everywhere but just do not want any cost. I know we shoulx give u credits but it dissappointed us too. After hours work out with the video at the end we cannot save the video easily..😢

This is CONSTANTLY kicking me out! My phone isn't old. I've tried restarting my phone, redownloading the app, and even tried getting rid of a few data consuming files and nothing worked. I'm sure it's a great app but this is a MAJOR bug

I bought the premium version in order to embed the subtitle with the video but it's not happening. It says the file is saved in storage

i would give negative stars if possible. i cannot open the app since it keeps crashing saying "subcake keeps stopping". when i searched online, it says you can't use subcake while your phone is rooted but mine is not, i have latest android updates on Samsung a30. i really want to use this app, please contact with me, or solve the problem.

if I could rate this zero Stars I would, it keeps kicking me out of the game for no reason, why do you do this to people?! it's wrong and it needs to stop. I'm tired of you people kicking us players out of the game for no possible reason!! if you don't want us to play your game then you shouldn't have published it! I deleted this game!!! Would NOT recommend playing!!

It's a good app.But then when you try to save the file it says "save file" but when I go to file manager I can't open the file. Please fix it.I badly need this app to make my word easier.

This is a great app. I was using this app long hours a day. It is very easy to use and very practical. the only problem now is that it crashed with the newest version of Mi 9 Pie. (Doesnt also work with MI A3) please fix this. If so, rating 5.

When I finished downloading this app, I tried opening the app several times, it crashes for no reason at all. Plus, this app is a waste of time, Disappointing.

It's easy to use, but why is the embed option for premium? I can't even use this app when I'm in a rush edit because I couldn't merge the subtitles thanks to the premium.

Best app to adjust subtitles and merging them to the video. It was very simple to adjust the subtitles. Great Job devs. If i needed premium features then i would have given 5 stars.

this app is great above all other subtitle apks! I have been using four years. What a pity when users give it lower rate, may be because it doesn't run on rooted device, and the developer not give any hints to use some of the features

I request to you please make a update for Android 10+ . This app used to work in previous Android versions. But now it is open always crashed. Please fix it. It is very important for me.🙏🙏🙏

Yo!This app is completely useless.I thought this app is good like i tried to merge my video with a subtitles and they say 'You have no internet connection' like seriously?!?I have internet thank you so much and FYI,I didnt root my phone so its not because of that.I only giving one star cause video and subtitles works good but i cant merge my subtitles and videos together.Thats all...Im done

I pay the apps for premium feature...but to merge the subtitle with the video...it took too much time...my phone getting hot....cant exit the apps while merge... such a waste....im not recommend this apps.
