Fun game, but fast Got through all missions with top kit in 5 days with easy playing. - Radar system is poor, giving no indication of distances to target being in range. - Targeting system is poor, removing target indicators from other ships once lock is obtained. + Control system is one of the best I have played. Smooth and responsive. - No variation in craft handling. No difference between yaw and pitch, so no tactical/flight variation. - Missiles are a weak add on at best
Very good so far. I would suggest a section of the main menu contain a modest amount of instructions on game basics, how to upgrade ships and equipment, navigating the universe and such. Trial and error is fine, but it took a looooong time to get proficient and move to the second star system. Update: I have completed all levels and systems. Would love some new content added to the game!
Excellent game... l just love it... easy to learn and play with challenging scenarios ... I have been playing for quite a while. My only complaint (more of a wish) is that they continue to add more missions... however, you can replay everything and each level has an open battle zone called the "free hunt" which you can play endlessly... there are no adds and if you want to spend some of your own cash you can but not necessary at all... I really can't say enough... thank you!!
The only game I've paid for in many years. Excellent graphics, an intriguing storyline, and super comfortable to play. I just wish there were repair kits I could purchase that I could use in-mission, as needed. Sometimes the enemies overwhelm you, and with shields almost gone, it would be good if I could have a fighting chance by being able to restore my shields even by 10-20 percent. Game devs, hope you're listening!
The controls, the flight and aiming are all smooth and easy to use. My only criticism is that this game has levels instead of quests/missions... Hopefully these developers create an open world based system, (spacestations, some form of long distance travel ect. Galaxy on fire 2 is a great example) but this is still an excellent game and starting point. I'm just not a fan of level 1, level 2, level 3 and so on, based simulations.
So far it is awesome it's not necessary to pay to play which is a plus. Graphics are excellent. Controls are easy and simple. The storyline is a little slow but it's still early in the game. Update: its not even the full game no wonder it seemed so awesome it's only one level. I rescind my rating to a 2 star for your deception
It looks nice. But the ships handle poorly such that getting behind an enemy to shoot at them is nearly impossible. Not to mention colliding with obstacles is an instant kill. The "explorations", where you fly around an empty map looking for four crates, nerfs your speed so it takes forever to even GET to one. I would like to apologize for my earlier misconception. It does, in fact, say that this is a free demo. I simply missed it.
Best space shooter I have found. Just keeping it clean and simple unlike a lot of other space shooters and games. One star lost for one simple thing. The speed indicator should stay on so you can see it!. Not vanish when you take your finger off. In cockpit veiw would be nice. But that would be a extra bonus. Its the speed indicator thing that bugs me.
5 stars for awesome graphics, controls, music, interface, pacing, gameplay and no annoying ads. But the dev wants to get paid too so when you want to continue the game you have to pay $3.49 to unlock the other systems to continue on. I don't begudge the dev choice of monetization this way except im not really hooked on it before being forced to make a buy-me-now choice.
This game is effectively a demo, you get to try out all the game has to offer: story missions, mining and free hunts, and then you have to pay to unlock more. I don't understand why people are giving the game 1 star for this reason. It cost me $3 to unlock the full game and it's been the best $3 I've spent on the play store EVER! People compare it to Galaxy on Fire 2 but I feel it's very different. This game is an intense space shooter and there's never a dull moment. GoF2 is more open world and you spend way more time roaming/exploring. I definitely recommend this game. If you're hesitating because the demo was easy, the difficulty really takes off after you unlock the full game so don't worry about that and enjoy!
There should be a way to enter the new systems without paying. Think about it and implement. Otherwise I will play repeatedly the first system until getting bored, get the 50 level XP, buy the most expensive ship and upgrades and delete the game. The response of the ship when controlled by the accelerometer has a lag. You need to work on this. I've seen action games which response was very fast. You have to skip the dialogue without confirming it twice once the mission was played once.
Awesome game! Winning graphics and effects in a lag free environment. I just started, but the story is awesome, dialogue is funny and realistic, and the upgrade prices are fair and the levels are balanced. Much better than more well known games in the same genre. I speak from well experience that this is the best game of its kind on the app store. One suggestion, the game would be fun with multiplayer options.
HOTDAMN the game looks amazing! Alot better than Galaxy on Fire 2 (which is an outstanding game by itself), the graphics are crystal clear, the frame rate is exceptional, good dialogue, and it's really easy to fly and learn the game. I see myself playing this a lot more as I explore the campaign mode. Overall: 5 stars. Compliments to the developers.
Really like it, the kind of space game I was looking for, easy to understand, controls are decent, and I like how you fly the ship, like your in a space dogfight, very cool creative game. I just wish you could play more levels without having to pay, wish you could change that aspect of the game, let people earn their way through the game.
This is a fun game, with some interesting plot twists. I've used the accelerometer controls config, instead of the onscreen joystick. The ship crafting system is a great idea and the upgrades process is really straightforward. Could there be any sequels in the works, whether as a single app or as an add-on for here? Perhaps the main plot may seem kind of short to go through, great gameplay though
It's pretty enough, but the controls feel clunky. The tilt sensor is almost non responsive for "up" regardless of calibration, and the throttle requires constant wiping to adjust (like a mouse) instead of the screen height being 0-100. The deal breaker was the surprise purchase required to go anywhere beyond the 1st stage. That short playthrough wasn't exciting enough to entice me into that.
Very repetitive with lots of grind mining and rather odd targeting system to use against plentiful targets. Mostly just keep shooting and hope for the best. I was looking for something more like GOF2. If you like to waste money and have a plot as thin as tissue paper this is the game for you. Also I couldn't get my money back for this really boring game.
Never played a game like this before. It's great!! Just completed first level and I was happily surprised that the Boss took some "tactical thinking," and wasn't as easy to kill as most Boss matches in every other game I've played. Graphics are superb. Control-types are easily available. It's an all-around good game that I would recommend to anyone interested in space flight/battle games. Great job, dev's! I'm hooked
