I realize that this app has lost almost all functionality in Pie. But it still is useful in providing one tiny overlay which to me is huge! I can still hide the page/home indicator. This review is long overdue. I used it with great results in Oreo.
I love it, it's easy to use with all the features I want that Samsung doesn't have and then some. :) I had to do something within a few hours but I was having trouble with it at first (user errors), but when I asked for help the dev was nice and responded immediately.
I don't know what happened but now no overlays are showing up. Also it's only allowing me to install 1 tweak. As soon as I install another the first tweak reverts back. Please fix this issue. I love this app! I'm on Tmobile S9 Plus
Works surprisingly well on One UI. Some of the mods are redundant for me, but this is one of the better substratum apps.
Hi so as you'll see I'm on a note 10+. I already know theres no way this app will work with my phone. I downloaded this app for the soul purpose of leaving a review. Before downloading this I decided to check out the reviews on it. It's got a lot of 1* s I noticed... but after reading all the 1* s everyones just idiote. I fully believe I can use this app perfectly AND I DONT EVEM KNOW WHAT IT IS only after reading the developers responce to all the one star problems. Good luck devs! XD
I use a Note8 that I intentionally keep on Nougat for reasons I can't fit here. According to other reviews, supposedly, it doesn't work on Oreo, and as for the experimental double tap, is there a way to have it work on the empty areas of AOD and the home button area rather than the main area? Also, what does the "AOSPify" option do?
If you're on Oreo or below, this is a great app. If you want PIE, don't bother. This app has not been updated in over a year. I would rate it 5 stars if it was updated to support PIE.
Can only apply one tweak. After apply another tweak, the first tweak reverts back. Very frustrating.
Great addon, bur after the Pie update I am no longer able to use "Remove Status Bars Wifi Speed" under SystemUI customizations, because substratum gives an error compiling
I dont know , this app took half an hour just be installed, it means like it wrote there installed but i can't even find it ? But so far , it's okay but maybe gor the beginning its kinda hardd😷
I was able to change my navbar like the GP 2 style and put the clock to the center. Thank you so much!
Any plans for PIE? Great mods and most work perfect on GS8+ PIE with andromeda. Some mods are only for Oreo or Nougat but others do work, mainly remove carrier.
I did install and what's next? No icon, no wiget, no way to open. Description says "Find the mod you want (ex: System UI -> Center Clock)" - what a beautiful enigma. The developer loves enigma even replying comments here.
its does really well when you pair this with some other themes and system ui tuner you get a great status bar highly recomended
the minimalistic outlook is pleasant. i would love to have this on android pie too.
It says can't connect to Andromeda backend while other substratums like pitch black works flawlessly
i just download it and when its done installing, i can't see the app when i go check at play store it says "uninstall" so yeah, ill give it 1 star
Awesome app! Perfect for those who have phones that cannot be rooted. Thanks!
Great app, but removing icon labels doesn't seem to work? (Galaxy A6, Oreo 8.0)
It wont let me open the app, I installed the other app and it wasn't working either..
I can confirm nav bar height is working on note9. Thanks dev
Transparent navbar it's not transparent, but the icon transparent 🤣
this is the worst app bc i cant even see it and i tried everything and it only says install 1 star!!!!
Can't get the navbar to be black always. Disappointed. :(
Does not work with one UI pie on S10+
can you please update for pie. I love thr center clock but my s9+ just got updated
THANK YOU. All I wanted was to hide the battery icon from my status bar while keeping the battery percentage on my Note 9. Couldn't do it in settings, couldn't do it in LockStar, couldn't do it in System UI Settings. Several Google searches finally turned up a lone Reddit post that directed me to the XDA thread for this app. I figured I had nothing to lose, gave it a shot, and lo and behold it worked! Even had options for a center clock to boot! Thank you!
